I'm currently troubleshooting my Toshiba Satellite L305D. I had already replaced the motherboard - no results. I then started to work my way to the screen. I've replaced the LCD Cable - No results. I've replaced the lcd inverter - no results. Should I be able to see anything on the screen upon powering it on if I had taken it out and shined a white led lamp on it? There is nothing. The fan runs but the processor doesn't produce any heat upon power on. The fan only blows cold air. I need help.

I was worried to see under 4 ohm on CPU when I did one. But it's normal. Very low resistance. All good. Gnd to gnd shows very close to zero but gnd to CPU plus should be a few ohms.
Please talk through your videos because visually impaired people like myself haven’t got a clue what you are doing. And screen reader does not describe videos I have this model and it would really help me to know how to do stuff like this myself thanks

Some time Fan spins specially when battery is in but without battery only power in doesn't spin , What could be problem? It was working and I used re-soldered (charging Pin) wire of charger and laptop got hot and stopped displaying on screen. ANY REMEDY. Appreciate in advance, Jazakallah.

Bah mau nanya ni, ane kebetulan service hp agak awam sama laptop ada saudara antar laptop toshiba bn10-a. Masalah nya itu dihidupkan power led sama led tombol power hidup tapi tidak ada tampilan alias blank hitam Awal kasus katanya instal ulang, cuma muncul tulisan aja layar hitam tulisan putih, nah setau saya laptop ini kan gak ada dvd nya jadi kalau mau diinstal wajib upgrade bios dulu. Nah setelah itu yang instal nyerah dibawa lah ke kota dikota cek end ricek ternyata si service ini bilang ic bios nya kenak dan barang nya susah dapat ic bios nya kode mxic 25L1006E -10g ( udah ane liat mobo nya) emang susah cari tu ic. Pertanyaan nya , emang betul kena di ic bios atau karna bios corrupt dan gagal update makanya seperti itu mohon bantuan dan solusi nya bah, ☺☺

Ok. Did the laptop work on battery and not ac? How did you know is Tokin. I normally only suspect Tokin is battery only running is good but ac no go

Bah mau nanya ni, ane kebetulan service hp agak awam sama laptop ada saudara antar laptop toshiba bn10-a. Masalah nya itu dihidupkan power led sama led tombol power hidup tapi tidak ada tampilan alias blank hitam
Awal kasus katanya instal ulang, cuma muncul tulisan aja layar hitam tulisan putih, nah setau saya laptop ini kan gak ada dvd nya jadi kalau mau diinstal wajib upgrade bios dulu. Nah setelah itu yang instal nyerah dibawa lah ke kota dikota cek end ricek ternyata si service ini bilang ic bios nya kenak dan barang nya susah dapat ic bios nya kode mxic 25L1006E -10g ( udah ane liat mobo nya) emang susah cari tu ic.
