Thats because he stuns him with the vessels, spirit, transformation and immobilize. Charge up the focus point to damage his shield and stuns him again. Its a pretty common build for erland fight

The only boss in the entire game that gave me issues (more than a few tries) was Yellow Loong..... Now ive been stuck on Er Lang for a couple days now, when I fight him he spazzes out with a 27 move combo lol... ima try this armor set and technique tomorrow
@@ST-pq4dx New Game +. When you finish the story instead of starting a new game, an option will turn up in the main menu to start a "new cycle", where you start over but keeping your skills, items and curios etc from the last game.
@ i did so in ng and the next two ng plus but didnt seem that quick. I guess because of the lack of crit hit curios. Will try again in my current ng+++
After completing Chen Loong’s questline and unlocking Zodiac Village. Defeat Yin Tiger in normal game, NG+ and NG++ to unlock a curios slot. You can find Chen Loong in Bitter Lake > North Shore of the Bitter Lake in Chapter 3.

Naw something don't add up on this. His erlang is super chill whereas everyone else experiences a relentless feisty erlang. I call b.s.

I can't pull this off either in NG+3, he dodges all my apramana bat freezes and immobilizes. I'm wondering what I am doing wrong

Smash stance, then combat spinning , thats not related to any stans, one used in defecting projectiles
