The one thing I do like about all the X-Men movies is that they kept the core of what the X-Men is all about- they are outcasts of society always struggling to find acceptance, appreciation, and equality for who they were, from humans and even their own. You see it in every movie. This movie was a very strong representation of that, to me. Jean's power was so great that not only did her own birth family abandon her, but even the X-Men turned on her, and Magneto even wanted to kill her, despite begin the great defender of mutants everwhere. In the end she was too mutant for even the strongest and staunchest defenders of mutant equality. Both Xavier and Eric realized at the end that she was just far more than anyone of them could even begin to understand. The Phoenix only helped to bring that to the fore front even more by showing Jean's truest potential. Apocalypse was an example of when absolute power can delude one into believing they are a god or meant to be one, but Jean's case was different. Her situation is an example of when we fear too much something without fully understanding it first, and how our ignorance can change that thing from something helpful, to something incredibly harmful. Apocalypse made himself into a monster. But the world forced Jean into that hole against her will, until she finally lashed out.
I'm not so sure. While her immense power frightened many, Charles wasn't really scared of her. He was wrong to try and shut off bad memories. Eric tried to kill her out of revenge for killing Raven.
That’s one thing I actually did admire about Dark Phoenix: its subversion of the classic concept of the X-Men being outcasts. Instead, the opening of the film shows the X-mutants being ACCEPTED by society. It’s an interesting idea that I actually haven’t seen play out in this series before, because Xavier’s arc in this film is about trying to KEEP the peace with humanity that he’s fought so hard for since First Class. That’s why we was willing to risk Jean’s life, he said anted to do everything he could to ensure the safety of the humans and keep the “mutant perspective” positive.
The X-Men did NOT turn on her. Magento wanted to kill her big surprise, he always wants to kill everyone he lived with vengeance he said so himself. But the X-Men helped her. And Chalres did lie to her, but to protect her. What was he supposed to tell an 8 year old? That her father is alive but wants nothing to do with her ?. All Charles ever did was protect and help EVERYONE around him. Hank so desperately wanted Charles to admit he was wrong but he never was. Charles deserved so so much better than what they did to him in Logan.
@@leen.9418 not for nothing but Charles did one thing wrong he altered her memories and told no one about that, not even Hank or Jean knew about it. That's why Hank had his reasons for being mad at Charles. I'm glad she acknowledge that he was trying to protect her. Charles loved Jean like his own daughter and he recognize his mistake.
Heath Ledger Have you ever heard of Thomas Bergersen ? Some of his stuff is clearly matching Hans Zimmer's skills. And sometimes it goes above. Try for example the song Deliverance. Or Illusions. Or Enchanteress.

If I could only listen to the music of two artists they would be John Williams and Hans Zimmer. Regardless of how you felt about the film, the music was beautiful.
Simply an amazing Soundtrack! Hans Zimmer is quite excellent in what he is doing, especially when it comes to superhero movies. "Man of Steel" OST is my favorite, currently :))
Can someone please explain to me how on earth people can think this movie was remotely bad, but endgame was a masterpiece??? Once again, not listening to reviews made me so glad. And God this soundtrack.
I absolutely love this soundtrack!!! It's absolutely AWESOME! They may not have done that well with the movie, but my goodness, they sure made up for it with the music!!! 👌🙌👏
tracks like this one make me think what a boring world it would be without Zimmer in it. every single one of his tracks in every movie make me wanna work twice as hard. or cry like a baby.
Really love the last part, kinda had some Witcher 3 vibes with the women singing. It also slightly reminds me of Death is the Road to Awe by the good old Clint - and maybe something else that I have a hard time remembering for now.
This was one of my favourite x-men, don’t know why it got so much bad press. Magneto was bad asse and Hans Zimmer created another one of his masterpieces... the icing on the cake.
X-Men Dark Phoenix is is my favorite movie and soundtrack is my favorite soundrack thanks for your upload me too to be Sophoe Turner, James McAvoy, Michael fassbender, Jennifer Lawrance and Hans Zimmer, keeps this movie together
Creator of worlds - Hans Zimmer. I imagine … How many letters have been written to express love or hate, how many novels, thesis, projects in chemistry, physics etc. How many little future x-man he created. I imagine the future half-human half-robot is listening to this now and comes to the conclusion - I will implant the whole digital world in my head, I will create extraordinary exoskeleton to allow me to walk on every planet. I imagine the world changing - evolving and the next little x-humans are inspired to do whatever they have to through the genius music of Hans ZImmer . I imagine how many tears he wiped out from the face of the boring daily life. I imagine.....and I myself become a creator.

To be honest. Micheal Fassbender, Sophie Turner, James McAvoy and Hans Zimmer. Keeps this movie together.
the studio ruined it with reshoots
