In this mpc live mk2 beatmaking tutorial video I go over the latest update mpc 2.11.6 and check out the new air flavor pro plug in with some sample-based production. this mpc tutorial shows how i chop up samples from msxaudio and come up with a sample beatmaking flip in the mpc live mkII.

I do admit I haven’t tried this Flavor Pro but it seems like it’s cool. The SP Efx are so nice and give character to samples that just make me happy. The MPC is definitely easier and nicer for sequencing on though. Together they are really special.
I know exactly that feeling. My SP is something I would never get rid of due to the amazing sound it has, but I’m not going to lie. This flavor pro is definitely putting up a match to it. I’m still gonna be messing with it a bit more later on but it’s holding up very nice for someone that cannot have the combo of both machines

@@malobeats i share a similar work flow like you-- i Do Not like using a DAW at all in the creation process. The fact that this plugin/vst is built into Standalone after i downloaded it is a game changer. it is however way over priced considering i have been using Akai for 6 years.... it's worth it 4sure tho Endless possibilities

I grabbed the Flavor Pro and I love IT!!! Yeah its like RC-20 but Flavor FEELS more Hip Hop to ME. Got the trial version of Mini D...Think I'm going to pull the trigger and keep it...Its DOPE.

For me air flavor pro fire 🔥 it’s worth every penny especially at the reduced price $. As for Mpc problems with updates, my workflow is like yours so I haven’t had any problems that affect my work flow on the mpc one . I just hear about them but not experiencing any of them like you stated .

2 cents:
1). I had a dream about sp404 (lol jk) I'm definitely getting one primary for the effects. Air flavor pro is like air flavor on steroids. Air flavor is hands down my fav plug in. Even with minimal settings I still use air flavor on almost everything 😁. Air flavor pro I would consider to get but as a luxury with everything I already have going on.
2). I'm a sucker for analog bass from hardware. However, while my moog werkstatt is getting fixed I've been forced to explore different bass sounds within the sample packs that I have. I've actually made a program preset of bass samples using the Gold dust pack, which has been really cool esp using the amp sim and filters.

3). Recording audio and converting into keygroups literally brought me new life 🙏🙏 also using sends and returns aslo have been really nice esp using amp sim and reverb effects 💫

Mini D Was Love At First Sight, One Listen Was All It Took... Its the SUBLAB 2XL Of The STANDALONE Game So I Bought This Right Away... AirFlavor Pro I Picked Up Yesterday When I Saw How Its Being Compared To RC-20 VST Which Is Hugely Popular Of Course But That's 99 Dollars Last I've Checked, Plus Again... The Thought of having These Inside A TRULY STANDALONE Unit, It's A NO Brainer... BUY THESE, They Are A MUST HAVE When Compared To EVERYTHING ELSE.
Can you do a video where you utilize the diode clipper, standard flavor, vintage modes, and amp simulator to get a similar result to flavor pro? I feel like its essentially those mixed with more options

i followed all the steps from akai .
when i trie to activate, i get the message : couldnt validate license from the server (license status 8)
They want my money, but they can't fix my bounce to sample

Bounce to Sample is not working anymore since 2.11.6 when using mini d for example..

I’ve been creating a preset comparing the 404 versus this plug-in and it’s pretty close so far but not quite the same. I think the $80 is worth it versus $600 for a 404.
Do you have a video or advice on a correct way of sampling live instruments into the mpc live 2 ? Should I run it through a mixer then to the Akai ?
Keep it simple I say but either would be ok. More importantly would be getting a clear signal in from the instrument. Experimenting is the best way imho. The MPC has more than enough processing ability and probably more effects than most mixers. Good luck 👍🏼
Bro I have just bought ''Drums From The Bungalow Vol. 3'' inside there are no drums you are using (VA BEACH KICK) and other sounds :(
The air pro is real dope fore the stand alone no doubt. But when you hit the Daw like Logic, Abelton and Protools that's when you break out the big guns The real Rc20 the waves ,Valhalla etc. So is it worth it for the stand alone yes in my book.
