I would love to see stories about the discovery of the Force, and the most ancient Sith and Jedi orders.
I believe that the crimson cloaked figures the Covenant Jedi saw were themselves. The crimson comes from the bloodshed of their padawans. Their padawans' blood stains their Jedi robes. Except, now their robes are no longer Jedi robes, for they have become Sith robes. The vision was a warning against being consumed by fear and violence. The Jedi failed to heed the warning and created a new age of Sith.
Thanks! It is just something I thought of while watching this. I feel that it is a strong possibility that the prophecy was meant to warn the Jedi, rather than provoke them to lash out violently. That's the thing about visions of the future. You cannot stop them, they are set in stone. If you see them that means you were meant to see them, and that the actions you choose upon seeing them would evidently result in causing the future that you foresaw. Either that or even if you try to change the future it will always come to pass, one way or another. Stop one of the evils you foresaw, and another of his equal will appear to fulfill the roll. You'd think wise jedi masters would realize this. I suppose not everyone is Yoda, though.
Nemenon I think in Star Wars, those Visions are not completely set in stone, I remember Yoda saying something like "Always in motion, the future is", so it might just be one possible outcome you see. For example in The Clone Wars, when Ashoka has visions of Padme being killed by Aurra Sing, she states to feel Pasme's death, although she survived, so maybe the interpretation is very important, like maybe if Anakin hadn't turned, his visions would have turned out to simply be about the agony of childbirth
Awesome! :) This is a really interesting story, and I love how it highlights that the Jedi are far-from-perfect, and are not some supremely-enlightened order of angels but are actually flawed, sentient living beings, and can make mistakes, committing terrible deeds and great sins like the Jedi Covenant's Padawan-massacre. I also love the story's ending with Zayne and Lucien's repentance and final fates - make me happy and optimistic. :)
Thats not how I read it. The way I saw it they saw the coming of Revan not Darth Sidious. Revan even makes an appearance in that series with Malak. And it was Malak that was in Red at the end. He was the destroyer of the Jedi and the Republic.
He would still be screwed because the rebels already suspected the Imperial Navy was coming and were preparing to evacuate. The rebels would not be taken by surprise and Vader would blame Ozzel either way.

If memory serves it wasn't crimson cloaks, it was the enviro suit they were wearing when they took the test on the moon. Also it wasnt the Darth Sidioous that they saw, it was Darth Revan (or Malak?) that was seen in a later episode wearing the same suit (the series takes place during the Mandalorian Wars, Revan and Malak are on the start of their campaign against the Mandalorians).

It's important to note that John Jackson Miller, the writer of the Knights of the Old Republic, did a fantastic job with the 50 comic series and found a way to create a prequel to the video games and a bridge to the movies. Zayne Carrick, Jarael, Gryph, and Camper are great characters, and the incorporation of Mandalorians added to the mythology of Star Wars.

Holypikemanz thats what im thinking. With Order 66, balance was brought back to the force. 2 sith, and a few jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Ahsoka Tano (I forgot the others). Ahsoka was eventually killed, Obi-Wan died and Luke rose to be 'A New Hope'. After Yoda died, the force was unbalanced, so Luke had to fight them. With Luke's academy after ROTJ, the force became unbalanced, so Ren killed the Jedi padawans and masters. Then two Jedi were left. Rey and Luke. They were against Kylo Ren and Snoke. Sound familiar?

You should do a video about Satele Shan from the Old Republic, how she is able to withstand Darth Malgus Lightsaber with her bare hands, no other Jedi has done that, atleast from my knowledge. Another topic you can do is How Maz can have Lukes Lightsaber since it fell down a shaft in Episode 5 at Bespin. Luke even created his own green lightsaber because he lost the blue one, so it's just weird that it ends up in a chest on another planet.
Satele is able to block Malgus' lightsabre with her bare hands by using the rare Force power known as 'Absorb/Negate Energy'. Corran Horn from the old continuity was also very good at it, as was his grandfather Nejaa Halcyon. Nejaa used it to drain all the power from a lightsabre that had been plunged into his chest then turned that power against his killer, crushing him with telekinesis. Corran once used it to pull in all the power from a massive chain or explosions, channel it upwards, and project an illusion to an entire pirate city that the resulting pillar of fire was the blade of a giant lightsabre to help his campaign against the pirates... unfortunately for him, that drained him almost to the point of collapse, and he ended up naked because the Force didn't protect his clothes.

I don't know if this has come up, but I recommend differentiating Legends info from Canon info somehow in the discription and the video itself. While fans who are familiar with the old EU, like myself, are able to differentiate between the two, newer and more casual fans will probably have a hard time doing that.
This was a great series; it is probably my favorite SW story arc. Too bad it's in Legends now. But I interpreted the prophecy differently. I dont think the Covenant's visions were referring to Palpatine and Vader. In fact, I thought that the visions were ultimately true: Zayne was the one who destroyed the Covenant and sent shockwaves through the Jedi Order. However, this was only indirectly; the Covenant masters brought about their own suffering and demise. in trying to avert the prophecy, they ended up fulfilling it. this was powerful because they were so focused on stopping the sith that they became unaware of their own potential to cause as much, if not more, harm to the Order than any Sith.
The thing with prophecies is that people who are committed to believing them see their fulfillment everywhere and believe that it's going to pass in their lifetime. They don't realize that the prophecy could be attributed to have passed at any point or not even come at all.

I remember reading the end of this story. It was never confirmed, but I remember Hazen referring to Lucian after his defeat at Zayne's hands as Scion. This hints at that the fact that the already darkside leading Lucian would become the Sithlord Darth Scion later, just as Hazen took the name Darth Haze.

This is a really interesting story, and I love how it highlights that the Jedi are far-from-perfect, and are not some supremely-enlightened order of angels but are actually flawed, sentient living beings, and can make mistakes, committing terrible deeds and great sins like the Jedi Covenant's Padawan-massacre. I also love the story's ending with Zayne and Lucien's repentance and final fates - make me happy and optimistic. :)
Thats not how I read it. The way I saw it they saw the coming of Revan not Darth Sidious. Revan even makes an appearance in that series with Malak. And it was Malak that was in Red at the end. He was the destroyer of the Jedi and the Republic.
Love stories like this because it gives so much insight in to the "modern" Jedi order that we see.

He would still be screwed because the rebels already suspected the Imperial Navy was coming and were preparing to evacuate. The rebels would not be taken by surprise and Vader would blame Ozzel either way.
monkeyfarmer1138 Except minor tweaks such as, Echo base will lose its shield and ion canon due to orbital bombardement, so the rebels would be forced to evacuate at once, many rebel ships would get destroyed (Xwings and even shuttles) as a distraction to help the main rebel transports escape.

If memory serves it wasn't crimson cloaks, it was the enviro suit they were wearing when they took the test on the moon. Also it wasnt the Darth Sidioous that they saw, it was Darth Revan (or Malak?) that was seen in a later episode wearing the same suit (the series takes place during the Mandalorian Wars, Revan and Malak are on the start of their campaign against the Mandalorians).
This is awesome. Disney doesn't care about this kind of stuff. But it's awesome.

It's important to note that John Jackson Miller, the writer of the Knights of the Old Republic, did a fantastic job with the 50 comic series and found a way to create a prequel to the video games and a bridge to the movies. Zayne Carrick, Jarael, Gryph, and Camper are great characters, and the incorporation of Mandalorians added to the mythology of Star Wars.

I've read the comic. They saw Darth Malak (at the time called Squint) wearing Zayne's red space suit, although they did have a later vision of Vader, Luke and Cade.
I personally prefer the dark side because you can make your own rules and have a life to live. Not like the jedi order where you´re not allowed to have any feelings and when you´re on the dark side you don´t have to be evil. You still can do good and use the power of the dark side.
Agreed. "Darkness" doesn't necessarily have to be bad or evil. It's what you do with it. The Jedi Order had so many restrictions, it's not even funny. It's like some strict religious cult or something.

Here's a question. If the jedi were 1000s of beings at some point, and the Sith were very few, maybe 2, wouldn't "bring the force back into balance" mean a large number of a dead jedi to balance the scales? Shouldnt the jedi not want the force to be balanced when they are way ahead?

Holypikemanz thats what im thinking. With Order 66, balance was brought back to the force. 2 sith, and a few jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Ahsoka Tano (I forgot the others). Ahsoka was eventually killed, Obi-Wan died and Luke rose to be 'A New Hope'. After Yoda died, the force was unbalanced, so Luke had to fight them. With Luke's academy after ROTJ, the force became unbalanced, so Ren killed the Jedi padawans and masters. Then two Jedi were left. Rey and Luke. They were against Kylo Ren and Snoke. Sound familiar?

You should do a video about Satele Shan from the Old Republic, how she is able to withstand Darth Malgus Lightsaber with her bare hands, no other Jedi has done that, atleast from my knowledge. Another topic you can do is How Maz can have Lukes Lightsaber since it fell down a shaft in Episode 5 at Bespin. Luke even created his own green lightsaber because he lost the blue one, so it's just weird that it ends up in a chest on another planet.
Satele is able to block Malgus' lightsabre with her bare hands by using the rare Force power known as 'Absorb/Negate Energy'. Corran Horn from the old continuity was also very good at it, as was his grandfather Nejaa Halcyon. Nejaa used it to drain all the power from a lightsabre that had been plunged into his chest then turned that power against his killer, crushing him with telekinesis.
Corran once used it to pull in all the power from a massive chain or explosions, channel it upwards, and project an illusion to an entire pirate city that the resulting pillar of fire was the blade of a giant lightsabre to help his campaign against the pirates... unfortunately for him, that drained him almost to the point of collapse, and he ended up naked because the Force didn't protect his clothes.

I don't know if this has come up, but I recommend differentiating Legends info from Canon info somehow in the discription and the video itself. While fans who are familiar with the old EU, like myself, are able to differentiate between the two, newer and more casual fans will probably have a hard time doing that.

This was a great series; it is probably my favorite SW story arc. Too bad it's in Legends now.
But I interpreted the prophecy differently. I dont think the Covenant's visions were referring to Palpatine and Vader. In fact, I thought that the visions were ultimately true: Zayne was the one who destroyed the Covenant and sent shockwaves through the Jedi Order. However, this was only indirectly; the Covenant masters brought about their own suffering and demise. in trying to avert the prophecy, they ended up fulfilling it. this was powerful because they were so focused on stopping the sith that they became unaware of their own potential to cause as much, if not more, harm to the Order than any Sith.
The thing with prophecies is that people who are committed to believing them see their fulfillment everywhere and believe that it's going to pass in their lifetime. They don't realize that the prophecy could be attributed to have passed at any point or not even come at all.
The event doesn't seem to have anything to do with Sidious and Vader, just the Sith lord deceiving the Jedi when their guard was down.
The Knights of the Old Republic are my favorite Star Wars Legends.

Rian Johnson got the Idea of Killing a Padawan, only for said Kid Becoming the Evil Mastermind.
I remember reading the end of this story. It was never confirmed, but I remember Hazen referring to Lucian after his defeat at Zayne's hands as Scion. This hints at that the fact that the already darkside leading Lucian would become the Sithlord Darth Scion later, just as Hazen took the name Darth Haze.
