If you look closely the clutch is linked to the throttle, so he actually isn't blipping throttle which helps him brake much better and utilise trail braking.

up at the cutting when scott said that he liked to go down a gear, i usually stick 4th and brake the second i hit the apex going into the cutting. but i race on project cars 2 not iracing (because i dont have a pc)
I don't understand.. I feel like I'm doing the exact same thing as Scott around Bathurst, but I'm 10 seconds off..
its all about the braking points and how early you plant the accelerator coming out of the corners i think, and also how you take the corners

@@SimonWorlds 2:00.8 is decent for a GTE on iracing though. Althought Verstappen got a .7 with a GT3.
