    As this doesn't have many comments, just thought i'd let anyone who watches this know it works. And if your cable on has 2 wires and not 3 that works as well. Actually works really well, thanks for the tutorial!

    You play very well and you have a beautiful daughter that looks to be lost in the music - I know the closed eyes and gentle movement anywhere :) encourage her to play as much as you can, it's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself

    Nice hack! I suggest you solder the wires to the cable, and add heat shrink to make it stronger and more reliable than just twisting and taping.

      This is just superb, I have been researching "what does the asterisk mean in music?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Danilliam Illustrious Dominance - (search on google ) ? It is a great exclusive product for discovering how to learning piano fast minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got great success with it.

    I made something similar out of a particular piece of cable packaging the only difference is that my one works with a cable that's still intact. I lost my pedal so I might use this tutorial to make another.

    Thank you so much it rlly helped me, but there is one little problem; I can’t control my sustain pedal. If I inject the jack on the electric piano the sustain pedal will be pushed the entire time so when i play it could create a mess... Hopefully you can help me thank you.. 👏

    • @lauragrandas4036
      @lauragrandas4036 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You did it wrong. The sustain is only activated when the aluminum foils are in contact. If yours are always touching then that is the problem

    thankx ,very creative idea. brother, I want to motivate you to Build a universal pedal which can be used for any midi signal such as sustain, expression,modulation,variation etc. Can potentiometers be used for this ??

    • @HslSoulsick
      @HslSoulsick 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm trying to figure out the same thing... tattoo guns bring this sorto of pedal to make contact and close the circuit... when you release it. It breaks the circuit... but my idea was that this pedal could be modulated by other passive components. Maybe latching relays or slide potentiometers... maybe even a LED/LDR combo.... like an optical wah. But I guess what you only need here is a contact-maker...at least for this case... keep on searching. Maybe we'll figure something useful soon. Bye bro

    Basically all we need to do is to connect 2 pieces of wires together with possibility to split them or connect with foot.. So, is it better option just to use any bigger switch, (from some old lamp or room light switch) attached on some 3"x 3" solid platform under?!
