This is the best tutorial on how to setup and use the GA-2100. I got one a week ago and had no clue on how to calibrate the hands. Really useful to know how to get the hands out of the way of the display as well. The speed and detail of your tutorial is great!

Useful tip when you are in the world time zone mode, you do not have to wait until the city name finishes scrolling to display the time. You can skip this animation and display the time instantly by pressing the adjust button once. Another tip is if you accidentally click the mode button or are in a mode setting and you want to quickly go back to home without continuously pressing the mode button, you can press and hold the mode button to take you back to home quickly.

A useful tip for the hand shift function: press the light button FIRST and then the MODE button. It's more effective than trying to do it simultaneously.
Also, do exactly the same to return them to their regular position. There is no need to click the mode button, as this function works independently.
Does this watch have a chronometer function?? Where it counts up from zero, not a countdown
Yes, it's called Stopwatch and you can find the time code for that function in the description

I picked up the mid size today, but since it's the same as the Ga 2100 function wise, your video came in very handy. These watches are great and G-shocks to boot! How can you go wrong? Great video.

Are there any difference with the Japanese model? I have a different model G shock from Japan. On that watch the Japanese version has multi band 6 sonic time keeping, but the USA version did not.

I just had to re-set for DST and again your video makes something that seems kind of intimidating, very clear and easy. I thank you again sir!!
What I took away from this Video:
1. You can go up
2. You can go down
3. You can speed-scroll
This is simple but can be a little tricky at first. I picked up both a ga2100 red and gab2100 blue. The Bluetooth and the higher quality buckle makes the newer version the best option for me. However the RED is only available in the older version.

Thanks for this video! Mine just came today, and the one I got was a Japanese import model and the manual had basically every language except for English in it. I was struggling hardcore with figuring everything out on my own. I'm not used to watches that you can't adjust with a crown haha.
Good watch, but not having a Colombian time zone blows my mind!!it has Brazil and Argentina but not Colombia? Makes absolutely no sense wish i knew this before buying

check out 3:30 carefully. even you adjust the hands at 12:00 position, the space between right and left side is not equal. I have ga 2100 1adr. It has same problem. If you have this model, you can also realize this alignment problem when the minute hand at 45 position and some parts of dial. As I understand some products have this alignment problems and some doesn't have. It's a manufacture issue. However, it's obvious that ga 2100 serie is so cool and impressive. Thanks for the video.

Just got mine today love it slick and this video saved me time I set it up less than time min the professionals that was in the jury store, couldn’t even set it up. They are having technical shy to come teach them how to set the watches up . I told him to look at TH-cam lol
This makes me grateful for my no date automatics! It's a nightmare how illegible the LCD display is on these. I love the design and everything but having had one for 24 hours the display truly sucks! Grateful for my squares and regular gshocks!

This watch has arrived in my hands and I don't regret buying this watch at all. Honestly, this is the best watch I've ever owned.
The first positive impression when I saw and wore this watch is that the design is very good and it fits my hand very well because the size is not too big but not too small either.
Then my first negative impression was that it took me quite a while to look at this clock because the numerals on the watch were dark too. however, when I use it longer, I don't think this is too much of a problem because this watch has a light display.

I’ve worn the Casio w800 through university 10+ years ago, then since adult life have been switching between a Seiko chrono & the Casio royale ae1200, but this is my first Casio G-shock; quite similar set up/functions to other Casios it seems…
the 2100 is a beautiful watch & I am very satisfied , but I do wish it had time shift & the 4 quick time zones on the home screen without going into WT mode, and I wish it also had a 1-ON (instead of just ON/OFF) feature for the alarms…but can’t have everything! Thanks again!

It would be so awesome to have a worldtime and hometime swap by the press of a button. I think I would go the way to set the HOMETIME to the country I currently visit and the world time to my hometown. THen, when I get back to my real hometown, I switch it back. So 2 switches for each vacation.

What a stupid setup. WTF were they thinking 🤔, not to mention you have to have the fingers of 10 year old. Anyone with big hands this will not be for you….as well make sure you have a 100w LED light, otherwise you’ll need a magnifying device to see the face features 😱
This one was a little too fast to follow.. It's OK if the tutorial videos are a little longer. It's more important to be easy to follow and understand (since they are very dens with information) than shorter.
Humans have a limit to how much information they can process / unit of time (usually normal speed of speach / language) so faster videos are harder to process especially when the speach contains a lot of meaningful information (like different buttons doing different things in different sequences)..
You know you can pause the video right?
@@IsuAsenjo you can also slow it down in the youtube settings. I was just making a suggestion that would make both of these unnecessary. the video was obviously sped up, I'm just saying it's better not to do this.
