    Hey Jared, thanks for the video. The Mavic 3 does have night mode on the 4/3 camera with iso up to 12,800.

    Ordered the Wide Angle lens for this since i enjoyed it on my Mavic 3. I now have FOUR (4) -count em' different field of view options. Just not simultaneously, lol!

    How long does a single battery take to charge with the setup of plugging into the drone while leaving battery in the drone? I have Mavic 3 Pro with the middle controller with one battery.

    Hi
    When you first set up your drone was your 3x camera on 12MP by default instead of 48MP?

    The 166mm is my favourite lens for video so far, it performs far better in reality than it does on paper. Most people that ‘review’ it just don’t know how to use it

      Hey, just ordered mine and while I wait to receive it - what tips do you have on how to use it to get the best from it that others aren’t doing?

    I’m truly enjoying my new pro over my original mavic 3 of which I thought was the best drone I’ve ever flown ,being in the drone hobby for around 6 years now I’m just blown away at how much better drones have become my first gps Drone was the bugs 2 the mavic mini and then the fimi 2020 the mavic 3 pro is truly the king of the drone world

    • @BlairAir
      @BlairAir ปีที่แล้ว

      Fimi.2020 is a gateway drone to more serious drone addiction... thats been my experience. Went from swearing other manufacturers MUST have competitive products, and avoiding DJI like an Android guy avoid Apple (which I am, and do!) To seeing how little real competition is in this space. Sure, I have an Autel Evo 2 Pro V2 /V2 Smart Controller, and an Evo Lite+
      As nice as those aircraft are, flight control, autonomous flight modes and ecosystem are challenged and not getting better in the few years I've been in the community. So I have EVERY DJI Drone released since my Mavic Air 2, except the redundant "Minus Models" Mavic 3 Classic - the newer one than the real classic original not named Classic (that was a weird name for a "Junior" models, and the Mini 3 "Non-pro" lol. Starting with Mavic Air 2 I was reluctant and stubborn, but duly impressed and, well. Here we are. My replacement Mavic 3 Pro Fly More is out for delivery, riding around in a UPS Truck. The ultimate time-out for a beast of the air. Oh, if you were going to ask, replacement was entirely for a cosmetic issue, and a minor one at that. But why settle? They overnight shipped both ways from California to North Carolina, so why not!

    With the Mavic 3 Classic I have found a marked image degradation in video @ anything past 2X zoom especially early mornings a pity as the Mavic 2 Zoom that I had with 2X optical zoom gave much better resolution with video. The optical 3X zoom is a down grade compared to 3X digital zoom.

    Just a point of note, the standard Mavic3 Pro comes with the 65w charger, not the 100w as you suggest. The 100w only comes with the Cine version.

    Considering the Cine version of this drone, just for the ProRes 422

      You can't beat it. Very pricy drone but nothing else in its class.

    • @petersuvara
      @petersuvara ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ditchauto but is it really what you need for TH-cam? I mean, I just looked at some footage comparisons and the ProRes422 is not necessary that much of a difference to the D-CineLike on the Mini-3 Pro when lighting conditions are set correctly.
      I guess it depends on the target audience.

      @dronemagics7301 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@petersuvara Absolutely no need for Cine. I have a serious gig for a tv show and the video guy called me yesterday " I hope you won't use ProRes, because the previous droner brought an Inspire2, recorded at 8K and it took HALF a DAY to transfer the files ! Never again ! "

    • @petersuvara
      @petersuvara ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dronemagics7301 haha. Yeah, 8K pro res... a little over kill really. I'll stick with H264 for now.

      It has cooling fans inside the chassis. That might be what you are hearing. You can feel the warm air blowing out the thing that looks like gills on a shark.

    Digital zoom isn't doing anything for you that capturing the image and cropping or zooming in after the fact won't do.

    The Mavic2zoom was the best drone they’ve made. Just switched to this pro and the camera system is pretty disappointing.

    PS you only get the 100w charger with the 2 Fly More variants. The Drone/Controller comes with the 65w. Folks should note that the 100w charging hub is a different part number - the old one will work, but will not pass 100watts. People started using 100w chargers last year, but I measured only 60-62watts and no faster charge. Turns out you would only get the higher power/faster charging when charging in the drone. The new hub/charger solves all that.
