I’ve just done this mod on my 2100 with solar power and Bluetooth. I don’t know which version I have, but I could not believe the quality of the kit - it’s superb - great fit and finish. And I love the attention to detail, especially the inclusion of the small flat head screws that are consistent with the screws on the bezel. I was able to line up the slots in the horizontal There’s no way the conversation is designed to be a fake Royal Oak, it just using a design feature, but the dial is completely different. Completely transformed my watch into a fantastically classy unit - just buy one!
I have a 5th Gen and love it. I used to collect/ wear 50/52mm invictas so this seemed a little small at first. But now that I appreciate smaller watches I love the look/ size of the casioak mod.
I did the same combination actually. I have to say, I’m still loving this and it’s been my daily for weeks now. Very comfortable. I hear what you say though, if only they could polish or smooth the edges a bit it would be literal perfection. My wrist is rather thick so it fits me perfectly. I love it. BUY THIS MOD! Trust me
just got this mod, and I'm rocking with it on my 5.5 inch lol Looks really big and the same time it's so comftable with a rubber strap so it's fine for my during summer time. look very classy indeed
I will be doing the same thing as soon as the kit is here. Personally, who cares if someone has a modded watch, it's their money. If it's an homage watch, again, their money.
I think it looks great, and it's not trying to trick anybody. The fact that it's obviously a g shock makes it funny enough that I wouldn't have any problem wearing it. It's all about the wearers attitude though. If a guy is wearing it to flex on someone else then I think that's super dumb. But if someone wears it with a bit of tongue in cheek attitude then I think it's totally acceptable.
Just got into watches last October. I’ve never been fully into Casio especially G-Shocks. I’ve slowly eased into Casio with the F-91W and the A168 and love the feel on the wrist. A watch I can wear with confidence and not worried to bump and scratch it! I then looked into G-Shock and I personally like 2 of them. The original square design and also this! I just got the GA-2100-1ADR and I love the looks and feel! Also it is a G-Shock so its basically invincible. I do want to do a lume mod to change the indices to have lume and potentially look to get the Royal Oak looks on it later. Still enjoying the stock feel of it 🤝
I had a large collection (still have 4) G Shock watches and they’re my best watches! I have one Casioak 3 in the making! My G Shock ga110 watches are my every day work watches and my Casioak 2100 watches are my Sunday Churxh Service, toasting the town watches! All my other watch are now for sale!!!
I have a few Rolexes and Omegas. I wouldn’t call myself a collector yet, but I’m building a base. Having said that, I think modifications like this are super cool. The majority of the public have no idea what a Royal Oak is and for those that know, they would recognize what this modded watch is. You’re not going to fool anyone with it, so in my mind, nowhere near the same category as a rep.
As a guy who is barely getting into watches, I don’t see a problem at all. I understand why a watch enthusiast is would tho. I just think it looks dope
That’s probably the only homage I like. An AP for cycling 😃😂 Regarding the point of fakes and whether this is the same as a Steinhart, Lorus, Pagani etc: no. This combo is giving the middle finger to the general craze and hype because it’s obvious this is not an AP. A little bit like the MoonSwatch, only that this was not authorised by Casio and AP. Imagine that though. There would be queues where you’d need police in riot gear and possibly the National Guard.
I was planning on buying already mod, but I saw your video and Im going to make It just bought the watch waiting on the case! In my opinion looks awesome!! Maybe im buying the gold one with rubber black strap.
Word of caution : if you have a small wrist it will have too much overhang and it will look silly. You’ll need at least a 7” wrist to pull it off. Very attractive though.
Nice video, I appreciate the lighting. Which ga2100 is this specifically? I think it's the skeleton -- the ga2100ske-7a? I noticed the hands seem a bit whiter than the ga2100-1a1.

It's a nice looking modification, but it will look good only for those who have bigger and more masculine wrists.. it won't work out for those who have smaller wrists.. I hope there will be better looking mini casioaks with mods later on.. I might try it then.
Please advise, that little hand that points to the day, should it make a full circle or only toggle when you are adjusting it ? I think Mine is broken because it makes a full circle backwards & forwards. Thanks

It looks nice, but it feels like modding the 2100 makes it less of an homage and more of a copy, which is something I don’t particularly support. I’m torn between no go and awesome.
Hey! My wrist is about 7.25-7.5 inch. It should fit you, you should be able to remove enough links, the only concern is that because of the nature of the bracelet, you may finding it to sit up a bit on your wrist
Not bad! Just subscribed! It does look OK, though as a watch fan and a G-Shock fan too, I was pretty disappointed to see such an iconic brand lower themselves to copy some other watch. G-Shock is out there on its own with lots of great classic designs. They shouldn't have jumped on the Royal Oak bandwagon along with other less innovative brands. Having said that, it's a very nice mod, though the bracelet is too stiff. It's not a fake, (I would never support the criminal enterprises who make fake watches), but it is a homage which is fine. I just think that Casio should not have made them.

They have their own unique design. I have more than 30 G-Shock watches , but I'm not interested in the Casioak . It's not a G-Shock inspired design. But if you like it, that's OK. Not everyone has the same opinion. It would be a boring world if we did. 🙂

I believe the screws on the bezel are taking it way too far. That is a look reserved for the 40k watch, looks corny to copy it for cheap.
If i see anyone with such a watch i would see that he is into watches and likes to switch things up

Pretty much every Citizen watch is a budget version of a $1000+ luxury watch which is why they are my favorite brand

Prices have jumped on the G shocks. Think because supply issue but I paid 145$ for the 2100 usually its 99$ Just be aware.
