You'll switch when you want the challenge and thrill of mastering a new machine. Switching from Apple to Apple? That's for kids! Switch from Pixel to Samsung? Yawn... Switching from Android to Apple (and vice versa)? Now you're talking! More engagement with the tech. The large and small differences are brought into sharper relief and lead to deeper understanding. You'll know when to switch! 'Til then, enjoy!
I like this series of videos about your switch to the Galaxy. As someone who switched from Samsung to Apple years ago, and even now says that both iOS and Android are great and which one you use should be more based on which ones makes you more comfortable and happy to use, (in my case Apple only really getting me to stick around because I also have an Apple Watch and iPad, since ecosystem synergy really gets you once you are in)… I find it fascinating to see someone do the exact opposite switch I did. Even now I still miss Android and it’s greater customization options as well as how crazy experimental their features can be in Android phones, but not enough to switch back and break out of the ecosystem. In the end, people should use what makes them happy, and as a former Galaxy user… I can totally understand why someone would want to stick to the Galaxy when they switch to it. Good on you for enjoying what you enjoy. If I had more money I’d probably try to have both phones to really compare which phone model I prefer these days… but I’m not made of money 😂. Still, I’m happy and as long as you are happy I will always support your decisions! Good on you, man.
I'm an S24U and Windows user. When you were describing your excitement for iOS 18 and MacOS Sequoia, I know what you mean ... because I use that feature all the time with PhoneLink. So it sounds like iPhone for Mac users and Android for Windows users, maybe?
Your series about changing to the Samsung has been great. I was always Android through and through... but, actually went the other way from a new Galaxy S21 two years ago to an iPhone 13 Pro and wouldn't ever go back. It was partly to do with work and part family. Since experiencing iOS, Facetime and airdrop then carplay I realised what the hype was about. Can't wait for ios18 and the personalisation!!
I made the opposite switch last year after having nothing but Android phones my entire life. I'm not a tech reviewer or content creator or anything like that. Just a normal guy. I can honestly say that I don't think either is really better than the other, they're just different, and it's about which features you prefer. I'm planning to stick with Apple for a while because of a few features I actually use, like MagSafe, integration with my iTunes account on my PC, airtags, and now an Apple Watch. But if you don't care about these Apple-specific features, using an Android will be just as good an experience. One big feature from the Galaxy that I miss though is the extra long zoom. When i go to sporting events the extra zoom really came in handy.
Great viewpoints. I agree that all the phones and devices are equally good. I've taken the easy way out of this either/or discussion, I've for years kept an Android (Samsung or Pixel) and an iPhone. I know that it has been a privilege many can't or shouldn't necessarily do, but it's worked for me. Enjoyed the views of everyday London.
i have both, s24 ultra is king, but somethings about samsung are just unpolished, to me. just look at his video at the start, the jello effect is really bad. iPhone's dont do this. just a bunch of little things that has me waiting for ios 18 to see which will come out on top.
Thanks for this video. I used to switch back and forth between different platforms. But I always went back to iPhone, because as boring as it can be, it just works so much more smoothly than any Android I've had. Plus I do have an iMac, so the integration between the two is amazing.
I totally agree with you about the fluidity of iOS and ease of getting around. I know many android user would disagree. Maybe that comes down to using one operating system for so long. Hard to go wrong with flagships. I think content creator find iOS more useful and windows user tend to appreciate android more.
Regarding iPhone mirroring - you have to try Windows Phone Link with that S24 Ultra. Besides the "keeps your iPhone locked" it is even better. Having several Apps from the S24 streamed to your Windows same time. Universal copy, transferring media and so on...
The iPhone mirroring does just mirror your iPhone, judging from the demo. With phone link you can have multiple apps open at the same time. That’s why. But you have a point. Let’s just wait for the final product.
I'm sticking with the iPhone and I can't wait to get the new iPhone to replace my 14 Pro Max so that I can use USB-C. And yes, AirDrop is a life-saver for transferring files to your Mac. Personally, despite mentioning that it's less of a hassle, who would want to keep switching platforms everytime when you have other responsibilities. iOS and Android have their own issues so just get used to one unless you are a tech reviewer.
I think swapping back when the new iPhone’s released is a good plan. And then maybe do the same again when the S25 gets released? Benks cases look good, but I’m not a full case fan. I got my Product Red 13 Mini on purpose, so a bumper, grip and wrist strap are my accessories of choice. Also, the battery banks look great, but no stand? I use mine to charge my iPhone and trigger standby mode. “It just works!” Thanks, as always.
I missed the iPhone, so bought a 15 pro. However, the 15 pro overheats all the time, and I’m in the uk where the weather is awful, I dread to think what using it in the heat would be like.
I am in the UK and have the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and haven’t had any overheating issues at all.Sure,it gets a bit warm when I have a shed load of apps to update and rather warm in direct sunlight but not really hot and that will happen with any smartphone.
@davidjacobs6244 I had the 15 pro max before going to the s24 ultra, that heated up, however, nowhere near the heart of the standard 15 pro. When connected to apple car play and streaming music it gets so hot I have to hold it in front of the air con vents. Sadly, there is no exaggerating here, it really is that bad.
I just received my galaxy book 4 edge with the new Qualcomm chip yesterday and was playing with the nearby share feature with my s24 ultra. The symbiosis between the galaxy devices is really great. If you were ever to make the switch to windows I'd love to see how it compares to apple's version.
I have the S24 Ultra and I had the S23 Ultra before that, and I absolutely love them both. In fact, I also had the S21Ultra and a bunch of Samsung phones before that, along with plenty of iPhones. Yes, I have a problem 😂. But I must admit that as far as computers, go I do prefer MacOS over Windows, especially when it comes to laptops - my preferred form factor. I actually just this week swapped back to a MacBook Pro after trying an i9 Core Ultra Asus Zenbook Duo a couple of months. And I just... I guess really do prefer MacOS, and now seeing how much tighter the already awesome integration is about to become between the iPhone And MacOS... I've got a feeling I'll be getting an iPhone 16 Pro. We'll see... We'll see.
Always interesting to see various views. A couple of years ago I went from the iPhone 12 to the S22 Ultra. Very impressive piece of tech, but 5 months later I switched to the iPhone 14 Pro. Partly size - 6.8" is huge - but I found that the iphone just worked for me (simply because it'd been using one for 5 years) and the extra features of Android are not important to me. For convenience, I like the Apple walled garden these days! I am quite envious of the S24 Ultra though. Not that I'd want to use it as my primary device, but as a piece of kit it looks really cool.
I have the IPhone 15 pro max. I am steeped in the Apple ecosystem. My main driver is the M4 iPad Pro which replaced the iPad Pro I had used for years, I use Apple TV, I have an M2 MacBook and an IPad mini in my office. I have the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and I use CarPlay every day. I could not change at this point because I enjoy the seamless process between devices. I use AirPod pros and max. No Vision Pro for me at this point.
@@SIHRA2 Interesting I thought my s24u, s9 ultra & buds worked just the same as my old apple eco system to be fair if not nicer because of the big displays I was shocked how far Samsung have come
I just do the MKBHD thing and keep an iPhone and an Android phone on me at all times. Though the iPhone is my primary and the Android is for general media consumption and Fortnite lol
I jumped from Apple to Samsung and back to Apple. I left when the Note 9 came out, when to the S10, S10+, Note 20 ultra 5G. I really like the Note 20 Ultra. Went back to Apple when the 13 came out. I only went back because I couldn’t sent HD photos or videos to my friends and family, who all used iPhones. I’m thinking of going back to Samsung, because Apple is supposed to be supporting RCS messaging this fall.
Great review Mark. It doesn’t annoy me you’ll go back to iPhone. I’ve done exactly the same having switched to S24 Ultra from iPhone 15 Pro Max back in January. Can’t wait for the iPhone 16 Pro … thanks for your honesty … makes total sense what you say
THE BIG Question is Mark... if you had neither and had to buy one today which would you pick and why? (I have both before anyone thinks I'm biased) 6:39
I own the 13 Pro Max. The very small upgrades by Apple in the 14 and 15 haven’t swayed me into upgrading. I do like the look of the S24 Ultra, and the Pixel 8 Pro BUT…I’m not sure on leaving iOS and as you said in this video, I just find iOS so smooth and simplistic to use. I own an Apple Watch 8 and an IPad Pro. No Mac, so I don’t have to worry about that.
People switch all the time… you have the freedom to do so.. that’s the beauty of the free market and the freedom to choose especially in a competitive market with innovation. We the consumer always win. Pick what you like and be happy🔥💯
Hi Mark, I followed the same journey as you. But after buying the iPad Pro 11 M4, because I was scammed for my iPad Pro m1 . I decided to go back to my 15pro Max. There were a few things that made me go back, plus all my family are locked into the apple eco system. Don’t get me wrong I loved the S24 ultra and the customisation etc. But iPhone still is the easier to use.
For me a stylus is a necessary feature. As an american who is 6 ft 5 inches tall and having hands the size of a dinner plate i find often that a stylus is needed at times for selecting certain things on screen. My big fingers when on a website selecting checkout have many times caused me to select unwanted items and adding them to my cart for instance. Having the stylus stored in the phone is a god send to me as ive never lost one yet unlike those cheap ones you can buy for any phone. Ive tried to use my daughters iphone and maybe im just to old but i can never figure it out. Im only 41 but i have to take the phone to my daughter to switch between apps or screens or even to go back to another screen. Android is just so much simpler for me. Having the three bar to bring up all open windows and having a back button are a must as it makes it so much easier even a child can do it. I also like android because i like the idea of being able to have my phone serviced anywhere i want if it needs repair and not being stuck with certified repair shops as that leads to astronomical markups and if you dont pay that they brick your phone. No thanks. I know some people have no problem woth that but me personally if i pay as much for my phone as a cheap used daily driver car i should be able to use that phone any way i choose and add or repair parts with any products i want not just the manufacturerers parts. I also like being able to take my old phones that are still plenty useful and root them to aftermarket operating systems and repurpose them for other projects which you cannot do on iphone. For instance i have an old note 10 ultra that is still capable of running anything modern with no problem so it gets loaded with games and is also the gps tracker for my electric scooter. I have quick release pins on the deck of the scooter so i can lock it inside and if its ever stolen i can track it to right where its at and retrieve it. Because the phones unlocked i use it with a very cheap basic prepaid service sim card and it only costs me about $10 a month which is 50% cheaper than most gps tracking devices monthly service costs. As far as i know you cannot do things like that with an old iphone. To each their own though. Im not a fan of being told what i can and cannot do with something i spent my own hard earned money on.
@bxnym surprisingly yes. I hold it between 3 fingers at the bottom and the top coming out between my two fingers for stability. Kind of dissappear but works.
Hi Mark, you mention in the review which is the best screen saver for the S24 Ultra but you don't say what it is! I cannot find it in the description either? Any help would be great as this is the one thing that puts me off going to this phone. Thanks Nick
I'm getting my S24 Ultra tomorrow, I've had a tendency to switch between the 2 every 4 years or so, this time I just feel the iPhone 16 is going to leave me feeling a bit meh. I had a great deal on the S24, only going to cost me £734 brand new from Samsung, I couldn't really say no so I'm going to try that for a year and see what the iPhone 17 has to offer next September!
Went from a 13pro to an S23 ultra and 4 months later here I am typing this message on a 15pro max 😂 I agree Samsung make the best screens! But the software is just so much smoother and works so much better than Android IMO ✌️
Appreciate the honesty Mark! I do think that iOS 18 with the ability to customise the phone more will likely reduce the gap that's always existed for the Android guys that wanted to try iOS but saw that as a dealbreaker. These customisation options might just be enough to keep those of us who got bored with the iOS look and feel happy enough without the need to explore the dark side 🤣. I'm fortunately or unfortunately so vested in the world that switching is very unlikely.
I just did the switch too and never going back to iPhone. I love this Galaxy S24 Ultra. I had more bugs on my 14 and 15 Pro Max that I ever had on any Android phone. As far as fluidity and all that stuff it's about the same. Talk to text is horrendous on Apple that's what drew me away I just spoke this whole comment without one correction, if I've been using my iPhone I would have had to correct 17 words already
Great iphone video and advertisement. My daughter's have iphones. I use Samsung. I have the fold 6 and find iphone difficult to use. The back button for instance. It's not uniformed at all. On some sites it's in the top left hand corner. On other sites it's in a different location. Why? I use my phone for everything including investing, constant money transfers between U.S. and Euro accounts etc...I need 2 - 3 windows open most times, so multitasking or multiple windows 🪟 at the same time is extremely important. When I'm on the run, my phone is folded. When I'm stationary and need to get things done, it's unfolded. I use it for conference calls and use it in a different folded orientation then so I don't have to hold the phone. I personally ( just speaking for myself) can not do anything productive with an iphone. It's great for Instagram or playing around with, but for it's price I would need it to be able to be more than fun.
Honestly at this point I don't understand why people keep buying Apple phones. Same thing year after year and miles behind Samsung. I used to love them but wouldn't have one for free now. Without the whole 'eco system' it's nothing in my opinion. Great video!
After 7 years of using Samsung flagships only, I switched to Iphone mainly because of poor camera experience on Samsung devices. Not that there aren't many other problems present (weak vibration since S22 series, inconsistent updates, One UI bugs...). I have zero regrets really, most of the apps I use just work better on Iphone.
It's alright, Mark. It doesn't matter which you use. If your content is more towards iOS, then it's understandable you prefer an iPhone. Like you said, you're a content creator, so switching from one to the other is normal. Cheers!
I have used Android for more than 10 years. Lately I've really been wanting to get an Apple Watch--I have the Galaxy Watch 6 classic LTE, and honestly, it's about as useful as strapping a brick to your wrist. But every time I look at Android vs iPhone features, I can't bring myself to make the switch.
Give it a try. Iphones have a lot of features but it’s like you have to watch the right TH-cam channels to discover them. I miss Samsung sometimes but I think iOS 18 will bring alot
if you dont care for multitasking, DEX etc then go iphone. I have a watch ultra and galaxy watch 6 classic LTE, the apple watch is generations ahead in speed and apps, but the galaxy watch is good enough for me, the main device is the phone.
I took the plunge when the iPhone 15 pro max was released, I had the s22 ultra + watch 5 + buds pro. I was a bit worried about not getting along with iOS cause I’ve been with android for 8 years straight but no problems at all. Now I have the 15 pro max + watch series 9 + iPad 10th gen. I put my iPad on the iOS 18 beta and it’s great. I’d highly recommend giving Apple a shot, they’ve come a long way 😊
...remember with Android you have a wide choice of watch e.g. Garmin, Samsung, Google etc. depending on your needs; with Apple Watch you're stuck in the Apple walled garden
Just be a 2 phone person, use both android and iphone, best of the both worlds. I am an app developer, not just for phones, and all desktop os too, so it's a must, and I carry 2 phone majority of the week. But if we are talking about eco system, iPhone/Mac combo is reliable and unbeatable.
I have just purchased the S24 Ultra and am currently using the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Looking forward to changing. Is there a good video to watch that will make my life easier to switch all of my information?
I don't ever see the "smoothness" etc thing. Em I use the GFs 14pro and she this Moto Edge 30 Ultra, same release date and so far comparison. Neither of us see either of this. Both phones are fast and work fine without glitches. The one interaction smoothness we both agree on is the navigation consistency on the Moto/Android.
No I won't be switching from Apple. I do have a Samsung Note 9 as a second device, but I hardly ever use it. I am entrenched in the Apple eco system. Iphone, iMac, Macbook Pro, Apple Tv, iCloud, Apple Music, etc etc. Airdrop is massive for me. Yes, I know there are work arounds, but it's just seamless. I have looked at the S24 Ultra and it looks an amazing phone. But there's just not enough reason to change.
The screen mirroring thing should have already existed in the "ecosystem". That and more exists already and works great cross platform and cross brand. Ie 9 year old Windows 10 Gamjng Laptop and Motorola Edge, get that and more. Screen mirroring (and use the phone separately at same time). Drag and drop, copy and paste, individual multiple apps casting, automatically creates a local drive of the phone, side by side screen continuum of each, remote webcam with ai smarts etc. Plus a full desktop experience solo like Dex. It's odd to me that the "ecosystem" is talked up and then one heres about new features that didn't exist but others already use across brands 🤷♂️
I haven’t owned a Samsung smartphone since the Note 5, but do they still have the dual software that cannot be removed from their devices and always wants you to update it?
My pixel 7 pro is my everyday, it does everything and more. However my filming camera is a 14 pro because it has the better video quality. however it is a bit of a ballache when it comes to editing on my laptop which is a windows. but yes I go with work arounds and thats just how it is when it comes to working on a budget (I don't just have a couple of thousand to drop on a macbook). Realistically for every day use a flagship phone isn't what everyone needs and if you do have one you rarely use every avaliable feature so it becomes a case of figuring out what you needs to use a smartphone for and buying accordingly and that could end up being a far cheaper phone which could be an android or it could be lower spec'd iphone.
Have you noticed when you send a video to a iPhone user that it is clear. with older androids the are blurry because iPhone videos are higher resolution.
I would disagree on this one thing. I never used any of my android devices and felt like an app would crash or I am navigating to the wrong place. "I often feel" like that is happening ios vs on me using android.
Continuity and AirDrop between my Mac and iPhone have never been reliable. There are countless instances where they just don’t recognize each other, and this has been an issue since these features were introduced, even with the latest hardware. The only thing keeping me from ditching the iPhone is the Apple Watch. I genuinely believe that the Mac, AirPods Pro, and Apple Watch (Ultra) are Apple’s best products, far superior to alternatives. But the iPhone is the most boring and uninspiring Apple product I own and use.
Ok… 2 questions: What about Apple Photos? I have 10 years of pics in iCloud. How bad is that to transition? And Apple Pay. I use the Apple Card exclusively for the 3% cash back when I use Apple Pay. I wonder how that would work with Google/Samsung?
The S24 Ultra is a sweet phone, no doubt. It's VERY impressive. Excellent cameras and the 8 Gen 3 is impressive as hell. I have the vanilla S24 and I like it a lot. My main is the 14 Pro Max and will be for the foreseeable future. I really like Apple's ecosystem, especially since I switched to iPhone with the 11 Pro Max. I loved that size, these phones are too damn big! All that said, you can't go wrong with the Ultra and personally, I wouldn't try to discourage anyone from switching. I just tell them to keep in mind that when switching, there is a learning curve.
They are all so similar. Apart from Android people generally hate Apple and Apple users and wish them death, whilst Apple users are like “you use android, great cool, does it matter?” Coool review as always.
First off, you're absolutely right about moving being so easy especially if you use Whatsapp for messaging like I do. Secondly, I'm super annoyed that you've made an entire video shot only on a damn smartphone that looks better than every single video I've made with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I think you owe me a video explanation on how to do better 😜
I am still very much in love with Apple, for their vision, their aesthetics, and how they give life and personality to their devices. However, there is one fatal flaw that has driven me to use the Samsung Fold and Tab. There is no way to enlarge non-dynamic fonts. Evernote is one of the apps I use most on my devices, and the font size for notes on Evernote are non-dynamic, and are excruciating for my eyes to read. One day, when they finally allow user-adjustment of non-dynamic fonts, and release a folding (please, NOT flipping) phone, I will be back in the Apple world.
The switch from iPhone 13 Pro to Samsung Galaxy was scary at first due to all my family and friends having iMessage, but I’m happy to report I’ll never go back. I feel like I’m no longer in prison and everything is so much better. Stuff just works and if I want to do something, I can. So many apps that don’t cost money and better performance. On iOS it felt like everything was a pita and Apple just didn’t give a rats ass. If you’re considering the switch, go for it!
Yes enjoyed it! 2 comments. Disagree with your Android v iOS solidity one-liner. Did you ever play with Good Lock to appreciate how dull and locked-down iOS is? Second, your needs for AirDrop are very specific. I switched from 14 ProMax to s23 Ultra and just use Google Photos between my Phone and my MBP. No probs.
Totally agree, although I think the locked-down nature of iOS is partly why it's so stable. It's all about compromises in this game. As for the absence of AirDrop, I now do exactly what you do and for my business it's just a _bit_ too slow. Again - specific use cases, as you say!
I’m kind of in the same situation and the iOS 18 comes it will be a lot better. I use the iPhone 13 and pixel 7a. I’m thinking of selling my 13 but I want to keep my Apple Watch 7. Ohh well first world problems lol. Anyway loves your posts bro keep going.
The real question for me is, was the switch to the S24 Ultra in order to gain the best screen available on a phone and a great camera system worth the negatives that you pointed out? 1. The faff of changing to another OS in the first place; 2. The lack of integration with all of your other Apple products (not just the Mac); 3. The perceived instability of Android which reduces your confidence in it day to day. I would objectively suggest probably not. Is the screen so much better that the iPhone screen looks like a spud in comparison? Is the camera system, 5 or 10 times better than that of the iPhone? Given that you are not using the most unique feature (s-pen) and probably never intended to, has it been worth it?
@@amany5383 the question wasn’t about me, and it wasn’t directed at you either. I’m not entirely sure where the petulant aggression on your part has come from. Oh, and I love my Pixel 7a.
I don't think phone reviewers emphasize the lack of innovation with apple enough. Yes, apple has seamless integration but what is new between the iPhone 13 and the 15? Usb-C?
It looks like the "cheap" hotel in mid London. That you just picked up the S24U to go to Paris for a Samsung event. It looks suspicious since you say you have used it for 2 months since you just picked up a review copy? Please explain.
Yo, Switch from 14 pro max to s23 ultra no problem easy. The scree is marvelous the key point for me. The rest is equal in many ways android is good nowdays. I d say maybe i agree with you the general fluidity is better on the iphone. Sometimes the s23 ultra has a bit of lag... But enjoy the experience and like you i will go back to the iphone maybe for the 16! I wish they gave us 120 hertz on the regular iphone! A whooping 1000 for 60 hertz is a shame ! Come on apple! I'm french sorry for my bad english 😅 and ciao ciao
I bet he won't come back to iphone as main phone ( out of reviewing it). Especially if he switches to windows and starts using more one ui features like I've done for example..

I would like to have a proper keyboard as on Android in iOS. The apple keyboard is crap when you are using different language than english plus missing number raw. I dont know why apple is not changing anything related to keyboard. Seems like they are closed in US world... Now im in between to choose S24 Ultra, 15 Pro Max or Xperia 1 IV.
PLEASE HELP ME!! i constantly go between ios and android, its driving me nuts !!!. i have S24U, 24Plus, Iphone 15 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic LTE, Apple Watch Ultra. gaming wise the 24 Ultra is king, but Ios games are better optimised. i love the multtasking of Android and the feel of ths IOS. i need to make a decision soon as need to sell the devices and save my bank account.

Hi! Why is it always necessary to prove, to oppose, who uses which operating system, why is it constantly fought and or belittled⁉️ Isn't it possible and natural that different operating systems are used and enjoyed, that people have many different variants and different technologies possible? and their qualities and knowledge and experiences are simply shared and helped and discussed? I use both operating systems, I have an iphone and I replaced my galaxy s24 ultra with a new Xperia 1 VI. This technology The world is exciting to explore, experiment, discover! Why it does matter what phone Mark use? I don’t get the human behavior towards an object. It is not like you have stock or own the company. Is not that serious folks.
Despite how "polished" iOS "seems", Android does a lot more and has many more features and capabilities than iOS does. And iPhones in general are really just "status" symbols for people who worship brands. I have both a Samsung and an iPhone, and if I had to give one up it would be the iPhone...Also the apps in the Google app store work much better than ones from the Apple app store.

Nice - glad you enjoyed the scenery!
Apple users always saying they don't or won't use this or that untill apple puts it on iphone then its amazing 😂😂
Exactly 😂
i have both, s24 ultra is king, but somethings about samsung are just unpolished, to me. just look at his video at the start, the jello effect is really bad. iPhone's dont do this. just a bunch of little things that has me waiting for ios 18 to see which will come out on top.
How do you know it’s better? The iPhone mirroring isn’t out yet. How does one make an assessment of a feature that they haven’t even tried yet? lol
I switch every couple of years then I end up switching back every time to iPhone.
but then you switch back to android :)
I'm android native and keep an Iphone as well. I cant see having to choose. Each has different stregnths. So I just walk around with 2 phones.
Can you briefly enumerate what you prefer or use either one for?@@brianjohnson9368
Same here!
Just use both but main one
I think swapping back when the new iPhone’s released is a good plan. And then maybe do the same again when the S25 gets released?
Benks cases look good, but I’m not a full case fan. I got my Product Red 13 Mini on purpose, so a bumper, grip and wrist strap are my accessories of choice.
Also, the battery banks look great, but no stand? I use mine to charge my iPhone and trigger standby mode. “It just works!”
Thanks, as always.
I swith back and forth all of the time. Recently from a 15pro max to the Ultra 24, and I like it very much.
We'll see.
i think we need to start a support group for people like us that keep swicthing!
Love your videos! I was a Windows/Android user for years. Switched to Apple in late 2022. (never going back.)
Sunk to the nuts in Apple mate, same as me.
their both as good as each other, both with their pros and cons, im currently have a S24U and still holding my iphone 15pro just in case.
@@SIHRA2 Interesting I thought my s24u, s9 ultra & buds worked just the same as my old apple eco system to be fair if not nicer because of the big displays I was shocked how far Samsung have come

Thanks for posting this video
But what good is the stylus if your hand would just cover the whole sPen...like can you still even hold it lol
Thanks Nick
As someone who has never had the apple eco system or any apple product 🙄, I love my Samsung 8+ tablet , Samsung s24 ultra and galaxy watch 4 😊😊
The mirroring, files, notification integration exists for Android in ChromeOS currently. I think it works for Windows as well.
Great video mark. Have you made a video for anyone switching over from iOS to Samsung with tips on how to adapt
Gotta love London -
Can’t wait for the iPhone mirroring to Mac one of the biggest feature updates for macOS in a long time
It's alright, Mark. It doesn't matter which you use. If your content is more towards iOS, then it's understandable you prefer an iPhone. Like you said, you're a content creator, so switching from one to the other is normal. Cheers!
I have s24U .. i love it..
i was using apple for 5 years!!
But here in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 society don’t account android users
Where can I find your wallpaper you have on your s24u! Ive been looking all over for it!!
I have just purchased the S24 Ultra and am currently using the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Looking forward to changing. Is there a good video to watch that will make my life easier to switch all of my information?
Nice to hear you will be back eventually to iPhone! I’m also excited for new macOS!
That banks case looks good 😍 I don’t like those slits in the corners tho they let dirt in
I haven’t owned a Samsung smartphone since the Note 5, but do they still have the dual software that cannot be removed from their devices and always wants you to update it?
Lol yh this question doesn't make any sense. Stick to ios 😅
Realistically for every day use a flagship phone isn't what everyone needs and if you do have one you rarely use every avaliable feature so it becomes a case of figuring out what you needs to use a smartphone for and buying accordingly and that could end up being a far cheaper phone which could be an android or it could be lower spec'd iphone.
im getting a s23 soon cant wait
The video first started not going to lie Mark I thought you was on the toilet 😂😂😂
😬
Wait…. So he wasn’t in the toilet ?
can you edit s24 ultra videos in iMovie directly?
Have you noticed when you send a video to a iPhone user that it is clear. with older androids the are blurry because iPhone videos are higher resolution.
I would disagree on this one thing. I never used any of my android devices and felt like an app would crash or I am navigating to the wrong place. "I often feel" like that is happening ios vs on me using android.
One trick I use I add my mac as a server on my wifi so I can share files from apple devices to other devices 4:21
You can always use both.
Ok… 2 questions:
What about Apple Photos? I have 10 years of pics in iCloud. How bad is that to transition?
And Apple Pay. I use the Apple Card exclusively for the 3% cash back when I use Apple Pay. I wonder how that would work with Google/Samsung?
Cashback with Apple Pay? Thats US only, isn't it?
Apple Photos: they're all still there, but I actually prefer Google Photos.
Apple Pay =.Google Pay.
Love my s24u and also never use the spen since note days haha
In America at least, using an android will get you made fun of.
It’s not an easy swap. Especially when so many people use the iOS txt
Life and personality on an Apple phone 😂 they're literally all the same.
I'm switching to 16 pro and I have note 10 plus and z flip 3.
Cheapest new galaxy is 1/8 the cost of cheapest iphone. Those of us with light use can't justify the cost differential.
WE are now in 2024 not 2011 apple fan boy
@@amany5383 the question wasn’t about me, and it wasn’t directed at you either. I’m not entirely sure where the petulant aggression on your part has come from. Oh, and I love my Pixel 7a.
It was to add some weight to my claim that this is the best smartphone I've ever used ;)
I don't think phone reviewers emphasize the lack of innovation with apple enough.
Yo,
Switch from 14 pro max to s23 ultra no problem easy.

What bloatware? Samsung's don't come with bloatware and any pre installed programs can be disabled or uninstalled.
@@Fozzee.1970 not all the pre-installed apps. Disabling them isn't as nice as being able to delete them. Why do they do this? It's not just samsung it's all androids.

And a lot of people have some big complexes where they're afraid to say what phone they're using, and a lot of people feel like they're being suppressed in this constant fight and competition and mockery of who's the "android fanboy, who's the apple fanboy , what a samsung fan boy”, this is just an unintelligent behavior! Just take joy and pride in learning about different phones and other technologies and then sharing your knowledge and experience! Until about 20 years ago, people didn't really have any choices! This is my description, knowledge and experience, it doesn't have to be suitable for others! Thank you!
Why it does matter what phone Mark use? I don’t get the human behavior towards an object. It is not like you have stock or own the company. Is not that serious folks.
You can do the same thing with a Samsung phone on a Windows Laptop.
Windows. Mate.
nice points 👍😊🙏. london😍
