    The sweet and sour recipe is so weird to me, and not at all how you usually make sweet and sour sauce, but I've been looking for something closer to "fast food" sweet and sour dip, so I might try this if I can find corn syrup around here somewhere.
    Definitely going to try to make those nuggets. They look great in their own right. I wonder if I can make whole "nugget patties". Also, as a suggestion based on my experience with making chili cheese nuggets, it can really help to freeze before dipping into batter - it makes the batter stick better and preserves the shape easier, so no risk of the nugget falling apart; and then you just throw it back into the freezer again.

    The egg came first! There were egg laying animals around long before there were chickens. Dinosaurs for example. The question is incorrectly formulated. It should be : what came first? The chicken or the chicken egg?

    Ah. No. Nuggets need two dips in flour and batter. And combo of flour and corn starch in both batter and flour. This recipe doesn’t look like McDonald’s for these reasons.

  • @ricardovela2455

    No, that does not tell you if your oil is hot enough nor if it's too hot, use a candy thermometer.

    • @Luckmann
      @Luckmann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even a digital meat thermometer works great, as long as you only dip the tip of it. Really, the weakest part of this recipe is that we have no idea at what temperature she's frying.

      They say, even ur palm can act as a Emergency Thermometer.
      Simply place ur palm faced down over the heating oil - if u feel a heat sting within 5seconds - ur good to start (shallow) frying.
