No one in the Philippines consider ourselves as Pacific Islanders it's just those Filipinos who grew up in the US.

Most of the inter-island travel is via the Roll-on/roll-off (RORO or ro-ro) ships which are cargo ships designed to carry wheeled cargo, such as cars, trucks, semi-trailer trucks, buses, trailers,. FYI.
the pan highway isnt necessarily physically connected. you gotta cross some islands by boats and ships in order to continue the highway

Ahhh yes Philippines! My beloved country, and yes! absolutely, Philippines has been Colonized by loads of countries but here are the main Three(3) The U.S, Spanish(The Spanish Empire), and Japan(Japanese empire who teamed up with Nazi/Third Reich and the Italian Empire) but then in June 12 they got theyre independence! as its my Fathers birthday.

not entirely true, the Pan Philippine highway which was the plan of former President Marcos, was discontinued when a new regime took over. So it's partly connected thru inter-island ferries for now.

btw phillipines has the world record of the longest or biggest crocodile in the whole world and no croc has defeated it sadly it died and also the name of the croc is lolong and its age is roughly 100+.

Fun fact for you guys. US bought the Philippines from Spain for $20M during the treaty of paris. Somehow, most of the Filipinos during ww2 believed that it was the reason for the US to claim Phil as their territory.

Glad to know your interested on Filipino culture and related topics about the Philippines. I hope you share this to your fellow north americans specially the racists ones. They might have a different understanding on Filipinos and Asians in general. Instead of ranting being racist to Filipnos and Asians living in North America. Thus avoid physically hurting Asians living in your country. We Filipinos are very accommodating and share almost evrything we have with foreigners coming to our country. Having to learn a fellow Filipinos being mob or hurt by North Amerucans for mo reason really hurts. Even though we are not blood related. This hurt is felt by us because we care for our kababayan. Your interest with our culture would be more enlightening if you try to do as we do. Care for your fellow man regardless of whoever he or she is.
