I love Anker portable battery chargers. I tend to buy battery packs, charge them fully, set them aside, and never use them. I've had Anker battery packs that I found five years+ after I last set them aside, and found that they were still fully charged!
It would be helpful if you uploaded the chart of ALL the devices you tested to come to your top 5. So if we’re looking at a product that doesn’t happen to make your video list we would know if it was tested and didn’t hold up or wasn’t even tested and might be great. Love your videos and format!
do you think the Anker MagGo Power Bank, Ultra-Slim is better than 1#? I've been thinking which one I want to get, and I've decided to chose 1# or the Anker MagGo Power Bank, Ultra-Slim. Could you please tell me which one you think would be better?
Not sure if you've tried to new Anker Maggo slim but it's 10k at about 2/3 of the size of the previous 10k. It doesn't have a stand or screen but the slim fit looks great. I'm curious on the temperature though.
@@thekivster yeah I’m just surprised he (as a self acclaimed reviewer) doesn’t know about it when making a best battery pack review for the iPhone 16 and having the older model as number 1 when the average joes in the comments know about it.
We can't buy that battery pack in Canada. That's why he didn't review it. He says that in another video he made when he tested the Anker battery banks family.
To me #1 is the Belkin but in the 8k-Variant. The specs seem to confirm my choice. (appearantly the 5k one has lower specs compared to the 8k and 10k versions)
I plan to get a 10K milliamp magsafe Anker battery bank. Though, they did have a recall just announced for a defect for certain production runs that they are send replacements. I'd only buy name brand as there is so much more risk of fire or explosion with no-name or counterfeit lithium ion batteries.
As an over-thinker, I spent half an hour trying to find the best MagSafe power bank. It was seriously giving me a headache. Thankfully, after watching your video, I see that you’ve done all the heavy lifting for me!
Thanks! Used your link to support. Just FYI today 9/22 there is an Amazon coupon on the #1 spot charger the Anker 10K Qi2. Grabbed it and had same-day shipping. Thanks!
Stay away from Inui. Bought a power bank earlier in the year. Used it sparingly before it started overheating and died. Got a replacement and that didn’t work. Gave up after that.
I’m curious. Why do you test flow through? Do people do this, and if so why? If my bank is dead I’ll charge it alone. If my phone is low and needs the bank, but bank is dead, I would charge phone alone. I’m not sure I’d do flow through
Can you test the magnetic strength of the original Peak design cases?? I swear since we all swapped to G2 standard the magnetic strength has diminished considerably. The round magnets do not provide nearly as much magnetic strength as the square magnet design that Peak design had in their first cases. Ever since swapping to the pixel 9 pro, I've been woefully disappointed with my Peak design case, which I used to absolutely love. To the point of my question though, it would be nice to see what the strength difference would be with a peak design case versus the flat back of an iPhone.
Have you checked out the Anker Maggo Ultra Slim? :) it seems like that one is also very good. Would you compare this to your nr.1? :) Btw: do you think a magsafe charger deteriorates the battery faster than wired charging?
Do you think I should get a MagSafe battery pack or a wired one? I feel like if I’m ever in the situation where I need to use a battery pack I would prefer charging speed over anything else. And to my understanding a wired battery pack would charge much faster.
Watched the video with a lot of interest since i am in the market for a new magsafe battery pack. But I would like one where i can also charge my apple watch with.. Maybe an idea for a next video?
Thanks for all the info. I don't need a magsafe charger pack, I want a battery pack that supersedes the phone battery and is used up first before the phone battery is used. This is how the old black Apple iPhone battery cases worked and my XR iPhone battery barely aged at all. Is there something like that out for iphone 15 PM. I have the white Apple magsafe battery charging pack but with the heat of the iP15 much of the time in outside use it says it is too hot to charge, and it's just a charger anyway..
Does the magnetic strength on all of these improve when paired with say a MagBak case? Also, will the charging "strength" be lessened when going through a case?
What about the Qi2 chargers from Ugreen and ESR? They seems to be very similar to the Anker 10k. I believe Ugreen also has 5kmAh versions which is more compact. I also do these tests on my own and thanks for validation
Are there any battery packs that use magsafe for attaching to the phone but use USB C to charge? I like the convenience of Magsafe but the charging speeds are slow
You have to try the Anger Slim 10K. New product just launched. It is slim, better magnet but no screen. Did I say Qi2. Love it. That will be your new #1
Please review some combo products! Specifically, I wanna see your opinion on the Anker Prime Fusion (9.6k). But it also does spark more interest in other fusion products.
They're wired in series? Usually batteries are wired in series to increase voltage and in parallel to increase capacity. For example, two 5v/5000mAh batteries wired in series will result in 10v/5000mAh whereas wiring them in parallel will get you 5v/10,000mAh. Am I missing something?
Hi I like your review and was trying to buy the Anker 10K Qi2. When I click on your affiliate link it doesn't go directly to the charger but rather to a grouping of chargers. Maybe you can fix the affiliate link? Thanks.
It’s weird you made it sound the Belkin ran very hot , when it’s actually one of the lower temperature packs. You said it ran hot at 102 f, then you mention the average is 110 -105 for most packs , does not make sense.
Hi, I always love your videos and I had to say that before I ask my question. OK, you tested everything except, in my opinion... weight. How much does the Number one Anker charger weigh? Weight is very important to me as I suffer from neck, shoulder and upper arm rheumatism and so my EDC sling bag has to be light.
2:30 I can't imagine having your phone always on a charger is great for the health of the battery. I know iphones have good ICs and are smart, but physics are gonna physics and that constant wireless charge is gonna put extra stress on the cells, especially with all the additional heat 😬
I would be interested in the "TORRAS MiniMag Ultra Slim" which seems to be the smallest magsafe powerbank: 5k in 10,2 x 6,6 x 0,8 cm; 111 grams. I don't see any use in those bulky magsafe powerbanks, can't really handle sticking on your phone and charging via cable is better anyway. Only magsafe powerbank I would personally use is as thin as possible for basically emergency charging. The Torras seems to be so mobil, could even fit in some wallets^^ But I haven't seen anyone doing good tests so will wait some time before buying it.
Just out of curiosity @MobileReviewsEh! Have you ever reviewed or come across the Aukey MagFusion 3-1? The reviews online are mostly sponsored which can be biased. Please tell me your thoughts.
Crazy how a non sponsored channel gives better facts and testing data than the sponsored ones do! 😂 Fantastic video btw
Bro that's why we subbed RiGHT!😂
Plus he been around for awhile and got his own thing going on for years it's impressive honestly I agree right with You!! KeepPushinYo:)🙌🏽! !
Agree! And liked the comparison fast charge vs price
And the others don't offer … Monty! Win-win.
Monty deserves more headpats! He's doing the hard work here!

Would love to see ESR in this lineup. I’m also interested in how their cryoboost technology stacks up for their stands/car chargers that they have.
I’d like to know this also!
Mee too, would like to see ESR qi2

Where is the brand new Anker 10k Powerbank Slim ?!
I don't think it's available in Canada yet
I would love you to check this battery bank account and tell me if it’s good Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K, Slim)
do you think the Anker MagGo Power Bank, Ultra-Slim is better than 1#? I've been thinking which one I want to get, and I've decided to chose 1# or the Anker MagGo Power Bank, Ultra-Slim. Could you please tell me which one you think would be better?
Did you get the slim?
same
Monty is such a good boy, just wow
Great review too :P
Sorry. Kept getting distracted by your pup ❤😂

Are you adding that new 10k anker slim maggo? I also read they are releasing an even slimmer 5000 mah slim maggo soon
holy shit finally a tech review video that can keep up with my adhd ass brain and isnt full of sponsors
PLEASE test the new Anker MagGo power bank, ultraslim 10000mAh Qi2 certified
I don't think it's available in Canada yet
Thanks for the helpful vid! Would be interested to see how the new Anker mag go slim stands up to the mag go you had at number 1.
What do you think of the Anker MagGo Power Bank, Ultra-Slim 10,000mAh? It's the same as the one with the smart display but cheaper and much thinner.
Crazy that he completely missed that in his review, it's the clear number one and it's not even mentioned here. What a shame.
@@koreskalp It just came out so maybe he missed it
@@thekivster yeah I’m just surprised he (as a self acclaimed reviewer) doesn’t know about it when making a best battery pack review for the iPhone 16 and having the older model as number 1 when the average joes in the comments know about it.

Lore my discontinued Apple MagSafe battery. Using on 16 pro

I love you little dog using a tie
my go to channel for my tech

Very few people use phones without a phone case, would love to see a video going though these batteries with phone cases on
Definitely but also depends on which case cuz some cases stick better than the phone to
Thanks both you and Monty! Informative content as always, I always watch your videos if I am looking to buy an iPhone accessory!

I’ve been following you for years, thank you for your reviews.
Ugreen dropped a qi2 magsafe power bank, can you test it?
30 mins gets around 32% charge but the temperature is good

I'm here for the review, and I'm here to see Monty.
dang, great review but I wonder where you would place anker's new model, A1664 ultra-slim 10k
I had the Anker 10k power bank but with an original clear cover from Apple it doesn't fit. The camera bulge on the cover will not make it fit.
Missing the baseus ones. The qi1 packs actually just had a significant sale and i bought some
Can we get a video on the best USB-C to USB-A cables for CarPlay? Coming from a 12 pro to a 16 pro, need a USB-C but my car only has USB-A ports
I would love for you review the Otterbox 2-1 MagSafe powerbank. Made for MagSafe.
Do you think I should get a MagSafe battery pack or a wired one? I feel like if I’m ever in the situation where I need to use a battery pack I would prefer charging speed over anything else. And to my understanding a wired battery pack would charge much faster.
I have the iniu bi-b1 magsafe powerbank. It's great! But it started expanding within 5 months
The OG in reviewers.
Been having weird problems with baesus, they even did a recall
Ordered a couple hopefully, the Amazon links work for you. Thanks for the review!
I just want a small and slim one. So it doesnt feels like a extra brick in the pocket when im on the go
Is there an updated glass screen protector review with the iPhone 16 launch?
Watched the video with a lot of interest since i am in the market for a new magsafe battery pack. But I would like one where i can also charge my apple watch with.. Maybe an idea for a next video?
I have had Anker 622 5000mAh, for about a year now. I have noticed that it's a bit swollen.
Would you consider leaving Amazon links for Canada store? Thanks

You’ll need to review the Anker Mag Go UltraSlim 10k qi2 powerbank. It looks like it’s a slimmer version of Ankers current qi2
What should I get for the iPhone x?
25W magsafe wireless?
Does the magnetic strength on all of these improve when paired with say a MagBak case? Also, will the charging "strength" be lessened when going through a case?
Such a well behaved dog!!! Which breed is that?
Out of curiosity do u have plans to do a review on sharge carbon mags?
I clicked on your link for the OtterBox Multi Mount Power Bank and it’s not there. Not sure what to do… Al
Would like to know how about the Ugreen Uno 10,000 compared to the Anker 10,000 Ultra-slim
Agreed, can you please review the new ESR Qi with Cryo tech?
Why you never try urgreen brand?
What about the Qi2 chargers from Ugreen and ESR? They seems to be very similar to the Anker 10k. I believe Ugreen also has 5kmAh versions which is more compact. I also do these tests on my own and thanks for validation

You have to try the Anger Slim 10K. New product just launched. It is slim, better magnet but no screen. Did I say Qi2. Love it. That will be your new #1
Just be careful about which ones you buy. Anker has a recall on some of the MagSafe battery banks. Because of fire risk.
Really ?

have you tested the iwalk, ugreen, and esr 10k qi2 ones?
Great Video! I have a question though, how does the Belkin BoostCharge Pro Qi2 5k stack up against the Anker 622 (5k)? Or is it about the same?
Love your vids and super thankful for you!
However, your links don't take us exactly to the product page
on the belkin site says the boost charge pro only charges at 7.5w

Did Apple discontinue their branded one?
Are there any that charges itself via MagSafe?

Test the new Tesla Wireless charger power bank. Very cool features.
bro brought the receipts!
Does it work for 16 pro max also ?
Does qi2 fast wireless charge samsung phones (the older qi1 standard charges my s24 ultra at 10w max)
Have you ever ever tested the Mous MagSafe power bank 6000mah
If so is it good
can you review CarbonMag (10K) by Sharge

can i purchase any of those from mexico?
Sharge 10K?
