Impaling Thrust being so good throughout the whole game reminds me of a quote I read that said:
"When the standard equipment deserves to be standard"
Love it when early game stuff remains viable to the end

I agree that one of the biggest appeals of Elden Ring is how everything is technically viable throughout the game. Some gear is obviously better than others and weapons like the short-sword will never pack as big a punch as some other weapons but if you want to make a challenge run out of it, it's doable.
Thanks to Sax, the Iron Greatsword with Impaling Thrust has become my choice weapon with my favorite build. I like the mundane but effective design of it and it strikes me as the kind of weapon that could one day evolve into a legendary armament.
Like if I were to make an Elden Ring anime, I could picture the Iron Greatsword absorbing a little bit of power from each foe as you plunge it into their chest/eye. Then when you finish off the Elden Beast, thrusting the sword into that crack in its stomach to rip it open and fell the beast, it becomes coated in the Elden Beast's golden blood, unleashing all the power within it and transforming into a truly fearsome god-slaying weapon.

Thanks ya'll who keep watching the slop channel!!! Cuz you watch this crap, here's a main channel update.
I recently finished my NG+7 0 Blessing run which is what I'll be working on this week, jumped in to DLC+ and Holy shit DLC+ adds adds an extra challenge to it all!
2 shotted with all these defensive equipment and morgotts rune...
    Being RL500 doesn't mean shit 😂
The NG+7 0 Blessing vid might flop, but I'll be talking about "💊 addiction" in the intro which should be funny😅

I still don't understand how DLC+ works... It is probably just a low IQ issue but I've had it explained to me before and I just don't get it... Is this an intended feature and apparently it only affects some fights but not others... Why is it even a thing?

@@BBQcheese NG+ has two main purposes overall. First is to let you start the game from the beginning with your preferred build, letting you face early bosses with endgame equipment without you having to track it all down again. Second, each level of NG+ increases the health, damage and defenses of enemies so that way they remain a challenge no matter what level you are and what gear you're using. The higher the NG+ level, the higher the boosts enemies get for those who really want greater challenges.

@@BBQcheese Neither. I just see it's significantly noticeable against DBDL, Rellana and PK. Their health is higher and damage is more brutal. Plus trash mobs health in early parts of the game are like crazy higher. Those larger black ghosts have like 20k health on NG+7 DLC+... like WTF lol.

Thank you but I'm very aware of NG+ scaling that's not what I was referring to.

Yeah, I've been told it has a huge effect on Dancing Lion but Bayle isn't effected at all by it... Quite strange TBH. I seriously wonder if it's even intended.

DON'T MOCK THE 500! I love those higher levels. Don't let the level 150 elitists get you down!
Great job with this guy. You managed defeat the true enemy in this fight: the camera. :P

I have a recommendation i just got shadow of the erdtree and im considering running a charged r2 club build axe talisman, fire scorp charm, ritual sword, and dagger talisman.
Weapon choice just standard club fire infusion (cragblade ash) physic would be charged r2 and fire tear i hear fire dmg is alot better in the dlc would you say this build would be viable?

@@tcdtboc8551 100% viable. I'd change the Ritual Sword with 2 Handed Sword personally. Deflect Hard Tear also goes hard with Great Clubs. You'll destroy stuff with that set up. Also don't sleep on Blade of Mercy Talisman, might be better than dagger tali, i dunno.
I did one recently with the great mace, heavy, crage blade with axe tali, 2 hand, blade of mercy and dagger tali, with charge tear and deflect tear. It slapped hard AF
