------------------------------------------------------------------
140 years into the future, the people of Earth have enjoyed a century of peace and global disarmament. Yet the dark side of human nature still lingers. Threats of physical conflict are stirring once again. War seems inevitable.
In a secret underground facility, a backup plan is triggered by the tremors of nuclear weapon testing. With respect to the global disarmament, a top secret contingent abandoned their military mech manufacturing hangar with one directive left behind: If peace is ever threatened again, one final mech will be constructed, capable of restoring peace at any cost.

To be honest, I love how much work even went into the credit animations. Hollywood like stuff!
thank you! means a lot that you watch the credits :)
@@khtrammell they're classy.
Hollywood would ask for the robot pronounces!
I recognize that 30 Minutes Mission Portanova Space Type.
That's awesome! Congratulations,it looks fantastic, and all the students should be super proud!
Thank you, Pierrick!
*Sees 30 minutes missions stuff being shown*
I'm sold!
Gotta say being a part of this collab (arm unit) was one of the coolest projects I've ever worked on in my life. I wasn't a part of designing the credits sequence, so that came as the coolest surprise to me to see happen. I couldn't have dreamed of such a cool sequence to really show off how much work each team really put in. (Seriously look at those robo-builder arms and endo-skeleton details and all the little details in the hangar. Mind-blowing!)
It reminds me of one of those goofy moments at the end of an epic film screening where the credits punch in and everybody stands up and claps and the real turbo-nerds stick around to see if there's a stinger at the end. (Oh hey like the one teasing the upcoming course about our endeavors! Haha)
This took a dedicated team of a lot of fine people putting in a lot of hours alongside everything else going on in their lives. I'm really excited reading all these supportive comments, and can't wait to hopefully be a part of whatever comes next!
I'm going to be a pro CG artist thanks to CG Cookie. I'm leaving that right here, right now. :)
Kyle, you are a pleasure to work with! With your drive, I have no doubt that you will become the pro CG artist you aspire to. Thank you for being part of this project!
30 Minute Missions! So cool...
Well I recognize it's 30 Minute Mission, I made several customs with these sets ^^
I am speechless
Pls tell how many days it took to complete the whwole project and how much time it took to render?
Thnx and keep up the good work
The End Credit Scene Was 🔥🔥
Dang, I would try turning this into a bad ass mech game with UE5 if I had access to the assets.
hot damn...this was beautiful!!
thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)
Yo stache
Amazing work! Glad to see one of my favorite 30 min mission mech get a vid.
great! a little hommage to starcraft2 terrain openning movie
Wow! I need to watch this again already, it is truly amazing what the CGC community and instructors have created with Collab.03
Man!!! I wish it's Gundam. It's how the pieces put together..Amazing!!!
That looks awesome! If you don’t mind me asking, what text-font is that? Looks super cool
This turned out so awesome! Real hollywood type stuff, or Triple A Game cinematic. Even better when you consider who made it. Shows that with a little elbow grease and teamwork you can achieve so much without being a multi-million dollar studio. Excited to see what's next.
Yes YES! It never ceases to amaze me what a little elbow grease and teamwork can accomplish. Love your comment :)
Looks absolutely amazing!! Now make a video game of it!
I come here the moment I recognized the Portanova space type
OMG. Visually stunning of course, but what got me impressed was how much thought has gone into the mechanics and the visualization of the assembly of the robot. Impressive stuff.
Nice, Solid work love it!
Peace... through superior firepower!
Nice, looking forward to get the course 😊
Сool guys, it gives me goosebumps, I like it😯
I like the large scale construction lab concept. Rather than it being just another hanger to house one big robot.
It means, such a lab, with enough resources, could pump out thousands of such robots. Making an army of them. Even damaged ones could be brought back in, striped of parts, to make whole, a few working ones from salvageable scraps.
As is, today, there has been some real life videos of robots making and fixing other robots, as a demo of what could be, basically taking the need of humans, out of the equation someday, in both the build and repair of robots.
This video is so well done. Looks like a type of factory that could work.
Also the single eye in the head design, reminds me of the new Boston Dynamic Atlas 2. Very cool.
Amazing👋👋👋
Bandai / Sunrise should hire you, bro! This is awesome!
Cool 🤘🔥
Wow! AMAZING... Wonderful 💥
no words for actual praising.
really so much like that.. ❤
After the first few screws and welds everything just clips into place 😂
Impressive. But if it was Hollywood, you know they would have plastered the construction scene with credits instead of making it all nice and visible for us. 😁
Dayuuumm
Great, as always! Is it EEVEE or CYCLES?
It's both! The environment is Eevee and the robot + machinery are Cycles. We'll post a breakdown soon!
that is so cool how did you do that? that is great work
i finished my first own project render today and i am so happy, its like all the work payed off, i don´t imagine how you guys feel after finishing projects like this! soo good man
This is giving me Astartes / Starcraft / Iron Man Vibes !
This animation reminded me of the beginning of StarCraft 2, where Tychus Findlay was captured in armor.
That was one of our two favorite inspirations! That and iron man (2008)
@@khtrammell By the way, this is where I saw such animation in the movie Iron Man (2008) for sure. Do I understand correctly that you made this animation "Peacemaker Protocol"?
@@АланКлимкович I was part of the team that made this short
@@khtrammell Great job😎! Approximately how long did the work (Peacemaker Protocol) take you? I'm wondering if I can also participate in the team?
Happiness is a giant mech simulation.
Brilliant work, y'all!
Was Blender used just for 3d modelling and animation or was it also used for VFX and video editing?
Blender was used for everything except video editing. I used Davinci Resolve. BUT I want to try Blender's VSE again soon.
Impressive hard surface work!
I am interested in designing and animating robots and effects
Incredible work, well done!
I love it! 3d art looks so cool.
I love seeing collaborations.
Good job, especially to my boyfriend Martin Aversa who appears in the credits. 😍
Martin is a rockstar! So glad he joined the project. Thanks for watching and commenting
oh stop it you both! 🤗🤗😳😳
Wow that is a course are we currently making movie or something with that??
The level the blender and it's mentors reached is really amazing wow
You guys are rocking the world of the blender pushing it through the maximum
that's very kind of you to say - thank you!
❤❤ @@khtrammell
INSANE ! this is really shoocking how good and detailed it is
thanks a lot! we geeked out over the details and appreciate that you appreciate them :)
Making peace true a gun? Next chapter hope you build a Monk Mech.
By the way, super well done CG, congratulations!
don't worry, the gun shoots love not lasers. Thanks for watching!
bro the animation is great, and the outro is amazing too with credit, very cool, i will get the subscription once this drops!
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Thank goodness for Fischer Robotics Inc. for initiating the Peacemaker Protocol. Excellent Collab results!
SPLAT!! We missed you on this one. Thank you for watching and commenting!
This has to be inspired by Gunpla models, right? I feel like this essentially built an original Gundam. :)
Yes! This was inspired by Bandai's bEXM-15 Portanova Space Type gunpla kit
@@khtrammell awesome.... great animation, loved it!
I would like very much to enter one of these collab teams. But I don't feel I still have the skills. Maybe next year.
We design each project with all skill levels in mind, organizing tasks for beginners and advanced artists alike. Don't let that hold you back :)
@@khtrammell Then I'll stay tuned for the next one. Thanks.
The sound engineering is just as sick as the Mesh work in this piece - seriously outstanding!!
A very beautiful and interesting film. What render engine did you use?
Yes, it was made with Blender, but surely not EEVEE for that stadium-like lights-on with fog scene which look pristine. Or was it EEVEE?
It was both actually. The environment was EEVEE. The machines and mech were rendered with Cycles.
The environment is 100% Eevee! It took way too long to render with Cycles. Frankly, Eevee saved the day.
The robot and machinery is Cycles
Impressive.
We need an actual 30 Minute Missions animated series! It HAS to happen!
Wouldn’t that be awesome?!
Was it all done only in Blender? 😮 wow
100% blender! thanks for watching
awesome!!
That's so awesome animation, i like the robot assembly sequence that reminds me of iron-man movie ( from 2008 )
Clap Clap Clap ! 😃
Thank you! Iron Man (2008) was a big influence for sure
This needs to be a game or a movie NOW!
You're about to spend $26 on a BEXM-15 Portanova Space Type model kit.
so nice
This is so cool and such a great job! Can’t wait to see more work come out
It reminds me of the '97 music video 'All Is Full Of Love' by Björk. 😊
I had to look that up but yes, that would have been great reference! Was it really ‘97? That was way ahead of its time if so
Very inspiring to get better at blender and the 3d animation skills that i need to improve on! Thanks!
That's sick, do you have link to the song?
So freaking cool!!!
thank you! 🙏
I noticed the arm clipping into the rifle when he grabs it. But overall it was pretty cool. I'd be interested in seeing an episode of this on love death and robots!
Woah you’re right. I’ve never noticed this before and you’re the first to point it out. Good eye!
Amazing work everyone.
Now...take my money. I want in!!
Another great collab year with regular people behind the wheel. This is what a group can do when given direction and guidance.
Great work to all those involved!
Always a joy working with you, Shawn. You never fail to show up in a big way 💪
Woah did not now about these
and there have already been three wow!
this is awesome stuff guys thank you!!
incredible! Congratulations to everyone involved!
My toxic trait is thinking that I can re-create something like this on my own after a single donut
That’s a common misconception. While the donut only scratches the surface, don’t make the bigger mistake of thinking you’ll never be able to create visuals like this
ok... I'm hearing the same sentiment here...
But let me start with... I'll buy one of those Mechs!
Now on to the grand finale - the credits! Wow, fantastic as any I have seen, bar none.
Look no further than 30 Minute Missions, the Portonova Space Type.
Gunpla is such a fun hobby - definitely give this kit a try!
damnnnn bro, thats good!
get turbo tools, it eliminates the cycles denoise flickering... and a bit to much chromatic aberation for my taste, most edges look green or pinkish because of that... and i think it would look even more realistic if u make backgrounds darker, more deep black areas... 2:12 the robot would pop way more if background wouldnt be that lighty...
Ok. Where’s the course on creating the credits 😂
Thinking about how much work went into designing robot interior parts that were visible for one second… that’s the detail that sells it. Fantastic!
Thanks for the encouraging comment! Makes me want to teach the credit sequence now 🙂
@@khtrammell I’m looking for an AE/Premiere replacement for these things anyway, there’s just little quality information available on the video editor etc… this is looking fantastic!
Can you tell us how long it took you guys to complete this clip from start to finish?
The production period was about 8 weeks with all-hands-on-deck. All the modeling, most of the rigging, lighting R&D, anim tests, and VFX R&D was completed in this time.
A post-production period lasted about 3 months but it was a much smaller contingent of the original team finishing animation and rendering sequences.
So add a month for some pre-production tasks on the front end and I'd estimate about 6 months in total, spread out.
Super dope guys!
I'm glad you liked it - thanks!
superb animation. everything is perfect. But, the feet is pretty small lol.
This is really cool!
amazing🔥🔥🔥❤🔥❤🔥
👏
Nicely done!🎉
🔥
Freakin' Awesome Sauce! :D
Thank you! And thanks for watching 😊
Dope stuff!
Awesome ❤❤
Looks dope!
Sick!!!!
amazing!
cool
did you guys use eevee or cycles? Looks awesome!
Thanks! We used a mix of both. The robot and machinery was rendered with Cycles and the environment was rendered with Eevee.
Keep an eye on this channel - we’ll post a breakdown soon
Impressive, wish I could do something like that on my own, keep it up.
Gives me big heavy gear vibes. And I'm 100% here for that.
Interesting mechanicsm but that thing looks heavy no way in hell that legs able to support it
You are nuts bro 🎩
This is so cool!
Holy guacamole
molto bello
a m a z i n g !
Amazing!!!
thank you!
