i feel like this deck just doesn’t end the game well enough. it grinds fine, but the grind doesn’t really go anywhere unless you like, stick a sheoldred for multiple turns
@@juantwothree45 Idk shoeldred and dred knight was pretty backbreaking. Taking 3 for a turn or two while getting rid of sheo would have left him alive longer at least.
I saw the other version that you published on coolstuffinc which is a bit different (triumph instead of pwk and languish over kaervek plus some other small changes. Which version do you think is better for the Explorer metagame?
I have used this deck in magic arena to get to mythic on explorer, the deck is almost all there, the only thing that isn't transfered is urborg which is annoying but serviceable
Smuggler’s Copter hasn’t been brought to explorer yet. Jim’s idea is to capitalize on all the people brewing with Copter after the recent unbanning. The deck still works, but it’s less advantageously positioned vs the meta in explorer.
@@andrewsmith4827 Ahh, that's what I was missing. Playing Excel the Magicking to have fun with people bringing the scooter back. Can't say I blame him.
I think he said he wasn't sure what the right cards are for the list and that he thought it looked cool and wanted to try it out. That intro was pretty positive about his experience and forward about why he didn't do very well at the tournament. I think you heard what you wanted to hear, not what he said.
Fortunately, as your assuredly miserable existence has hopefully taught you, nobody has to care about your thoughts and/or opinions. Thanks for chiming in on Jim's content so often tho, your obstinate stupidity is actually accidentally helping!

Game one you could have forced a shuffle on sheoldred by fielding them
It was probably more important to set up a defense against their board by playing Trespasser.

@@juantwothree45field would not have taken him off of playing trespasser. Cause field is only negative 2 mana cause the land enters untapped

Nothing makes me want to watch a video less than the Jim Davis “why I lost, and it wasn’t my fault” intro.
I think he said he wasn't sure what the right cards are for the list and that he thought it looked cool and wanted to try it out.
