I'm going to say with confidence that I'm the only person on Earth that is now hearing "learn to work the mazemind tome" to the tune of Deacon Blues by Steely Dan.
I love waste not. I have a Rakdos version with Collected Defiance. Turn 3 discard there hand get 5-6 triggers and they draw a new hand so your discard spells are not dead. Soooo much fun.
keeping the land in hand at 20:00 was a super punt, IMO.... I mean, the worst thing that could happen there was they discarding a land.... they have almost no spells to make waste not draw cards, and discarding a land would give you mana to cast liliana and +1 her getting rid of their last card and generating 3 additional waste not triggers....
So this is what my opponents are doing, talking about their next move and what my next move might be, while it feels like opp is sitting there with there arms crossed like a brat lol
i think this deck needs a bloodghast or 4 lol but honestly something that you want to pitch that you can bring back over and over like underdog or something seems strong once your in topdeck mode which is sort of where this deck should always end up
I’ve been running a rakdos version of this deck but just splashing for kroxa as that recurring threat. Subbing out prank and the adventure. Not sure if it’s right just not sure what other threat this deck needs. Maybe bat god?
Tbh you can pitch a lot of these cards. They are good in certain matchups and just discard fodder in the ones they aren't good in. Take a look at the list 😊
How is there still no Urborg on Arena? It seems like such an easy thing to code, since they already have Prismatic Omen on the client. It's played as a one-of in so many decks and would just be such an easy thing to get the format closer.
He was suggesting that they should ignore the hive and just chump block the 2/2, since that's the play that leaves them with the most outs to potentially win.

For the tome/bankbuster question, I think it'd be worth it to try playing an even split and seeing how often you wish one were the other.

they don't want to just finish the format. they want to do remaster sets too. just printing the meta ruins the future remaster potential
