- In today's video, we head to a Publix grocery store to show you what they are like. We needed a few things from Publix and have said we will film sometime so we decided to film this time! Before we lived in Florida, we didn't have Publix near us or know really what Publix had to offer. This one is an older style Publix but the updated ones can be really nice and organized. They usually have some sort of deal happening each day/week and a lot of times they have a BOGO. Remember, become a free member and put your number in when you check out. Sometimes you get some dollars off your purchase. We hope you enjoyed our tour of a grocery store in Florida called Publix and that it will help you out next time you visit one!

For the ridiculously high prices they charge for the groceries they should walk you to the Isle. As a matter of fact they should cook the food for you when you get home

Publix is ridiculously expensive. I compated 20 items at Publix vs Walmart. All items were 60-100% higher at Publix! Not worth it.
It is expensive! We always have a much better experience there than at Walmart. But we can’t always get our groceries there because it’s pricey!
My mother shopped at Publix in central Florida for about 30 years. I will shop at any available Publix in N. Carolina (if any exist there.) Publix rocks!!!
I choose Publix over Walmart 24/7!
@@magicbound publix makes good sandwiches, has good desserts. Everything is MUCH more expensive than Walmart and Aldi. We buy about 10% of our groceries at Publix. Save hundreds every month going to Walmart and Aldi.
@VetteGuy57 Yeah I like the baked goods at Publix; ie subs, cookies, cakes, their deli. Typical household stuff I get at Walmart. Also I live in Celebration. A very short walk to our Publix.
Publix is one of the big things I miss about living in Orlando! I love how all of their store brand items have interesting names and art 🤣

I love, love, love Publix. Wish we had one out west. I would definitely shop here rather than Kroger/Fry's. I always shop at Publix when in Florida.

I am in Phoenix. We have Whole Foods but that is very very expensive.
When I want to spend WAY more on groceries I'll go to Publix or sometimes at Christmas it puts on a good mood, then I may go, but otherwise, they're too expensive. But way back when, it was the only grocery store around and I loved shopping there, nice, clean, friendly store.
Agreed! It is very expensive but it does put us in a good mood lol. They also have some great stuff that we like getting every time we go!

I use Califia Almond creamers and the Caramel International Delight Flavor. We enjoy watching different Grocery Store walkthroughs in general too. Bakery, Cat Foods, meat prices, and the precooked meals - Sushi, etc. I heard they have a mango sushi, have you tried it? - I appreciate this!!
So I make my own breakfast pizza it’s super easy and everyone loves it and it’s a lot less expensive than buying it. What you will do is just get like a pizza crust mix and make that but double it and then you’re gonna take country gravy add some crumbled up breakfast sausage to that so you’re gonna make like a sausage gravy and that’s gonna be the sauce and you’re gonna take scrambled eggs bacon bits bell peppers, onions and top it with cheddar cheese and there you go. It’s that simple. You’re gonna bake it for like 13 mins at 400 degrees. BAM!

Mom lives in New port richey during the winter months. Loves her Publix. Comes home to michigan for the summer and complains how our grocery stores are no good. I agree. I've been to Publix when I visit. Much better than anything here. Looking forward to checking out a Greenwise when we move there in a few years.

They are gradually closing down Publix stores and rebuilding. It takes more than a year but the new stores are so nice like the one you mentioned. You should ask at the service counter about the Red Baron breakfast pizza. They can probably order them.
Oh good point! We will have to ask them. It will be nice once they get all of the Publix stores remodeled!

I always shop at Publix for my groceries. Also do it because of there Cherry turnovers the apple ones are good if they are out of cherry turnovers. I always will get the 2/1 cereal because my breakfast at home is cereal, cherry turnovers and coffee

Have you ever shopped at The Fresh market they are expensive but if you can’t find it in any other store the will probably have it, all a lot of brands I’ve never heard of.

Wich convenience super market do you recomend the most to buy some easy to prepare food, fruits, snacks, etc.. Hello! We hope you have a great time! Publix makes shopping fun but it does seem to get a little pricey. You will find a Publix all throughout Florida. Target is different because it is a store that has clothing, electronics, food, etc kind of like a nicer Walmart whereas Publix is just a grocery store. There is also a Trader Joe’s that we did a video on and it was a great spot if you are close to one. Hope this helps!

Thank you! When filming in a grocery store, we don’t want to be in people’s way or film too many people grocery shopping. We go a little faster through the aisles because of this. We tried to just do a generic outline of it all without stepping on any toes. There is also a difference based on the screen you watch it on. Thanks for the advice and we will see if we can slow it down a little more!

Publix will be much higher on pricing. Aldi is about as cheap as you can get groceries. The experience of a Publix is pretty cool!

Yes you usually get a plastic bag. However, some stores have all paper bags!

I'm finding publix is just as expensive as whole foods or sprouts. I'd rather just shop at whole foods.

Another of the two different streams grocery stores are taking. You have the big, low prices with lots of selection, and large quantity end caps and perimeter buys, then, you have nicely interior designed higher end stores that feature higher end deli and meats etc. I think the first stream will win out. Why? Most people want variety and low prices, and will pick that over fancier interior design and high end deli and meat stations. No offense to this couple, but this trend of TH-cam channels showing what everyone already knows and has seen is kind of moronic.

Didn’t know they did but unfortunately that is probably in a lot of items in all stores. Maybe one day everyone will stop using those!
@@thealtemlife That's no excuse. Take fresh strawberries and place them in water with some baking soda. Watch for water discoloration and dark spots on the strawberries. Whole Foods have them also.
