Glad to see Phoenix. As someone who loves it. Played it in modern, Pioneer, and arena. Sadly, my experience is wild inconsistencies. Some games are great. Some I draw the wrong half of my deck. 40 cards, no Phoenix or 20 cards, and only lands and creatures.
Dont even play Magic anymore, fully switched to Flesh and Blood. I still come back to watch Jim play. It's just fun to watch someone whos entertaining & good at a game to exactly that
The fail rate of Free the Fae according to Hypergeometric Distribution: In a population of 59 (you have to use one of your cards to search for the others) with 32 successful hits (again you have to use one of your hits), a sample of 4 cards containing one or more successful hits has a probability of a little over 96%. So that means it has a 4% failure rate. Now to have that happen twice in a row multiply 0.04x0.04, which gives us a whopping 0.16% probability of that happening. Woof 😂

Armadillo...but honestly I prefer MTGO games as they mostly parallel paper formats. There's silly goblin in Pauper...but it's not Alchemy flooded Historic...Cloak.

Literally didn't cast iteration or trespass for meaningful value once in the league. Can't help but agree with the feeling that they don't belong with the rest of the armadillo cloak plan.

Even though you can't fetch for it Thunder Falls is still really good in this deck.
