HI Merrill, I am pretty sure the "coin" with the hole in it is a world fair token. You would have to look up various world fair tokens on google to confirm which one it was. I found one in a similar condition which turned out to be a Paris World Fair watch fob.

That tag is a small version of the license plate from the 40's and fifties! It came with your license plate for your key chain. Just incase someone steals your plate.
Hi, I like that you pick up trash. I do the same when I'm out magnet fishing at community parks. I've had a couple of people say thank-you to me, thinking I work for the park district. Ha! Keeps me undercover.
Thankfully the bc's and pulltabs are light or my bag would break my back.LMAO with not digging the 20's.I refused to dig anymore pennies on one ball field and my son went back a couple days later and dug about 1# of pennies.He's young and I'm too old to dig pennies but he also found $20's in quarters and dimes.All clad.I'm more into finding gold but I'm enjoying your hunts and friends.Take your kids more.It's so much easier to let them dig with a pinpointer while you find the next signal,lol.
I'm surprised you throw away all the pull tabs and bottle caps. I keep all of my finds in a 5 gal bucket. When it is full, off to the recycling yard. Also, the ring that you weren't sure about...It looks like a seat to a faucet or something related to it.
You make a valid point! My local scrap yards are horrible. They rip me off on copper I can only imagine the half penny that they give me for iron or aluminum.

What kind of scooter is that? Also great finds! Also that US pin is from ww1 I own a few of the same ones I found a US 46 perfect shape with screw on back 6 inches deep behind my yard! From ww1
