I'm fine with Tessa Thompson playing Brunnhilde (or whatever the F is her name supposed to be in the MCU). As established since the first movie, Asgard is racially diverse (though not having Sif and Heimdall as brother and sister like in the comics was a bad change, so they should've either swapped Sif's race as well, or have them both played by white actors). What I'm not fine with is her character being depicted as a condescending, unlikable, morally repulsive slaver drunktard who never even has a moment of reflection for being a terrible person. Whenever there's a race swapping going on, defenders of those decisions always say, ''Character's race doesn't matter. What matters is the core of the characters.'' Well, in this case, the character's core was completely butchered. But then again, not like Taika's so-called Thor movies are exclusive in that regard to Valkyrie. Every damn character doesn't resemble what they're supposed to resemble at their core.
