    Not trying to be a jerk but your website is terrible. First it’s barley legible on a iPhone with which I use to order everything. Now this could be my phone. Just sayn. Also I can’t for the life of me find a “search “ button on the home page. So I go to the next logical place and click under “rifle parts”. Nope no sign of trigger parts here. So I look on every tab for trigger parts and can’t find anything about triggers or springs. Can you help me out. I may be way off base here. If so I apologize. Thanks

      Look under the "Rifle Parts" drop-down menu, and then select "Fire Control".

    You say "AR-10". Does that include the DPMS type .308 auto loaders?

    • @deplorabledave1048
      @deplorabledave1048 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Got it.
      Any plans for a collapsing stock for the AR10/DPMS lowers? ...with the special captured spring?
      That would be nice to make a nice, modern .308 lighter (and more customizable) but the same size as an HK .308 with their collapsing stock.

    For me the whole installation isn’t that bad except for the snap ring 🫤 ended up jabbing my hand trying to pry it enough to walk it off but I like the spring and it does work great but I’m debating whether it’s worth over a regular buffer spring and buffer cause it took me forever to break the thread locker since I didn’t have a torch or heat gun or blow dryer as I don’t have a use for that stuff 🫤 but I would like one for a lighter solution for an AR-10 build but I don’t know if it’s worth all that hassle again just to set it up.

      If you purchase the one of the kit versions (JPSCS2-15K, JPSCS2-15K-H2, JPSCS2-10K, JPSCS2-10K-H2), the front screw has not been installed yet. You can do your testing to figure out the correct configuration without any Loctite. Once you've got it setup how you want it, put a little blue Loctite on the retaining screw.

      You can remove all weights and run without them. You should then use a lightweight BCG and adjust the gas to a lower level. In many cases you have to run the green buffer spring for reliable operation. I would not remove the weight unless you tune the whole system as described.

  • @yuyu900726
    @yuyu900726 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just purchased a full set of LMOS and silent capture spring system. This may be a stupid question but it have bothered me for so long. So by my understanding, the buffer weight and BCG move as a whole during cycling. So does it make a difference when you remove 1oz from BCG vs 1oz from the buffer weight? And if lighter the better, why don't I just remove the buffer weight completely?

    • @96SN95
      @96SN95 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm no expert but as I understand it.. You want some mass there to keep the speed of the BCG in a good range to not beat the rifle up. You should be safer running lighter weights (and 'maybe' no weights) if you have an adjustable gas block to tune the gas system for your BCG and buffer weight (or lack thereof). Main thing is to keep that bolt velocity in check.

  • @sailingstonerose
    @sailingstonerose 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Keep in mind that for suppressed AR10 you may need three tungsten weights @ $120. This makes an already expensive spring ridiculously expensive. I bought one and I am done, it is just too expensive for what it does.

    Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
    Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
