If you are burning up your rotors about every 5k miles or a little more... you might want to pull your front wheel and and true the wheel on balancing stand... I had a buddy who was burning rotors at 5k and then again at 12k for which he had the dealership replace them BUT here's the problem as most of us who are independent builders know that Harley has more than one flaw. Having to replace rotors every 5k or more is NOT normal wear so I had my buddy bring his bike over and we yanked the front wheel and trued the wheel like you would on a spoke bike and found that his wheel was several thousandth out which is enough to cause one to chew up rotors or get that pulsating wobble after so many thousands of mile of riding or when pulling hard on the front brake. Great video for many of the noobs out there.

      Excellent point on the rotors.

i have had some good luck with amazon/ebay parts, but i have had some poor quality parts also. returns to amazon are so easy, i could not resist the cheaper parts, to at least try out. do not get your LED lights off amazon/ebay. get quality. i had an amazon light throw a code on my road glide and it took a while to diagnose.

Yup. Great point. Anything that has to do with function and performance on your bike needs to be quality.

Thank you for this very helpful video. I just moved to Arizona and got a honda rebel cmx 2013 and I've been struggling when looking for parts. Any recommendations such as physical places or websites. Thanks in advance

Definitely not tripping about the helmet. A helmet is no longer good once the integrity is compromised

@@ridefitnation I currently have a Klockwerks 14" Sports Flare windshield. With the stock seat the wind just went over my head. However I recently purchased a new Mustang seat which sets me about an 1-1/2" higher and now causes buffeting to my helmet. I'm trying to find a windshield to deflect the wind over my head and figured the lip you have on your windshield might be the answer. Again thanks for the help.
