The Black Blade is one of my favorite weapon designs. I just love the jagged/broken weapon vibes. Just wish it wasn’t a colossal weapon and the Ash of War was faster.

This is an unexpected but very intriguing build idea. I'll have to experiment with it myself.

I wish you could restore this weapon to its "former glory" like some other weapons in previous FromSoft titles that required additional playthroughs. Maliketh's version is cool but if the player had a godslaying weapon unique only to them would be fitting considering the purpose of the tarnished.

Great gameplay! That’s how I attempted to do this fight before changing to incants. How viable do you think it is to do the same thing with the giant crusher?

Still low key bitter they nerfed Black Blade and Black flame in the dlc… basically shafted my “Successor to the Black Blade” build I made out of respect for my boy, Maliketh.

the rellana fight was awesome, deflecting all the magic arcs then BAM guard counter! i love the deflect tear so much

Crazy how even on a viable heavy load build the Verdigris Discus still isn't optimal. Just unconditional 10% but all four of your talismans are undoubtedly better for the build

8:46 Did anyone else noticed that the Rotten Butterflies damaged Romina? Later in the fight she does the spell again, but it doesn't hurt her. I wonder what happened. Can't find anything on Fextra about it.

I mainly play in heavy load and 2 sheilds, if u know how to play any souls game u can make heavy load viable its not some crazy science

Try a dual wielding eclipse shotel build with the regal omen bairn. Not the strongest build but with the right buffs its actually pretty effective and real stylish.

Maybe a crucible axe Build With deflecting Hard Tear would also be nice 👍🏼 nice Video as always

Can you slap the parry ash of war on a thrusting shield? I just reached the abyssal woods and i feel like that ash on that shield would carry me through.

You turned on your system? Real players don’t even play the game, they just envision victory in their heads. Great video, i wouldn’t have gone as aggressive on PCR as you did towards the end but greed and hubris does us all in.

You know what? This shit actually looks more like a toe to toe fight than those no damage videos out on youtube. When both characters hit eachother like a truck, it feels like they are equals trying their best to come out on top of a messy & brutal brawl.

I love how the DLC made heavyload builds even more viable compared to the base game, where they were already great 🗿
