A setrab and a mocal thermostatic sandwich plate some hose and some fittings should run you in the 350- 400 range, the other 3-4 hundy is the price the noobs pay for not having to measure anything. Oh and the cnc badged blocks 😂
Both horns should be kept, the reason that most cars have 2 is because each one has a different tone, creating dissonance which drastically improves the effectiveness. Plus they look really cool.
Nice install. How’d you fix the horn bracket issue? Just curious I like the small details. Have you thought about using the rubber cush mounts to secure the hoses to the frame?
So every time I see the supra I cross my fingers in hopes that you guys are gonna make it the next giveaway car would love to own one all over, mine was the 1984 celica supra and sadly I had to sell it do to medical reasons. I extremely enjoy watching you guys work super clean work
Did you have to mess with the thermostat in the oil block to get it to open? The cooler I have in my sti doesnt seem to do anything, my temps are still 200-220.
For sake of engine life and bigger boost (also tidying the engine bay, because Subaru engine bays have always been too cluttered) are you all planning on installing a front mount kit?
If I were the mount a oil cooler in front of the AC condenser, which side of the condenser should I mount it, passenger or driver side, so it least affects the ACs cooling ability?? FYI, There is no good mounts for the cooler, so it will be press against the condenser.
I just pulled off my oil cooler to replace the oil cooler gasket. It’s an 02 wrx. Do you know approximately how much coolant I’ll have lost since I didn’t cap the hose? Will 1 gallon of fresh 50/50 be enough to top it back off? Thanks!
Instead of bypassing the old oil cooler lines why don’t they just utilize those existing lines to run to the oil cooler eliminating the sandwich plate is there a reason I feel like the sandwich plate is a point for failure I’m just curious there’s lines for oil cooler there and they bypass it for there sandwich plate seems a little redundant I’m honestly curious for your opinion please enlighten me
Mi Subaru drop a lot water from the muffler could be oil cooler Ned to be change it please answer to me because I don’t want to spend money to change it
The wrx really doesn’t need an oil cooler when there’s really no power mods. I have an 05 wrx and it’s never gone above operating temp even when I’m ripping it
Mickey i know you may not see this however, DO NOT USE THE BLUE SUBARU OIL FILTER ONLY USE THE OEM BLACK one, the blue one (even though it is oem is not up to par and will sacrifice the life of the engine). Please upvote so that he can see this. Bless.

I was so pumped on buying this for my WRX and then I saw that calm cool price of over $700. Good god

I’m jealous of the set up. I been wanting that perrin kit for my 02 wagon since I got it. Great job 👌🏽, on making he horns fit. Keep up the good work.

If you plan on getting a fmic it would be cool to put the oil cooler up in the hood scoop
sizzlin pockets check out @jakefromvaded on Instagram. He did this on his wrx

Aaron Cauble they should cut the bracket in half and over under mount both the horns to the right side.
Mike from Last night No they just need a spacer behind to build up the height to clear the cooler
was going to say the same thing before i read that you already did
Nice work Mickey
Mishimoto radiator would be a big plus also.
Coming soon 😜

This channel is blowing up
Pretty slick install with those horns, I maybe woulda mounted them vertically if possible? Regardless, things look nice & tight.
Cheers, A
I love the beard transitions 8:50
You need both horns They are High and Low (usually) and blast in harmony
gen3v8 ikr I thought it was only me that knew and commented that
Does the core drain once the vehicle is turned off? If it does, does this increase the amount of time the engine runs dry on startup?
Did you have to mess with the thermostat in the oil block to get it to open? The cooler I have in my sti doesnt seem to do anything, my temps are still 200-220.
To anyone at throtl which oil cooler is better this one from this video or the missimoto one?

What if you have a front mount inter cooler how can you out the oil cooler
Yooo!!! my scuby bro gave me a sticker that is your logo and now I know what it is and where it's going. On the STI ASAP. Nice vid and community 👍🏼
Sucks so much that us UK throtl bodies don't get to win this awesome car man. Love the vids tho
Daniel Mason it also sucks if you can't even drive yet lol
Did you have a leak issue with this kit?

these perrin parts are making the suub look like a civic. easiest installations ever.

Really cool video :D Just one question, the hot oil line goes in on the top of the oil cooler or the bottom?
The supply line always goes to the bottom of the core
How about using standoffs for the horn bracket.
Throtl vip #BA squad 👍😊

Blackout the headlights next!
Did you notice that the original filter on the car was a Mazda RX-7 filter (newer model)? Should have stuck with it. #TokyoRokifilters
Keep both horns, try and move the oil cooler please.
Did you not watch the entire video?
my guy, we are subaru brothers
What about the hoses.. just over the col·lectors.. thats is not dangerous? It could be soo hot.. more than 100? Someone with knowledges here?
What’s up Mickey. You ever plan on shaving your beard 😂
hope not
LOL. No.
You can't go 1 horn, each horn is a different tone which need each other to sound properly
The apron almost looks like a sparco t shirt with red lines for design
Bad recording one hand camera holding
why does the oil filter say ENGINE?
Douwe den haan Subarus use a spin on transmission filter as well. My guess is so ppl don't get them confused
BIGGER TURBO BIGGER FUEL INJECTORS LETS GO BWAAAPPPP CHOOO CHOO CHOO 😂
Grand Poobah being a giveaway car im sure they don't wanna spend too much money, and also keep the good drivability
Chris Ruiz I guess you're right some fuel injectors can get up to $1000 etc must just be using their free parts from sponsors or something?
Grand Poobah yeah most of the parts going I to the giveaway cars are sponsor parts
Think would look better if all badges were removed

Cool kit but waaaay over priced, you can buy a decent short block for the same price 😫
nice video but I guess his shirt more important than his hands.
