I bet 99% of the people who make fun of the engine sound have never heard it in real life. In reality it sounds very mechanical and raw - which isn't bad for a sports car.

Um BMW offer from the 1 Series to 4 Series in a Manual though, not to mention VW still make manuals of most of their group brands (granted its badge engineering).
Even Aston Martin offers the new Vantage as Manual😄

@@milchomarkov8158 good. Unless you are professional race driver you need auto rev matching, like in you will enjoy the car more. The only ones not liking it are "paper experts" who never drove one or guys racing them on track like every other weekend. But actually these more often than not will prefer pdk.

I really like it and unlike many others don't mind the 4 cylinder. Actually this 2.0 boxer sounds closer to the old air cooled engines then the old 6 cyl. The only slight criticism is that gears seams to be a bit longer but in general al the car you ever need and no one needs more power to have fun on the twisties then this "basic" Boxter offers
I don't know I really like the engine sound, for me it's a selling point.

I am going to say that this car is perfect to handle it in manual, it is perfect to go out and cross the mountain roads on a sunny day listening to the sound of the engine and feel the softness of the clutch when you step on them to change speeds, this car falls in love with the first sight, it is like a platonic love, you know that you are made for each other at the first contact, simply porsche

I love it, for some reason. I love the sound and the interior.
So non competition M2 manual or this manual. Which is better to drive? The two cars seem very very similar in POVs.
I am not very good at sounding constructive. Nice car, good video quality but, TC off contributed zero to the demonstration, TC off is more of a 'macho move' rather than a logical decision. The car's operational logic exceeds both yours and mine. Sport+ is track mode. TC off best used to allow extended wheel spin in snow or drifting, if you hate tires.
2nd gear is pretty tall, but all the gears after that are quite close. 6th is pretty short with 2500 RPM @ 100km/h.

Idea is great but the sound is not there.
It has improved, but it's no flat 6. I'm definitely hearing less Subaru and something more akin to a 356, albeit modernized.
