Loons are my utmost favorite subject to photograph ~ Phenomenal footage of those Loons ~ beautifully presented.!.
Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful.
Incredible video Harry!!! The footage was not only beautiful but moving, watching the interaction between the parents and the chick! Thank you for taking us along on this photographic journey!!!
Excellent work, congratulations!
Thank you very much!
I loved this. It reminded me of the loons at the lake we went to for years. You do awesome work.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations for your amazing work and thnx 4 sharing those magnificent sweet loons!

Amazing photos & videos. Really enjoyed this video & your advice to never stress out wildlife.

This was super great to watch! I’m following a pair of loons this summer up here in Alaska .
Magnific

Thank you!
Great video Harry!
Loved this Harry! So amazing! Can not wait for summer and the loons to return. Thank you!
Thanks as always! Me too. Just booked my trip for June to come back up!
Outstanding, Harry. I can't understand how such an excellent video can only get 2,556 views in 6 months.
Thank you Jerry!! I really really appreciate that!!
Thx SO much for bringing the loons online! Have loved them all my life.
Incredible experiences with these loons in Maine. What a breathtakingly, beautiful sequence of images and videos of the sunrise with the fog sitting just above the lake.
Thank you!!
Oh Harry how I love the Loons!! They are my favorite part of being in Maine which is not very often any more. Thank you so much for what you do and for sharing your photos and videos with us. ❤
Great video, hoping to photograph some loons myself this year. Such beautiful birds.
Thank you! They are fun to photograph! Hope you get them!

Wonderful photography. So glad you are able to do what you obviously love.
Wow. Easy sub.
Simply wonderful stuff Harry. it is like we are right there
Incredible footage Harry! And what an experience it must have been for you two! I was lucky to experience a group of 4 Loons (i made a small video about them myself and uploaded it to my channel here, but nowhere near as decent footage as yours!) visiting a nearby dam this winter, and what beautiful birds they are! Thanks for sharing and regards from Germany, keep it up!
Thank you! I will have to check it out!
Absolutely amazing!!! What time of year will the chicks be riding on their backs?
Fantastic work Professor, from start to finish.
Thanks Randy!!
Wonderful footage and images, nice work!
fantastic
Thank you so much!
@@HarryCollinsPhotography you are among the best wildlife photog's I've seen. Following ALL of your social media. Hope to do a workshop with you someday.
I could watch this video all day! Have you ever lost camera gear while kayaking?
Wonderful story. Ray just sent me your name. I'm glad he did!
Wonderful content! What a special experience this was.
Way to go. Pretty awesome.
Thank you Robert!
Hi Harry, really enjoy all of your work. When shooting video on the R5 do you shoot in Log or one of the standard picture profiles. Cheers.
What lake in Maine were you at to film the loons? Wonderful video. Thanks.
Wonderful. How do u mange taking amazing pictures from kayak. Is it easy handling 600 mm from kayak
Great work on this! I've loved loons since the first time I heard them on the Cabonga Reservoir up in Canada. What model kayak was that? Looks like a Stellar brand if I'm not mistaken - just not sure of the model.
I have an R5 and 100-400mm EF mark2. Great combo. I primarily take stills but really want to get into doing more wildlife videos. What settings in the menus have you changed for the video side to film wildlife? Im not talking about shutter speed, aperture and iso but under your focus menu and video settings under the menu section. I'd like to shoot in 4K as well. I think the 8K feature is overkill haha. Also what do you use to edit your videos? Just one more question as well. I've heard in video mode whatever youre filming in... say 30fps you'd want to double your shutter speed from that or roughly double it while filming?
How’s it being in a sit in kayak with your great? I’m thinking about getting a sit on kayak since they are a bit wider
I like the sit in, to be lower to the water but I will admit it took quite a while to get comfortable maneuvering with my gear
Beautiful images and videos. Love the haunting call of the Loon.
