A very honest video reflecting on your crash. Really great that Kawasaki played it very graciously and took care, so far, of all costs. Letting you post the video was another strong move by Kawasaki. Glad you are OK despite a bruised pride. All good in the end. Nice one Chopsie.
So long as your ok, that`s what`s important. Good on Kawasaki for not nailing you with a long bill of repairs. Looking forward to the superbike school vid..
Glad youre okay chopsie, kawasaki were really good about it and its good publicity for them if that attitude is extended to customers in the event of warranty claims.
I think the fact we're finding out how gracious Kawasaki has been to you, you're both gonna have a great working relationship. I felt like this was a nice therapy session. Stay safe Chopsie! Thanks.
You are an absolute GENT Chopsie. Absolute gent. Kudos to you for the way you dealt with the thing crashing sucks, but you took it like a true champ. Love your channel. Not only you are a great rider, you are knowledgeable and comes out as an honest, true to heart reviewer. Props to you for avoiding the soyface thumbnail youtube trend also. I wish you all the best, man!
Kawasaki are my new favourite manufacturer. The bikes in their stable. They've kept the super sport class alive. They got supercharged. Even a screaming 400c 4. 👍
Oops - what a tulip! ....and I'm with you on your reasons for not riding other peoples bikes. Anyway welcomne to the club - when I crashed the Zero DSR press bike a few years back I think it was the only demo bike in the country - that was an awkward conversation too.....got that T-Shirt! Great to see you out on the beast in lovely weather and lovely surroundings....must come and join you for a ride one day....
Used to happen to me regularly when I used to go to motocross practice days - that "one last lap" would always bite at the end of a long day. Glad you are okay and hope you get a bike for the road review!
I think you handled the situation well and by the sound of it Kawasaki were very gracious. You showed the bike in a good light too. Looking forwards to seeing the rest of the Hyper build.
It happens to the best of us Chopsy! I got moved to the fast group on a two day course at Donington in 1999 and of course tried to do what the instructors said not to do, keep up with the faster guys, inevitably I high sided my new R6 at craner curves, a costly but well learned lesson.
I'm very sorry to learn about your accident mate. I was watching another of your videos earlier today and you mentioned in it how big and heavy you are and I remember thinking to myself that, at that size, it must have an effect on the bike's performance, both in a straight line and in the bends. So my take from this is that you should not be trying to compete with riders who are, almost certainly, much smaller than you because you will come a cropper. All the best.
Not just a content creator… More like my favourite content creator from the UK. Plus the only one who owns and cares for an H2 motorcycle that sounds like an upset raccoon. Keep it up Monsieur Chops and wishing you a speedy recovery from the crash.
Good on you Chopsy, glad your ok . Honestly, not the bike’s fault. You could see in this latest video, a little aggressive with the throttle early and bam . Great tough lesson for us all . Kawasaki was great and showing the video , although mentally hard on you was good for those of us no where near your level of skill and character. Thanks for all you do , be safe . Pawlak
Glad you're ok. Don't be so hard on yourself. I just had a track day with Penguin Racing School in New York and we had multiple people go down. You're in the safest place to go down (unlike racing in the street). Keep up the great work.
And the new channel is “Lamb Chop Crashes” I think I prefer this channel, lol. You’re very hard on yourself, I don’t know anyone who does track days who hasn’t had an off! Glad you were not hurt and glad Kawasaki were decent with you, they had to be really, you’re a class act, you always treat everyone with the utmost respect, it’s nice they reciprocated 👍 The H2 looks and sounds awesome! 👏😀👍🏍
An honest self assessment, and just glad your OK . Kawasaki seen to be playing as straight as you are , letting you post the video shows faith in your judgment. I’m sure your relationship with them will grow . By the way just loving the H2 sound track! ( Glad your keeping her ) See you soon Chops .

Don’t worry about Kawasaki, although I know you appreciate their support, they are a MASSIVE worldwide business that can afford a minor spill. Vlogs are really good though - and increasingly under-rated in the world where content is increasingly driven by reviews and affiliations. Keep it coming Chopsie!
I'm glad that Kawasaki were okay with you, Chopsy. I totally agree that sinking feeling of having to tell the manufacturer you've broken their motorcycle isn't nice. I had a similar experience with a loan motorcycle from Triumph. Ended up dropping it. Hated the feeling. The Triumph dealership were very good, with the situation. I ended up paying the excess, but it wasn't a pleasurable experience. Thx for sharing your experience. G.

At 4:36 I'm glad you don't consider yourself an influencer.. Too many TH-camr's love to wear that title like a badge of honor and refer to themselves as an influencer. Not ever thinking about being a good influence or bad influence the day that they upload content to TH-cam. Just that they are an influencer and they kind of make it a dirty word. Glad all is well Chopsy these things happen and the fact Kawasaki have been so good is great news! Great ending by the way she sounds epic at full chat! 👍👍
I feel your pain Chopsie but if Kawasaki wanted exposure for the brand, they are definitely getting that. When pushing on a bike, car or anything accidents will happen. Even when we aren't, accidents happen. I know that you said that you don't like the term 'influencer' but you are an influencer in a big way and you have really shown the qualities of the Kawasaki brand. Hopefully Kawasaki realizes that this is an excellent opportunity for them. You are one of the best motorcycle reviewers out there and have really presented Kawasaki in a good light. Great Vlog, love your H2! Thought I recognised your route, I was just on the A272 my regular haunt, as just brought/changed bike to a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, enjoying your vlogs and great to see your local too! 👍😎👊 best Dwayne
I would have felt really bad too Chops, it just shows your a decent guy. Unfortunately it was a track day and these things happen your not the first and won’t be the last to drop a bike. When doing a track day isn’t the point to push yourself to improve your riding as an ex racer I’ve crashed so many times but always tried to learn something but it’s not always possible sometimes it just happens.
I think it says a lot about Kawasaki that they were not only fine with you showing the crash but also not holding you to ransom over the repair bill. A side note it was really refreshing that you were so complimentary of the zx10r given how hard the rest of the motorcycle press dog on it. I'm sure that you and Kawasaki will enjoy a mutually fruitful relationship.
I don’t feel you need to apologise for crashing a bike riding it faster and better than 98%of the people who watch the channel,no one is infallible,Marces has only just scored his first points all season !love the reviews
Never thought much of Bridgestone tires Kawasaki have always gone for cheaper tires. I bought a zx6r years ago with Dunlop 204 tyres on it and they were terrible. Just keep pushing on and keeping the videos going and everything else will look after itself 😊
Don’t beat yourself up about it mate. It’s fine. Happens the whole time and can happen to anyone on a track. And ultimately great publicity for Kawa. BTW did your airbag deploy? Best G.
That horrible sinking feeling knowing that you've got to ring kawasaki and tell them that you've just binned their bike.😢 Is nearly as bad as telling the Mrs that you will take her shoe shopping 😂 I'm glad that you've got it sorted Chops......it must be a nice relief buddy. 😊👍
I was reluctant to watch this because I don’t like to see bike cashes, but knowing you I thought it would of been a stupid mistake which most of us have done. Glad your ok and keep the vids rolling chopsey. I remember what Phil Read said to me, keep the rubber side down🤔.
Just wondering why the electronics didn't catch the lowside, were the electronics switched off ? I know the electronics can't catch everything, but did think they would have cut in at some stage when the rear wheel loses grip 🤔
Well chops your a very lucky boy regarding Kawasaki UK been so understanding and dealing with it so well. What I'd say is why don't you get some race farings for the k8 gsxr and use that bike for track days? I know you've bounded a bit with that bike but you'll have the hyper the Ktm 690 and the old zxr 750 h1 for blasting around the roads on and the lovely h2r of course on the odd sunny day twice a year. Keep the speeds down on the road have some wheelie good fun on the big sm's and use the big gsxr for track riding where you can really nail it.
Felt your upset Chopsy ☹ I think you covered the likely causes, bit tired, not leaning off enough to reduce bike lean angle, tyres not providing feedback...plus were probably past their best after 2 days on track....sounded like the peg touched down hard, so you needed more support at the rear. Good on Kawasaki btw 👍🙂
Always check what you're signing 😅 Good on Kawasaki to take care of it. I'd still love to see your on road review. Don't suppose they'll let me have a go... 😂 Glad you're keeping that beast
Accidents happen to even the best riders in the world so you can't be too harsh on yourself. It's good how kawasaki treated you afterwards and even a crash video can be good press when its just an accident.
Hi, it would be great to hear if you will be doing the road ride on the zx10r? There aren’t many reviews out there on the road so it could really persuade me to get one one day
Don't crash any more, we want to see a review of the ZX-4RR when it arrives in the UK! We were actually booked in to test the new ZX-10R and the Z900 about 2months ago but sadly we were too busy :/
Hi, I've been enjoying your videos I'm from South wales and have recently got a bandit I want to start doing vlogs, I was wondering what camera and mic you use please? Thanks
That seemed to be the leaning + throttle on the way out of the corner, even it was gentle, it was too much at that point for the grip of the back tyre . Kawasaki were five stars in the way they handled and your concern was impeccable too. Everyone behaved as full grown up people. A sad momentum, but with a happy end Story 👌🏻 More power for both parts!👍🏻
I think Kawasaki have got good positive milage out of this incident in the way it has been handled so I'm sure they are actually satisfied with the end result.Cheers.
Watched your crash a couple times. I think your peg was grounding out as you got on the power. Glad you are ok. Just pride that's hurting and sometimes that's the worst thing.
I don't think that you scraped the pegs, but you had too much lean angle, and when you applied the throttle aggressively you spun the tire, and the bike went around you, you were on the edge of the tire when you should have been stood up alittle more the moment u touched the throttle!!
@@LambChopRides I mean fair play for getting the pegs down on a zx10. The other riders must have thought bloody hell look at the lean angle he's got, that must be an awesome bike!
Chops I bought a new HD Low Rider ST and dropped it leaving the drive way the first time on it , thankfully the Mailwoman came by helped me pick it up crap happens and you go on , since my drop it has been ridden a total of 6 miles since march of this year
Glad you're ok and kudos to Kawasaki for being reasonable. Did you have the TC turned off? Having had a few slides where the TC caught it easily got me wondering.
Honestly I hope Kawasaki read these comments as it would push me more towards their bikes looking how they handled it. It's nice when a big company is run by actual humans. I already own a Z900RS and I'll buy more Kawasakis in future, this is just one of those small weights that help make a decision now added to the list. And crashes happen, it's an unfortunate part of bikes.
I totally understand. Braking or damaging something that doesn't belong to you really makes you feel guilty (well those of us who have souls) some people literally have no remorse. This also I why personally I don't like using other people's things. Obviously this is different for you as this is your work. Even for me to test ride a bike I'm liker errr. However if I purchased the bike I'm like full send lool.
You could see you took a tiny bit more inside kerb as you were leaned in, as you say if up near the limit then all it takes fella, I don’t track bikes only cars so kudos to you Chopsy 👊
Glad you came came out of the that crash OK Chopsie and all seems good with Kawasaki. Actually, it makes me want to try out a ZX10R and I’m not into race bikes! 👍
Mate these things happen, Kawi is prepared for these things. I know you feel terrible. As I would but this is part of the game. They've had people crashing the bikes for 70 years at this point.
whats your opinion of the ninja 400, im 30 and 6.2Ft and 20 stone, 30 years old looking to start riding, i like the idea of sports bikes but are 400s enough? and do you have any advice for new riders picking bikes thanks chops! love the content!
I do hope they give you another go on the ZX10 because I was really looking forward to your road test. Id never take a new or even a good used bike on track. I have been toying with the idea of getting a used track only Suzuki GSXR 750 but I live too far away from the track so it probably would never get used much.
I red flagged a session at pembrey on a Gsxr 1000 k8 about 10 years ago..... had to push what was left of the bike through the pits past all the guys waiting for the Marshalls to clean the track......still cringe about it now..... i feel your pain!
Good to hear your keeping the H2 Chopsy , I'd hate to crash anyone's. Bike myself 😮😮 and can hear it in your voice you feel sick about as well.!! But no one injured and bike will be repaired .👍👍
Tell you what between the crash video and this its really put me onto Kawasaki. I liked how that 10R was behaving before the drop and they seem to be handling this very professionally too. There aren't many dealers local to me but I may well have to go and find one now.
Remember, one can never sell at the top or buy at the bottom. By the time one knows either it's always too late. Sell into strength and buy into weakness. Keep it cos you desire it.
You crash your pride and joy bike, bleeding profusely, broken legs, arms at the side of the road and another biker turns up to help you and you ask them "is my bike OK?"
Here in Australia, if the frame gets scratched, the whole bike will be written off and can never be registered for road use. Bt, watching the crash in slow mo, it looks like you flicked the bike over BEFORE shifting your body weight to that side. When you subsequently moved your body while already at lean, the bike just tipped.
I think some track day rubber would have saved your blushes there Chops. The crash itself looked fairly innocuous. Maybe kawasaki should have factored that in for a track day. Keep up the good work, glad you're OK 👍
I think the fact we're finding out how gracious Kawasaki has been to you, you're both gonna have a great working relationship. I felt like this was a nice therapy session. Stay safe Chopsie! Thanks.
oem is just what comes with the bike as standard.. usually oem tyres are made on cheap and not as good as buying aftermarket.. plenty of road tyres good for track tho, just need to get some to match your pace, set up suspension to match weight and you're good to go

@@TheGorillaBikerthumpers for me.
If you are tall and a new rider a KLR650 would be a good start.
Vlogger is not! the term, you are correct in that you are a content creator for social media... its part of what I do for various companies
Thanks for influencing me on that.
Glad you’re ok, that’s all that matters.😊😊😊😊👍🏻
I do hope they give you another go on the ZX10 because I was really looking forward to your road test. Id never take a new or even a good used bike on track. I have been toying with the idea of getting a used track only Suzuki GSXR 750 but I live too far away from the track so it probably would never get used much.
I red flagged a session at pembrey on a Gsxr 1000 k8 about 10 years ago..... had to push what was left of the bike through the pits past all the guys waiting for the Marshalls to clean the track......still cringe about it now..... i feel your pain!
Haha yes not great is it 🤣👍
Good to hear your keeping the H2 Chopsy , I'd hate to crash anyone's.
Loving the H2 Chops 😊 ps what jacket you wearing?
It's the Knox Urban Pro jacket, link in description 👍
Sound of that H2 ❤ 🎉
Nice follow-up video Chopsy 👍
Silly question, but where are the mirrors?
Remember, one can never sell at the top or buy at the bottom. By the time one knows either it's always too late. Sell into strength and buy into weakness. Keep it cos you desire it.
You crash your pride and joy bike, bleeding profusely, broken legs, arms at the side of the road and another biker turns up to help you and you ask them "is my bike OK?"
Sorry about the crash - it is what it is, and glad you're ok. The H2 is a real good looking bike I'm "ded jel" lol. :>)
Pretty cool from Kawa. Pirelli tyres are awesome
Good news about the bike.
I’m sure Kawasaki will have you riding something very soon.👍
Your a braver man than I, like you said being tired is a big factor, 😢,
Here in Australia, if the frame gets scratched, the whole bike will be written off and can never be registered for road use. Bt, watching the crash in slow mo, it looks like you flicked the bike over BEFORE shifting your body weight to that side. When you subsequently moved your body while already at lean, the bike just tipped.
Chopsy noooo! I can't believe you filled up your H2 at BP... 😢 BP fuel is shite.. use shell or tesco momentum 10x better 👍
Who cares
@@juicy9592 people who look after thier vehicles..
@@juicy9592 the fuel could be considered one of the most important things to a engine so yeah it's kinda a big deal
EXXON/ESSO is even better.
@@kwakithailand no way.. watch fuel comparison tests on TH-cam.. best fuels are shell vpower and tesco momentum
I think some track day rubber would have saved your blushes there Chops. The crash itself looked fairly innocuous. Maybe kawasaki should have factored that in for a track day. Keep up the good work, glad you're OK 👍
Kawasaki has gone up in my regard 👍
Nice 👍 I can't remember if you talked about electronics on the zx10 and if you turned traction control off completely?
@JohnJayden-cl6eg wtf are you on about
Chapeau Kawasaki!!!!
I think the fact we're finding out how gracious Kawasaki has been to you, you're both gonna have a great working relationship. I felt like this was a nice therapy session. Stay safe Chopsie! Thanks.
What would you class as an OEM Bridgstone tyre ??? Or any other manufacturer, are you saying that you can't go on a track day with a road tyre ?
oem is just what comes with the bike as standard.. usually oem tyres are made on cheap and not as good as buying aftermarket.. plenty of road tyres good for track tho, just need to get some to match your pace, set up suspension to match weight and you're good to go
Yes exactly, these aren't the same tyres as you buy yourself over the counter
