Pacific Northwest Rail Productions Raritan Valley Line. The only part of the route that’s electrified is Newark Penn to NY Penn. On weekends, RVL trains don’t go to NYP. Instead, they terminate at Newark while remaining in diesel mode. Weekdays have trains to and from NYP. This was a train from NY, hence the mode change.
Rocking out there at the station 🚉
got rick rolled at the end
LOL
Nice Video. Thanks. Man what terrible track conditions. And don`t forget mode change :) seems some train driver forgot about it.
What route was this train running?

Also Highbridge is the end of the line for weekday trains
Strange sound for a diesel -- almost sounds like the reciprocating engine is muffled but the turbo isn't.
The sound of this locomotive is exactly same like 'wdp4'. Trust me, just listen to throttling sound of 'WDP4' locomotive. You won't regret.
Call me crazy, but the WDP4 sounds more like a GP40. I just can’t see the connection of the ALP and WDP. Well, I just can’t hear it.

Then there’s the sound a GE genesis 🤤
@@CaptainTransit the wdp4 is emd powered. So don’t be surprised if it sounds like an end prime mover. Using a 16 cylinder 710 G3B
