It took me sometime to realize something. This Astarte. This Apothecary. This Human. This simple man. If he indeed survives. If he survives to the return of Gulliman. If he survives to the reinforcing of his chapter. If he survives to the return of his chapter and his return to it. He fought for humanity and kept his own humanity. He fought on CORILLA and lost so many brothers. He fought in Badab War. He fought in the penitent crusade. He fought the Tyranids. He fought in so many others so forgotten. He remembers them all and mourns the those lost. Finally he lost the fight. The fight for his chapter. The fight for the Imperium. NOT the fight for humanity itself. He fights for humanity not as a soldier, a warrior, a crusader but as an apothecary. He aides the people by helping as a simple man who mourns. A simple man that he may be so, that doesn't matter. What does matter is that he is a good man. One that still holds on to his humanity. One that still Laments Sorry lost my point. If he fight on Corilla and lets say he's narrating at the start of 42nd millennium, then he's means he's over three thousand years old, possibly three and half or even older. That makes him to oldest astarte not in a dreadnought. He's older than Dante chapter master of the Blood Angels. His experience and knowledge would be extremely valuable to the Lord Commanders and the adeptus astartes as a whole.
I have NEVER heard the Lamenters story told with so much Love and reverence! Absolutely fantastic Brother Tier, absolutely... fantastic!!! Happy New Year Battle-buddie and Happy New Year to all of us. Even the filthy Xenos and heretics, lol.
Ah my sad vampire boys, it’s awesome you made a vid in them. They are the sorrow and humanity of Sanguineous made manifest. They are so sad they round there way back to livid. These men are truly the salamanders best friends.
This hits so deeply because I have heard similar stories from Marine Corps veterans who fought in the Pacific on Tarawa, at Chosin, through Vietnam, and Afghanistan and Iraq. Good men fighting for the people who can’t fight for themselves, often volunteering to do so, but who were ultimately so much fodder for other men who hid from the battlefield and waged their war from the other side of the planet in relative comfort and protection that was provided by the very same men who they were so quick to forsake in the name of political expedience and popular opinion. I’ve been fooling around with 40K since the late 1980s and have recently found my way back to it. Never expected any part of it would make me feel reverence or pride…but here we are. This was superb.
By the Blood of Sanguinius, most Noble of spirit and Purest of duty. The Lamenters not only honor their Genesire by their unshakable resolve, but also in Death they Glorify his sacrifice with their own. “For those we Cherish, we die in Glory!”
For those we cherish, we die in glory they said, yet now, I alone, live in infamy, branded heretic, traitor, coward for doing as the Emperor created created me for. I was a Lamenter once, now I merely lament. This Sir deserves an animation. You have excelled yourself.

A 2,000+ year old space marine lamenter continuing his life of self sacrifice. The thought of such a noble warrior baking bread for the impoverished, knowing that what they fight for is true and pure yet failing. Finally becoming a renegade for the sake of the imperium. For those we cherish, we die in glory.
For someone who gave too much and lost too many, I hope this Lamenter finds some measure of peace. Bravo storytelling! I felt every word. I lament every sentence...
My life has been hard. Setback after setback, losses I'm never gonna be able to recover from. But I've pressed on and chiseled out a life for myself from the ashes. The desperate struggles of 40k resonate with me, but none more than the lamenters. You encapsulated their struggle beautifully.
0:14 the guardsman with the 41st millennium version of the M2 .50 cal is a bad SOB. Carrying the barrel and reciever as one, up hill, for a long distance is some big man work. Usually it takes three guys to carry the reciever, barrels, and the tripod. I love this.
Beautiful, brings a tear to the eye. The narrator really brought the feelings of sorrow and frustration, the helpless despair and injustice heaped upon a noble Chapter.
You constantly produce high quality, rich, in universe story telling dude. You should be so proud of yourself. One of the best Warhammer channels on TH-cam
I always appreciate how the Lamenters actually dare i say "human", to hear the pain of losing souls and wanting to protect every last person like the Salamanders. Above all they're one of the chapters i just want to hug since it always goes wrong. Great video as always!
For those we cherish, we die in glory. One of the purest sons of the Angel I have ever had the pleasure to read about, their lore is one of sadness, sorrow, tragedy, but also one of glory, victory, peace and sacrifice. Sanguinius surely looks down on the Lamenters and cries a tear of pride and of sorrow for his sons, may they stand loyal to the ends of time itself.
The Lamenters are a chapter of heroes who are under siege from their curse founding and the thousands of threats that seek to destroy the Imperium and its people, and no one within the Imperium who knows the truth of the Lamenters know that they deserve better, but there is no doubt that their Father the Great Angel is proud of his sons.
Salamanders may be the ones I like most, but these true Sons of the Angel are my second choice to fight beside. For in both chapters' hearts they keep a love for humanity so many Astartes abandon. For those we cherish, we die in Glory!
The level of content is continually surpassed with the stories brought forth. May your success grow and bring many more great videos. We look forward to many more and wish you great things in the future, sir. God bless.
Dude. Thank you so much for this. I don't think there's anybody in the game right now that is breathing this kind of life into the universe. You're hot as freshly fired bolt and your aim is true. I truly wish you the best in this new year.
I give my heart to the Lamenters and I now I see as I get deeper into the lore and deciding what chapter I belong to, I finally found it. I finally found the chapter that not only speaks to my heart but has become one with it. I give myself to the Lamenters and care not for what misfortune or what horrific fate awaits. Because death awaits all, death is the final destination for all. But it’s not the destination that matters, it’s the journey getting there. And the Lamenters although tragic have the purest journey of all chapters. Because despite the horrors and despite the misfortune they never turned traitor. Always remained steadfast and loyal. From this day forth, I am of the Lamenters. For I know what it is to Lament.
I love the accent. Such an incredible performance. Lamenters are one of the easiest groups to root for. They’ll never know it but they’re one of the greatest lights in a galaxy of darkness.
It’s like listening to a vet of an older war and recalling the history of his/her unit; the fondness of comradely, bootcamp stories, and even battles or moments where they lost those said comrades. The Lamenters chapter is a sad story and I am gladdened to see their story told through the eyes of an actual Lamenter. “I was a Lamenter once” perfectly said my friend please put out more chapters and maybe some more Imperial Guard?
I have been a fan of the Lamentors for a long time now and I thank you heartily for heaping honors on such a noble band of sanguine sons. For those we *Cherish* we die in *Glory*

This is why I subbed, This is why I pledge myself to Patreon! The feeling you get when you watch and listen to this voice. It beckons my attention and it has it! Another wonderful piece and thank you!
“For those we cherish we die in glory” Even though the Lamenters were cast aside by other cahpters, considered as cursed , and even as traitors by the inquisition they still felt more human than almost all the chapters in the 40k universe
That's it I'm writing a fanfic where the Lamenters had what they deserved, heroes to all, never to mourn the loss and death of their brothers, and have of the peace they bring to all, you guys are free to search for this piece of alternate story of the Lamenters in the depths of this cursed internet. "For those we cherish, We live in honor and die with glory."
For someone who has played the Lamenters for over 15 years. I approve this video. May the duties of the Lamenters inspire hope and passion for the Imperium of man.
What's so great about this story is you don't even need to know Warhammer 40k to enjoy it it increases the level of enjoyment but if you.listened to this without knowing anything about Warhammer 40k the story would still be emotional and gripping. It's that damn good of a video.

Another bit of writing I loved was the question “Do I believe they could have saved every soul?” and is given a response, but “Do I know that In combat a single blade can change the tide of a war?” Isn’t given a response because we already know what this Lamenter believes. Character work on point
Thank you as always Dr Palpy, I really loved making this video. Lamenters is such a good story. We had a bunch of ideas for this video but I’m super happy with how it turned out.
If everyone stands as one against the tide of evil.
It will _flinch_ & we can all push back together. Easier with more friends.
I heard there's tanks being sent to Ukriane right now.
Everything is working out. 💪
It was a rhetorical question... clearly.
@@jeremyhess7977 Does not diminish the effect. My bad that I didn't say that it was great you followed up that powerful regular question with an equally powerful rhetorical one. GG take your karma
My brothers story are being told “for those we cherish we die in glory”
One that still Laments
Sorry lost my point.
"For those we cherish, we die in Glory!" For Lamenters, i lament
I have NEVER heard the Lamenters story told with so much Love and reverence!
Absolutely fantastic Brother Tier, absolutely... fantastic!!!
Happy New Year Battle-buddie and Happy New Year to all of us. Even the filthy Xenos and heretics, lol.
So glad you enjoyed it brother! Happy New Year my friend
@@WarriorTier Happy New Year indeed friend. I hope this year the Algorithm favors you with the views that this channel so richly deserves.
Ah my sad vampire boys, it’s awesome you made a vid in them. They are the sorrow and humanity of Sanguineous made manifest. They are so sad they round there way back to livid. These men are truly the salamanders best friends.
The emperor smiles on this chapter. One of the most underrated astartes in lore.
Thank you so much Owlbear 🙏🙏🙏 I am grateful for your support brother
Thank you so much Rob 🙏🙏🙏
It deserves it but gw hates animations
This was so deeply good. As a veteran of many combat deployments, I can relate.
Thank you so much Shawn, it means a lot brother 🙏🙏🙏
0:10 that one guardsman casually carrying an M2 .50 cal on his shoulders like an absolute chad
Even in the 41st millennium it’s in service
@@austenlane7371Merica Pattern M2 STC 😂😂😂
the last bit, " i was a lamenter once" made me ball out for a few seconds; I am not ashamed to admit it. beautifully narrated.
Hell this is better than a movie.
I really appreciate that Felipe, Thank you so much 🙏
It's like a Trick-Shot of VA raw-talent & awesome Shadow Puppet Show (Edited-Slideshow) all in one!
Very awesome. 👌
I put off watching the video because I knew I was going to cry. And cry I did. The whirlwind of emotions I went through watching this masterpiece is ineffable. This is one of the best videos from the channel, a hard thing to say, because you excel each time. This is my favorite loyalist legion, and my favorite channel. As always thank you, deeply. Much love, Elena 🖤
In the grim dark world of 40,000 millennium
there was a candle that burned the brightest.
"But then again...what am i supposed to do? I was a lamenter once." Those words broke my heart. A warrior like an Astartes to feel so helpless.
He is the chapter master Feels Mcdontcry. Every video released on this channel is like an exterminatus straight to the feels. He's deep striking Salamanders Terminators in to hug his viewers.
Happy New Year man you're a gem.
Thank you so much Gwolfsoun 🙏🙏🙏
The lamenters lives.
FOR THOSE WE CHERISH, WE DIE IN GLORY
The blood angels successor chapters are so underrated
This channel is massively underrated. This is some top tier work.
Thank you, we appreciate the kind words!
10:59
Inquisitor: imma stop you right there chief.
Today is the first time I heard of Lamenters (new to 40K lore). Don't need to know about any other chapter, this is my favorite one.
Based
Great call, they are awesome. Truly one of the best
Thank you so much brother ✊
My life has been hard. Setback after setback, losses I'm never gonna be able to recover from. But I've pressed on and chiseled out a life for myself from the ashes.
The desperate struggles of 40k resonate with me, but none more than the lamenters.
You encapsulated their struggle beautifully.
Lamenters are among the few astartest deserving of the title 'angels'.
FOR THOSE WE CHERISH! WE DIE IN GLORY! *cries uncontrollably*
The pain in the voice. "I was a lamenter, once" hurts me the most.
This is god tier captures the lamenters perfectly
I really appreciate it Micah, Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
"A warrior who cannot admit his losses cannot boast of victory"
This was just heartbreaking to hear.....
How many times have you watched this?
Me: Yes
You constantly produce high quality, rich, in universe story telling dude. You should be so proud of yourself.
One of the best Warhammer channels on TH-cam
Thank you so much Flervest 🙏🙏🙏
I always appreciate how the Lamenters actually dare i say "human", to hear the pain of losing souls and wanting to protect every last person like the Salamanders. Above all they're one of the chapters i just want to hug since it always goes wrong. Great video as always!
Top tier vid.
Bringing 40k to life.
Not with constant upping of scale but with focus on the individual.
"The Eye of Terror, vomiting out it's insidious children once more"
Damn, haha, I like that
4:50
Dangit whenever Lamenters mentioned i read the wiki and whenever i read the relic parts of *Banner of Tears* my eyes immediately weep
Salamanders may be the ones I like most, but these true Sons of the Angel are my second choice to fight beside. For in both chapters' hearts they keep a love for humanity so many Astartes abandon.
For those we cherish, we die in Glory!
For those we cherish, we die in glory!

The emotion you put into the voice acting is great. My favorite is the armageddon one!
The level of content is continually surpassed with the stories brought forth. May your success grow and bring many more great videos. We look forward to many more and wish you great things in the future, sir. God bless.
So nice of you Eric, Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Dude. Thank you so much for this. I don't think there's anybody in the game right now that is breathing this kind of life into the universe. You're hot as freshly fired bolt and your aim is true. I truly wish you the best in this new year.
I really appreciate it brother, Thank you so much ✊
Powerful. The narrator is very different from other Astartes in the finest way possible. Such humanity in his cadence. What a wonderful reading.
"You're one of those heroes! Aren't you?"
".... Not anymore..."
Both the writing and delivery are superb. This is the Lamenters to a T. Absolutely brilliant
Thank you so much brother 🙏 it means a lot
I love the accent. Such an incredible performance. Lamenters are one of the easiest groups to root for. They’ll never know it but they’re one of the greatest lights in a galaxy of darkness.
This is the best and most heartbreaking story I’ve heard.
For those we cherish, we die in Glory! Thank you, Warrior Tier, for your passion and your efforts.
I am so glad you enjoyed the video brother, I am a huge Lamenters fan! Thank you!
@@WarriorTier I enjoy every video brother. Keep it up.
Love the videos, always been a huge fan of Lamenters! My Lamenter Reiver is at 14:47 which was a fun illustration to work on!
The lamenters are the perfect example of giving your best to everyone around you while life keeps giving you its worst.
Absolutely heart wrenching. The depths of the drama that is 40k never seize to amaze me. Fantastic read!
This was absolutely amazing, by far the best justice done towards the lamenters. I remember recommending them when i first came to your channel on tiktok, as i’m sure many others did, and its great to see them shown as the nobles heroes that they are
"A warrior who cannot admit his losses doesn't deserve to speak of his victories?!"
THESE QUOTES SHALL ONE DAY COVER MY ARMOR OF MY ASTARTES PLATE! Love it all as always!
The Lamenters live. This poor deathwatch lamenter doesn’t know that we got primaris support. I hope someone eventually tells him.
A retired space marine. Now I've heard everything. I was gonna say he broke the service ending in death rule, but then I realized, he's still serving. And lamenting.
Again with those feels . Amazing work . Emperor protect you brother
Thank you so much Tony 🙏🙏🙏
This is why I subbed, This is why I pledge myself to Patreon! The feeling you get when you watch and listen to this voice. It beckons my attention and it has it! Another wonderful piece and thank you!
Thank you so much Pakutyphoon 🙏🙏🙏
“For those we cherish we die in glory”
Even though the Lamenters were cast aside by other cahpters, considered as cursed , and even as traitors by the inquisition they still felt more human than almost all the chapters in the 40k universe
That was such a epic story made me come to tears . Really loved your every piece of art that you bring forth brother .
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. Lamenters is such a tragic story to tell
The best loyalist space marines
Salamanders: put her there brother I fell your pain
If I ever start a Space Marines army, it's going to be Lamenters. And I'll get the pauldrons _right._
I support this ✊
I second this. May they Lament in honor!
Agreed, hope this goes through, goes hard and stays
I shall support you brother ✊️
I look forward to see it happened. For the true defenders of mankind
I was a Lamenter once.
Holy fuck that hit hard. 16:38
Thank you so much Daerivore 🙏🙏🙏
