This is fantastic. I’m very impressed. You are an example for even me. There are times I just don’t get around to checking the store around me out. Great job and great comment.

Hey, Rich! I’ve been an avid “thrifter”for a few years now. I went to Oak Brook mall before Christmas (I know, crazy) and I was actually having some anxiety! Too expensive! Too crowded!
Goodwill stopped selling furniture a while ago, but I got Guido a brand new rocker recliner for 9.99! I get most of my clothes at GW. Found wool army blankets at a church based resale shop in in northern Wisconsin for I think it was $5 a piece!

I just subscribed to you, and actually work in a store that takes in donations. When it comes to tools and hardware, check to see if there is a Habitat for Humanity Restore in your area. Although we get a lot of furniture, we also get really good tools and such in. I have gotten drills and saws for a lot less than I would get them new. No clothes or camping gear, although we do have a kayak in our store right now. Great option in my opinion.

Thanks for being a subscriber. I truly appreciate you. I now live in a suburb of a large city and the really good stuff is few and far between. Every couple of weeks we take a trip to the country and find the stuff our family needs. Thanks for your excellent comment.
