can't come back from a slippery slope. you would've had to have avoided the slope altogether which is not always possible. even if you want to. before you even know it you're sliding downward with no way to slow or stop yourself.
is it me or is it a scene missing? Im talking about a photo of heath yelling and im speculating its from this video ( heath had the long black hair - mustache combo in that pic)
@@akaNandy yo I tried several times to send it to you, it’s a pic via Pinterest so for some reason it doesn’t let me to, but anyways, I think about it again and I’m pretty sure it was taken during his posing for that famous painting of his, just weeks before his passing(he has that black hair moustache combo and his newest-at that time- tattoos on his shoulders)
@@necropolis6164 I’ve taken a look and I believe I’ve found the picture you’re describing. I can’t be 100% sure since I haven’t seen the original cut, but to me, it looks like a photo from late 2007 or early 2008, when he was filming Parnassus. By that time, he had already given the “Black Eyed Dog” video to the Nick Drake Estate. I can assure you that his hair was blondish and not dyed black when he filmed this video because I had to convert a scene to black and white. Also, all the footage of him was filmed in “selfie” mode, whereas the picture you mentioned is a proper photo taken by somebody else. Hope this helps! P.S. Read the video description for the full story behind this cut.
@@akaNandy yeah you right, didn’t notice the hair colour deference, anyways you did an amazing job man thanks for sharing it with us, I hope it won’t be striked or something!
He looks like nick, wish he could have played him. But saying that, to give such a depressing video to Nick Drakes's family is really bloody insensitive, if you read the new nick drake biography you would understand why i say this. Nick suffered severe Psychosis at the end of his life, i dont think the drake family would appreciate this self indulgent video of nicks song. Yes we can all suffer depression, i have and it was close to nicks after smoking extreme amounts of cannabis. I recovered thank god, but nick never came back from it.
To respond to your comment, it's not correct to say that a work of art can be "insensitive". I invite you to read the video description where I tell the story of the "original cut", which Nick Drake's family gladly accepted and presented at two official events dedicated to Nick. From what I understand, if Heath hadn't passed away, a DVD would have been released containing a series of tribute music videos by different directors, including Heath's. And to conclude, I find this modern attitude of censoring anything that touches on sensitive topics to be insensitive. Extreme political correctness is a modern cancer in the entertainment world that is miseducating people.
The opportunity to appreciate the music of Nick Drake is an excellent reason to stay alive .
I wish to God the opportunity to create music had been reason enough for Nick Drake to stay alive.

@@dijidalI’ve been feeling in the same way lately. I can’t find anything to stop me from continuing to fall.
R.I.P Nick & Heath. 🙏

What could have been.

Two tortured geniuses gone too soon.

What I always loved about Nick was the raw authenticity
Beautiful
This may not be the official one but crazy it got leaked I've been looking for this video for a while
My guitar is tuned down to 432hz and is in sync with his G chord. I wonder if ND tuned down as well as alternate?
From what I know he did all kinds of tuning tricks
Some of us can understand.

... interesting, it is possible. Please send me the link to the photo so I can have a look

Do you really think any outside party could add to the anguish and grief Nick's family have already endured?
