1. Don't ask 40% or 60% hike, tell exact number. Like "I want 20 LPA" Never say percentage. And don't say "as per industry standard... etc" that is wrong. LOL. 2. Research on that company and try to find out average salary on that role. Let's say currently your CTC is 4 LPA and the company for that role can give 15 LPA then ask for 15 or little bit above. 3. Don't worry about interview was good or bad... oh my god I should accept this ctc as my interview was not good... no. You don't need to think about it. You have cleared the interview that's it. 4. Most importantly, have an exact figure(LPA) in your mind and tell the HR. and if you don't like the offer say it that you can't go with this offer. Belive me guys HR will be in panic. Coz he/she needs to do again the interview process like shortlisted the resume from 1000 candidate, then schedule the interviews (3-4 rounds) then again select out of them, meaning that all the process again. So if you have cleared the interviews and came to salary negotiation round then HR will not reject you because of few lakhs. Maximum she can say that they don't have budget. that's it. 5. Prepare for salary negotiation round. Remember HR will get promotion if they hair good candidate with less salary and they are getting paid for this. They spend their whole life on this. And how much you spend for this 10 minute round which will decide your future? 0. So it is obvious that they will win. haha. Be confident and remember this 10 minute will decide your future lifestyle. All the very best.

I done the same and still feel bad.
Go back and ask the hr again.

Hi Krish! I am a big fan of your content. Keep doing the great work!
Just a suggestion. sometimes it seems that to give emphasis you are repeating the same information multiple times.
You can make some preparation, it will optimize the length of your video.
otherwise, you are great to watch! Best of luck.
Very well explained.thank you sir
