That ownership was so petty and toxic. Love was arguably a top 10 player in the league att and they were constantly hasstling him for not being able to drag their dogshit rosters deep in the playoffs. Pretty sure the owner pissed off and alienated Garnett too, who was the sole reason the team wasn't moved to a different city within 10 years of its founding.

So, which is it? Good player that puts up great numbers on a bad team, or good player that puts up pretty good numbers on a contender? When Love goes to the Cavs, they go to the Finals four straight times, winning once, and maybe could've won in 2015 had he not gotten hurt. Also, Bill loves Lebron, but I've noticed that he trolls him a little more now that he plays on the Lakers. Rose got injured because coach Tom Thibodeau was famous for running his players into the ground by overplaying them, if you think back to 2008 through 2011 drose was way better then Russell, Russell rose because of rose being injured if rose goes on a different team his story would have been different remember he almost beat a heat team that had prime dwade, lebron and bosh, and rose best teammates back then were joakim noah, Ben Gordon, Nate Robinson and Carlos boozer who was on the downturn of his career because of injuries, Russell is a beast but has never accomplished more then Derrick with less talent on his team

He never been a top 30 guy in this league but he selected as all star and all nba. Even he selected on all defensive team while he is shitting on defense. And i want to tell something people don't understand, rebound isn't a defensive stat. Westbrook averaged 11 while he is shitting on defense. Doncic averaged 11 in first 20-30 games in this season. Literally if you play over 30 mpg, you can average over 5 rpg. You don't even have to big man. If you are over 7 ft and can't get 10 rpg, you are bad rebounder. They select him on all defensive team just because he led the league in rebounds.

As a big Italian fan, I am biased - but I honestly think that Gallinari without injuries could have easily evolved in 25-8-5 kind of guy in a top-5 NBA team in his prime (not the best player of the team maybe, but second best or third best). His first 2-3 injuries really slowed him down. But his mix of ,powerforward frame, all-around offensive game (high level spot-up shooter with the ability to handle the ball and post), defense skills that do not hurt your own team could have helped a lot of teams and easily complement a lot of NBA superstars.
Also, NBA fans probably did not see him with the Italian national team, where he often is producing volume scoring, playmaking, defense, and has also moments of leadership and clutch.

You are not that biased, i think he could be similiar too. Maybe not like 25-8-5, more like 22-6-4 but similiar. Last 3-4 year, he became better in defense but in his early years, he was a hole in defense. Maybe he could better defender than he is now if he didn't injured that much.

His trainer's should have had him doing Drop Landings training, & other landing exercises from different angles to properly teach him how to land properly during an uncontrolled environment in the game of basketball. Zion needs to learn how land better also being so explosive. I'm happy D Rose resurrected his career & making postive winning contributions to the team. He's a Winner & Hall of Famer to me.
