Plug your power supply into the wall don’t use any extension cords
EVERYONE! SOLUTION RIGHT HERE:
My g29 would not calibrate in ps4 mode but worked if i switched betwen ps3-ps4.
The reason is the cables that goes from the base to the wheel breaks. I did a continuity test on the eight small cables and the green one was off. I soldered a cable temporarily and then it worked!
If you have another problem another cable might be off, the blue, black etc.
The problem has nothing to do with comparability,
It was not very difficult, give it a try.

If it's a problem with constant spinning/calibrating, I think this will work. If it's a problem with NO spin/cal ... then it is an issue with the wheel's power source/plug. The buttons will work through ps4 power, the motor needs it's own.

Just unplug the wheel power and plug it again while the ps4 is on i was having this problem and none of these steps worked but i decided to go and do the on and of thing and it worked have a nice day

@@michael09binis25 your camera is in auto focus, if you use manual focus it will sometimes prevent the image from becoming blurry due to steering wheel movements.

One key feature I forgot to do when I just set up my Logitech was plug in the ac adaptor. The moment I did that the racing wheel recalibrated and started spinning in a 360o degree angle on its own and my hand got in the way. It works fine now. I probably didn’t have to reboot my PS4 database. 😂😂😮😮😮😮😮😳😳😳

I done this very thing. It worked. I was playing two nascar games. Frankly they were pissing me off. So I deleted the two games. Then after boredom, I decided to reinstall them. Well now after recognizing it, it starts the game but won't when it has start at bottom for some reason. So I done it again, but so far having no luck. all good but the X. And it won't work without it. Crazy stuff.

I found out how, the cable that plugs into the wheel that goes into the wall, it will have a transformer block on it, and if either of the ends going into that block are loose, then that's your problem

Plugging the steering wheel directly into the wall instead of an extension cable, then rebuilding the database of the PS4 resolved the issue for me.
Thijmen how can u plug the steering wheel into a wall when it only goes usb

Thanks, this video helped fixed my calibration problem for my G29 Logitech wheel. I bought a new power adapter because the cord was smashed flattened underneath the wheel.
sameee, i removed the steering wheel og the table and the pedals cable was smashed
Also make sure the switch on the very top of the wheel is set in ps4 mode, not ps3

For the people who’s wheel won’t spin, make sure you have it in the wall outlet and not in an extension, otherwise its not gonna work

Hello, my steering keeps spinning of turning to one side ( right when you open it up or when it tries to calibrate on start up ) one side only.
If you try to play a game it turns to the left in circles. The ps4 switch light keeps blinking instead of it being stable. The led lights are stagnant instead of the normal lighting system. Also the wheel seem to turn more than 3 times to one direction probably about 4 or more before it seizes.
When you turn the game on, there are two wheels. So one does the normal turning to the right and and back to the left, the one with the issue turns to the right and doesn’t turn back. It seems to keep turning to right / or not able to fully turn to the right to turn back, it’s as if it’s hitting something or being stopped physically.
What to do ?

Hi, my wheel has a response time delay with respect the game on PS4 (time lag - it takes a few seconds until the move applies to the game). I am scared of rebuilding the database as I might lose all data and settings. IS there any tips or remedies from your side. Thanks.

Why is the the wheel set up like a a tractor or a bus? You need it angled towards you more vertical.

I have problem only in F1 2019 my steering wheel get discentered while driving so in the beggining it works perfectly fine after some laps it decenter it and i have to turn steering wheel to left or right to go straight what should i do? i already deleted f1 2019 and tried it again

Mine does this for pc. I uploaded Logitech app and calibrated it, but when I get ready to calibrate the wheel after I've gotten on the race screen, the wheel has no ffb at all. Do you know a fix for this?

It did work actually, what my problem was is that the power cord that Connects the wheel to the power outlet was not enter the hole the correct way so I cleaned it and it ended up working try cleaning the power cord and the hole it enters
I'm really a moron, I was stressing the whole time that my steering wheel doesn't work, I did all the procedures according to the video, then I read one comment, I looked to see if the steering wheel was plugged in, the steering wheel was disconnected from the wall, so you better make sure you have the basics .

QUESTIONS: when you turn off the PS4, how is the G29 still on & if I’m correct you are pressing the turn on button from the PS4 right?

I just got this and the shifter for my son...but i feel a good amount of input lag on ps5. Haven't tried with pc yet, but we are planing to use it on ps5 anyway... any idea how to fix the input lag?
You need to plug the usb end into your pc and download the Logitech firmware update or the Logitech gaming software application, then it should work on every racing game you have basically

Guys if this doesn’t work the there is a block on a cord which plugs in check if it’s plugged in if not put that cord with the two circles in that little slot on the that block your welcome if it works!

When i press the mode button, it doesnt work. I connected it to the controller and the console, but it doesnt work. The controller doesnt show blue light.

You plugged it in the power aswell right, not just the usb....? Does it show up in the game's options / controller menu ?

Ive recently owned g29 and it was working fine on f1 2021 ps5 till ive installed gran turismo ps4 version, force feedback broken in f1 2021 but works fine in gran turismo. Ive triedrestart, clear cache, database rebuild, reinstall f1 but nothing worked. Any idea how to fix this ffb issue?

I have PS4 with G29 since a few weeks. Till now every time I connected the usb it recalibrated itself. I didn't know if I should connect/disconnect usb every time I play the game though. Now it doesn't recalibrate when connecting the usb. I follow switching on the safe mode with option rebuild database but it still doesn't recalibrate. What else should I do to make it work?

Ok so I followed the instructions and I put into restore database and nothing happened my ps4 started the Logitech was not collaborating it was not spilling everything was connected like cmon
