Today I go over the Ketch carbonate board and the YakAttack Leaderboard. Which one is beat for you? Should you upgrade? Is it worth the price?

Hey brother I'm happy that one of my pictures helped you make you video . Charles Fox is my name . I love my Ketch boards . I don't know if I would get a Yak Attack Leaderboard . I have 3 Ketch boards already . I'm pretty certain Yak Attack has the quality there so that's not the issue , only reason I don't think I would get one is because I have the other 3 now . Both companies make awesome products . So either way whichever one you buy you will get great products. Great information for people to see if they are on the fence about buying a measuring board . Keep making informational greatness brother.

Those things are enormous. They grow smallies different up north apparently!
Float your Ketchboard. I found a video somewhere and it works. Get some self sticking window or storm door type foam strip. Turn the board over and stick it in the first grove on both side of the board. It is much slower to sink and has been on my board since they first came out.

The orange and black is definitely harder to see, especially in overhead sun conditions. You can even see in your video yellow and black is easier on the eyes. I’m sticking to my Ketch.

I don’t fish turnies yet but I really do like the yak attack one better. I seen it was about to come out so I’ve held off buying a ketch

"On the Fence", for another board! Already lost a Ketch board and an old Aluminum "Hog Trough" one in the lake (stupidity runs Deep here---no tether on Either...!).
Maybe I won't lose the next one? Lol

I don’t think it’s worth upgrading. I think that tag holder will break off when folks forget to fold it back up. I could see the cull markers wearing and then not staying where you put them. You can put some foam on the bottom of the Ketch or Ketch X if you want it to float.
@@NuFishin they are both quality. I don't think one is better than the other in build quality. Someone may have more value if they are serious tourney anglers with YakAttack. Most of us casual fishers may still do just fine with Ketch
Ketch boards will float it you buy 1/4 in round foam and hot glue the the foam in the grooves in the back of the board. The Yak Attack board looks like a nice board, but when there is limited space in a kayak, I would rather go with a smaller board. In this case a Ketch board.

In the same boat as you. Fishing more for fun but I am looking to upgrade the old hawg trough. The leaderboard looks nice but man it looks like it’s going to take up space
My opinion. It looks like a nice board, But I wanna know what that mirror's gonna look like. After it gets scratched and all that stuff. And if that's the case, are we gonna be forced to have to buy another board Also I would like to see how strong those identifier slots are on the board or are they gonna be easy to break

If I didn’t have a ketch + ID holder I’d get one. I like the built in ID holder and the cull markers.

Does the leader board ft in the RVR and the PWR?
It can but not in the spots designed for Ketch boards. You would have to buy the YakAttack mounting accessories
I am not going to upgrade but my next one will likely be the leaderboard. Do they make a 12" version bc that's all ive needed this past week
@@PhotoBob they do not lol. I feel you on that one though lately. It'd a really nice product, but again, so are Ketch products. I'll upgrade eventually too I'm sure
Why would you do this to me?!?!? lol, I was thinking of getting a ketch board but then you release this video and now I’m shook. Will the leaderboard fit on the titan x? I know it has an area for the ketch brand so will the leaderboard fit in that area?
It will fit but you may need to get one of the Leaderbard holders for it

Hello, What are your thoughts on the older Jackson Kilroy(2013) in great shape. It has the dashboard. Its hull is the Cuda 12. Do you think it would paddle and track as well as the newer ones? Thanks Scott
