I am also a revert muslim, I took my shahada two years ago. I used to struggle with drugs and alcohol, but reading the Qur'an helped me to balance my life.

Dear women of Islam. Read that
      1. Dar Tiba Volume 5, chapter 10, page 155 .”...and as for the punishment in case of sexual desire for a little girl who is not sexually committed by anyone because of her very young age: There is no punishment. and it is allowed to touch her even if her body and intimate area are not yet fully mature “
Remark: Do you like a pedophile for your daughter?
      2. Tafsir Al-Qur'tobi Al-Jaime' Le Ahkam Al Qu'ran Chapter Al-Noor page 146 Aisha said: "Do not give the women a room to themselves and do not teach them how to write but teach them from the chapter al-noor and teach them how to spin and sew"
      3. Sahih Al bukhari Volume 6, book 60 Hadith 408 Narrated By Alqama : “Abdullah (bin Masud) said. “Allah curses those ladies who practice tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those ladies who remove the hair from their faces and those who make artificial spaces between their teeth in order to look more beautiful, whereby they change Allah’s creation. "
Remark: Please do not cut hairs from your faces. Otherwise, you will go to hell. The almighty prophet said that.
      4. Does the prophet love woman? Suma Abu Dawud, book 12 number 2220 " Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Habibah daughter of Sahl was the wife of Thabit ibn Qays Shimmas He beat her and broke some of her part (bones !!, wrong translation). So she came to the Prophet (ﷺ) after morning, and complained to him against her husband. The Prophet (ﷺ) called on Thabit ibn Qays and said (to him): Take a part of her property and separate yourself from her. He asked: Is that right, Messenger of Allah? He said: Yes. He said: I have given her two gardens of mine as a dower, and they are already in her possession. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Take them and separate yourself from her. "
Remark: Islam loves women, what do you think??????
      5. Sahih Muslim Book 36, Hadith Number 6596. says: Usama b. Zaid reported that Allah’s Messenger (way peace be upon him) said: "I stood at the door of Paradise and I found that the overwhelming majority of those who entered therein was that of poor persons and the wealthy persons were detained to get into that. The denizens of Hell were commanded to get into Hell, and I stood upon the door of Fire and the majority amongst them who entered there was that of women."
Remark: With high probability, you are going to hell. Good luck.
      6. Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. "
Remark: As a Muslim woman, you have a deficiency of intelligence. You are a stupid person. I am not offending Islam; I am quoting Islam books.
      7. Volume 4, Book 52, Number 110: Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I heard the Prophet saying. "Evil omen is in three things: The horse, the woman and the house."
Remark: In Islam, you are an evil omen as a woman!
Sahih Al Kafi Imam Al-Bahbodi Volume 3 Number 46.
Reported by Al-Husin son of Mohamed of Ahmed son of Ishaq of Sadan , son of Muslim from Aubid, son of Zarah from his father and from Abdullah, Peace with him : “I mentioned Mut'a to him and asked if it is one of the four (permissible types of sexual relations). He (the Prophet) said: Marry a thousand of them (women). They are women who are rented.”

I'm a revert for about 7 years and still struggling also Sister. Eeman is up and down so it's ok to feel down sometimes. Just keep the 5x salah and know that Allah is with us. Also keep doing whatever is halaal to uplift your spirit. Dhikir help me if I become too negative. Lately I also learn that ADHD hacks help me with my everyday life. Stay patient with your jeehad on depression Sister, be happy because there's sawaab for our effort! Allah is watching us and help is on the way. Keep praying. ❤ from your Sister in Indonesia.

Assalum alaikum sister. I am a revert, a social worker in a hospital, and I really appreciate your story and insights and very real strengths. Sexual trauma is a game changer in life, and having severe reactions is normal. Islam can help us make sense of hurt and suffering, and the Quran and Hadith can strengthen us. May Allah swt strengthen your well being, your iman and your witness to Muslims who live with health and mental health issues. Jazak Allah sister. You have a new subscriber.

I'm happy you're still here with us and uploading such an important video. I hope this video reaches the people who need it 🌷 Thank you for sharing your struggles, your voice is so so important and valuable for those who are going through similar experiences. If anyone who struggles with depression or anxiety or any other mental illness is reading this, you are not any less of a Muslim for having these challenges, you're simply human and there's nothing wrong with that. Your iman isn't too weak, and it's not your fault ❤️ Keep fighting, keep making duaa, and know that no harm or pain befalls a believer that doesn't remove some or your sins. After all, Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."
If this life was meant to be easy with no obstacles whatsoever, then this life wouldn't have been a test, so always keep that in mind when you're going through a rough time. May Allah (SWT) ease the ache in your heart, and grant you all a clear, stable mind 🌹I love you all for the sake of Allah!

When i feel depressed, whudu then shalat. Its always work for me, to connect with water (wudhu) then doing movement (praying) and focus on something than my problem. After shalat, then I'd pray (complain, angry, protest, begging etc to Allah for 1 hour until my tears dry 😂) then I'd feel better and grateful for Allah the only one who'd listen to me.

Having lived through it and accepting that it is perpetually a part of life I realize that the antidote is always faith and efforts to increase our faith. That is "better for us and lasting " because that is the test of faith. Depression being one of the tests in life for our faith in Allah. Don't worry Allah places not a burden on us that we cannot endure. Sister, you mouthed the words about the endure part as I typed.. amazing.

The word for devil in the Quran, is Ibleess. Iblees literally means 'the despaired one'.
The word for human being in the Quran, is Insaan: the one who forgets.
Our forgetting and making mistakes should not turn us to depression, but if that happens, let it be as short as possible. No depression should make us be 'in despair'.
Alhamdulillah, now you're in continuous interaction with the Creator. InshaAllah, things will be way better, naturally.

I am not good in advise but I hope it will help.... Remember you will die one day. So don't make it hurry. If you fail try again. You have rest of your life to try. Suicide is not an option and never was. Hardship will come and gone as your life. Only god will remain. So keep faith in god and do your best as you can. Because in the end your success will come by your struggles. Success is not about this life, this is about afterlife.
