A reviewer in Japan released a video where he showed how unstable the tripod is when extended. The one he had looks identical to this version so I imagine it's the final release. I think I'll pick up the Sirui version instead as that really appears rock solid.
I love Sirui stuff ! I have the P326 monopod. The P426 monopod with feet. I have the ST-124 tripod. I have a ball head and the L20 tilt head ! Quality gear at a decent price.
I ordered 2 weeks ago. They have not shipped it yet. I sent them email to cancel the order yesterday (that is the only way to communicate for anything). No response yet. I don't have any hope to get this nice tripod. I just hope I get my money back.
I bought mine on Taobao 2 weeks before the global launch started and received it in about 7 days. (International shipping) They were very helpful during that time. Perhaps the tripods are quite ordered. This may be the reason for the delay in communication and shipping. Also, the last week of September to the first week of October are Chinese vacations.

They've brought to Brazil to showcase at SET Expo, I've seen it and I was really impressed. I'll probably get one for myself.

i bought this tripod because it sad it would work with the Sachtler Aktav8 head, but the aktav8 head will bind up.
