Jwittz :kurt, where pokeballs go, when they die!!! Me:4 real, he creates pokeballs and the only time a pokeball dies is when whiscash eats the master ball R.I.P. Masterball
Oh yeah, that would be awesome. I always love buying balls just to get these ones, and use them when I am shiny hunting or when I am trying to catch legendary pokemon. I actually have a Groundon, in one because it was my last 'good' ball after all I threw at it. It caught it. Just when it was gonna die with struggle as well.
If it fails after the 3rd shake, then it can't catch, since that's when the Pokémon is caught. I KNOW this Pokéball is supposed to be a joke, but try to make it somewhat useable...
I actually like the premier ball, it's my second favorite design(The first one being event only pokemon). In ORAS I've been using it to catch legionaries, when people talk about hard it is to catch Kyogre I state I had caught it with 4 SRs and 8 premier balls(SRs came from me running out of them).
Would love to catch legionaries too. www.google.co.uk/search?q=legionaries&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=1017&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=JC_aVKXYGoP_Ut7zg6AF&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ
I totally agree. I like like to catch pokemon I know I'll want to use in a special ball, and as the premier ball is the rarest least useful pokeball it makes it all the more special to catch something in it. I wish you could breed pokemon into different balls though...
Honestly, Heal Balls are my favorite Pokeball, mostly for aesthetic reasons as my team is Fairy type, but also I just like the idea of healing pokemon, if you wanna use the pokemon you just caught but don't wanna have to go out of your way to get to a pokecenter I also love Premier balls, but not because they're good or anything, but you gotta love a free pokeball.
horde ball: 2x catch rate (same as an ultra) but when used against a horde, will attempt to capture every pokemon in the horde at once. This would make farming for hordes with dream world abilities loads easier and would save that one guy who find a horde with multiple shinies in it.
Zero Ace I think it would split into 5, seeing as it would need to send pokemon to the PC separatly and leave some in your party if you have remaining slots
its crazy that this video is pretty much still completely true because we've gotten maybe 2 other types of balls in the past 15 years, with the beast ball and i guess the feather ball? maybe?
Haven't seriously played a pokemon game since black and white 2 when this came out but it's funny coming back and seeing just how little progress has been made
3:45 You forgot that when you've filled your party, Pokemon that go into your PC automatically get healed anyways, rendering the Heal Ball *completely* pointless.
The repeat ball is most useful if a Pokémon has a branched evolution and you want both evolved forms Edit: ok yeah I suppose it’s also useful for different abilities, natures and shinies, the only reason why I didn’t bring them up is because I don’t particularly care for them
I say we need to add a luck-based ball in the next game. People might be opposed to it, but I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet! Here's how it would work: This special ball would have a base capture rate of 4x. However, the ball will have 16 colors (one for each Pokemon type), and will turn one color when thrown. The capture rate is based on move effectiveness. (examples: Ball turns Grey to indicate steel. It will have a 2x capture rate against steel, water, fire and electric, an 8x capture rate against rock, ice and fairy types, and a 4x capture rate against anything else, assuming it's monotype. Let's say you use it against a Magnemite [electric and steel]. It would have a 1x capture rate! But let's say you use it against a Carbink [Rock and Ice]. It would have a 16x capture rate! Also, let's say the ball turns white to indicate normal and you threw it at a ghost, assuming it's monotype. OOPS! The ball will be unable to capture it!)
Joseph Bigham That's actually a great idea, except the fact that a base 4x multiplier will have to be, like, 3000 Pokédollars per ball. If you're going for the slot machine getup, realism woooo.
I have a few Pokeball Ideas: *Heat Ball/Magma Ball* - Works well on Catching Fire Type Pokemon or Pokemon found in Mountain Areas *Charge Ball/Magnet Ball* - Works well on Catching Electric and Steel Type Pokemon *Air Ball* - Works well on catching Flying Type Pokemon or Pokemon with the Levitate Ability *Vine Ball* - Works well on catching Grass Type Pokemon or Pokemon found in Forest Areas
Jack Corvi Yeah! I already had their effects worked out, it's just the first 2 I was having trouble deciding on a name for them. Also, I hadn't decided what the Catch Rate would be for each of them.
You'd think you wouldn't need 1 considering your supposed to weaken pokemon first before you catch them and fainted is the weakest s pokemon can get without being dead. Fainted pokemon should not b able to resist capture petiod.
Kurt can at least make the Friend Ball, which was the original Poké Ball to increase a Pokémon’s happiness before the Luxury Ball was introduced in Gen III
@@zachwillas6329 The Friend Ball is objectively better as far as I'm concerned. If you can catch a legendary with it you already have 200+ friendship by default.
I caught everything in dusk balls for years. Right up until I realized I hated how they looked and started using luxury and dive balls for everything instead.
5:32 if you enter the safari zone, leave, then immediately fly to cinnabar island and surf up and down the right coast, you’ll encounter Pokémon from the safari zone.
2:31 "Who wants to re-capture Pokemon they already caught" I dunno, maybe to pick the one that's the best out of all of them stat wise and release/WT the others? Plus it would help in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire with the DexNav.
Tec Gaming the worst ball is the beast ball because excluding the exception of ultra beasts the beast ball has a 0.01 chance of catching anything... including necrozma necrozma has a 3 percent catch rate anyway so necrozma has a 0.001 catch rate when exposed to a beast ball. So yeah...
Lesbian Ball X5 Modifier against Pokemon of the female gender (if you have a Female Pokemon in your team) and allows the ability for the Female Pokemon caught to breed with other females
Funny story about the premier ball, I was trying to catch Ho-Oh in heart gold, had 10 ultra balls 20 pokeballs and a premier ball. Ho-oh was asleep and in red health used all the ultra balls without success tossed the premier ball and caught first try. Others I've caught using a premier ball include raikou, entei, sudowoodo, and snorlax. Is it possible there's a hidden mechanic for one time encounters?
I remember reading something about that it's used for special events??? I'm not sure but I did capture the sleeping Snorlax in Pokemon X with a premier ball
+Shayne Robyn Your parents REALLY liked the letter "Y" or they truly believed in the incredulous idea that spelling names daftly will automatically make you special.
Robert Paulson Woow, talk about needlessly rude. It's a pseudonym playing on my actual name. Also, the same could be said for you and the letter o, see how ridiculous it is to insult people over vowels?
I don't know, I bought 80 premier balls for 15,000 pokebux and it made me instantly popular. And thanks to false swipe I actually get to have a nice stylish ball to put all my pokemen in. Unlike that awful looking ultra ball or dusk ball.
*1)* A Pokéball with a 1.5× catch rate that inflicts minor, non-KO'ing damage if it fails. *2)* A Pokéball that has an increasing chance of catching Pokémon with higher IVs. *3)* A Pokéball that increases its catch rate every time it is used in the same battle.
See, I'm actually OCD with my Pokeball designs, so I need to catch everything I can with either a standard Pokeball or a Premier Ball if it's special. ...Except Nebby. Nebby gets a Luxury Ball.
oh good it isn't just me... aside from my ingame pokemon I try to catch everything in a luxury ball. Now that balls are viewable in battles I feel the need to try to make them all match. x_x
2:36 For shiny hunters, who hunt for low levelled shinies, but I agree, that using an ultra ball is a bit better, if you aren't lvl 100 and the hunted pokemon is lvl 3.
Seconds Ball: Catch rate: 1 and a half times If one capture fails to capture the target pokemon, A second capture will activate immediately. Price: 750
I kinda want something like this: There's a new dimension, with an exclusive ball. In said dimension, it's practically a Master Ball. In the regular world, it's just a regular Poke Ball.
Over 7 years. I remember watching this before I went to school in 5th grade one morning. I’m now about to start my senior year of high school. Time just flew right by me, didn’t it?
The Cold Ball: Has a 3x catch rate on ice and water pokemon (4.5 if it has both the typings). The Tree Ball: Has a 2.5x catch rate on grass, ground, and rock (3.5 if has 2 of either grass, ground, and rock type) The Trap Ball: Like a normal pokeball with a 1.5x catch rate. If it fails to catch then the pokemon can not flee or use moves like Teleport for the whole battle (helps with shinies and pokemon like Abra, then you can try to catch it with something like an Ultra Ball)
***** buy it with token coins in the game corner. It's only like a 100 tokens expense which is equivalent to 1000 units of money. You can just buy that 100 tokens if you don't know the tricks to hitting a jackpot.
What all of these balls lack in utility, they make up for in aesthetic. People such as myself will breed Pokemon just for the Pokeballs they come with. Sure, you could have a shiny Loppuny, but what about a shiny Loppuny in a Love Ball? Pure aesthetic.
That's not a bad point, but I'd rather have a shiny with a good Ability, Nature, IVs and sometimes specific gender before I'd care about the ball. (And that's already way too many factors)
I love the way the premier ball looks though.
Makes a cute plush or keychain charm but as an actual Poké Ball it sucks!

Me:4 real, he creates pokeballs and the only time a pokeball dies is when whiscash eats the master ball
R.I.P. Masterball
Lol😂
Nero had quite the *case* of *pike* -a!
Here's the perfect idea that will load your pants.
Increased critical capture chance on a Premier Ball.
Mind. Blown.
THIS IS ACTUALLY BRILLIANT! SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE THIS REAL!
NO.
Blue Ball: always fails to capture after shaking three times
What happens if you buy 100 pokeballs, get 10 premiur balls, and get 1 premiur ball? XD
Kyle Pham Wat happuns if u learn to make sentences lol kek?
I totally agree. I like like to catch pokemon I know I'll want to use in a special ball, and as the premier ball is the rarest least useful pokeball it makes it all the more special to catch something in it. I wish you could breed pokemon into different balls though...
I actually caught giratina with that ball lol
Honestly, Heal Balls are my favorite Pokeball, mostly for aesthetic reasons as my team is Fairy type, but also I just like the idea of healing pokemon, if you wanna use the pokemon you just caught but don't wanna have to go out of your way to get to a pokecenter
I also love Premier balls, but not because they're good or anything, but you gotta love a free pokeball.
horde ball: 2x catch rate (same as an ultra) but when used against a horde, will attempt to capture every pokemon in the horde at once. This would make farming for hordes with dream world abilities loads easier and would save that one guy who find a horde with multiple shinies in it.
one prob one game has hordes maybe 2 cause if omega / alpha sapphire has them and btw ultra has 3X catch rate
So would the Horde ball hold all 5 pokemon, only catch a random mon in the horde, or split into 5 balls?
Zero Ace I think it would split into 5, seeing as it would need to send pokemon to the PC separatly and leave some in your party if you have remaining slots
***** Seems legit, but how would it act if Nintendo remade Colosseum?
sorry, I don't know colosseum too well, what are the potential problems with it?
The Beast Ball actually has a catch rate lower than anything else, at 0.1x, when used to catch a Pokemon other than an Ultra Beast.
Prescott do you realize the date
actually the GS ball is bellow it, having a 0.0% catch rate. you can't get the doggone thing open, for crying out loud!!
MoltenPheonix63 the GS ball doesn’t count, since it is not WIDELY available and was event only
I caught most lengends using the beast ball
Bruh, not even X and Y were out at this date
wishing the premier ball had increased chance of catching shiny pokemon. also wishing the net ball could have included flying types as well.
its crazy that this video is pretty much still completely true because we've gotten maybe 2 other types of balls in the past 15 years, with the beast ball and i guess the feather ball? maybe?
there are some differences tbf. Heal Balls are a lot better because the PC is portable and doesn’t heal Pokémon automatically anymore
I caught a mewtwo in a premier ball, a zygarde in a poke ball, and my cousin caught a giratina in a heal ball on the first try
I caught both Mewtwo and Zygarde at full health with a poke ball in X. It was tough to get tjem to stay in the ball
Actually, Im not. If you time pressing A correctly then you can pull off a capture. Try it
+Varlo ...
I caught Darkrai in Diamond with a pokeball because after my 7th reset I got annoyed and just threw one first instead of an ultra ball and it worked.
Issei Shimizu is your cousin Chuggaconroy.
"Thanks to Kurt we can't have nice balls."
I died there.
Kurt messes up peoples balls
My balls are horrible thanks to him!
Ethan Aldrete gigity
That sounded wrong. :/
lol
The repeat ball is most useful if a Pokémon has a branched evolution and you want both evolved forms
Edit: ok yeah I suppose it’s also useful for different abilities, natures and shinies, the only reason why I didn’t bring them up is because I don’t particularly care for them
or different abilities
breeding mechanic: am i a joke to you
Or a specific nature
also its useful for catching shinys
Shines Breeding
I say we need to add a luck-based ball in the next game. People might be opposed to it, but I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet! Here's how it would work:
This special ball would have a base capture rate of 4x.
I planned on it being on the pricy side, but not *too* expensive.
Good idea. Sorry to say this though, but there are 18 types. Also, carbink isn't ice. It's fairy.
Great idea! Game freak should do something like this.
Joseph Bigham That's a stupid idea.
Premier is my favorite. I like the colors.
same
It is beautiful
thats only aesthetically though
really? its all white except the middle rim thing which is a dull pinkish red
I would like a Pokeball good at catching evolved Pokemon.
Could be called the Evolved Ball.
DuckDude23 I saw you at dobbs's channle.
DuckDude23 yeah you right i do it to so i can spen more money than just buy a ultra ball
Hamza Hamza Which video?
contact gamefreak about that. it could be called the mature ball. because, you know, the pokemon have matured
5:18 Every Shiny Hunter during Safari Week
Also “Its cause of Kurt why we can’t have nice balls!” Lol that just sounded funny
I have a few Pokeball Ideas:
*Heat Ball/Magma Ball* - Works well on Catching Fire Type Pokemon or Pokemon found in Mountain Areas
*Charge Ball/Magnet Ball* - Works well on Catching Electric and Steel Type Pokemon
*Air Ball* - Works well on catching Flying Type Pokemon or Pokemon with the Levitate Ability
*Vine Ball* - Works well on catching Grass Type Pokemon or Pokemon found in Forest Areas
Good ideas, but too gimmicky
Jack Corvi
Yeah! I already had their effects worked out, it's just the first 2 I was having trouble deciding on a name for them.
Also, I hadn't decided what the Catch Rate would be for each of them.
ForlornSolutions Please don't joke about autism. It offends me, I have autistic relatives.
The air ball is for bad basketball players
Not The Chosen One
I seriously hope that was meant as a joke!?
"It's thanks to Kurt that we can't have nice balls"
-TheJwittz, 2013
Ey I just quoted that to my friends
everyone takes that the wrong way
Repeat Balls are good for shiny hunting, don’t rag on my boi
Its good but the quick ball is much better because it has 5× catch rate
the death ball: allows you to catch fainted pokemon
BEST.POKEBALL.EVER
And the cost is 10,000
You'd think you wouldn't need 1 considering your supposed to weaken pokemon first before you catch them and fainted is the weakest s pokemon can get without being dead. Fainted pokemon should not b able to resist capture petiod.
ikr
@@curtisirons7491 and like in the anime they used to FAINT the pokemon before capturing them....
My favorite part is when he said "ball".
Sympathy Ball- the closer your pokemon's HP is to the target's(by percentage), the higher the chance of success.
Kurt can at least make the Friend Ball, which was the original Poké Ball to increase a Pokémon’s happiness before the Luxury Ball was introduced in Gen III
I've always preferred the friend ball over the luxury ball.
@@zachwillas6329 The Friend Ball is objectively better as far as I'm concerned. If you can catch a legendary with it you already have 200+ friendship by default.
@@guguy00 Definitely one of Kurt's best poké balls he makes for you.
I once caught Mewtwo in a Quick ball
On the second turn
At full health
Quickman may win 😐
I caught everything in dusk balls for years. Right up until I realized I hated how they looked and started using luxury and dive balls for everything instead.
Me too
Quickman may win That's nothing. I caught it with a Premier Ball.
Well duh. That's how they work.
It's thanks to Kurt we can't have nice balls. That's sounds weird
Lol
ikr
The X-ball: catches horizontal pokemen
The Y-ball: catches left-handed pokemen
I think I should be president of gamefreak.
5:32 if you enter the safari zone, leave, then immediately fly to cinnabar island and surf up and down the right coast, you’ll encounter Pokémon from the safari zone.
GS ball? More like BS ball…I'll see myself out
YES.
thats what i was thinking! its probably a kids toy painted and glued shut
G.S Ball = The Glued Shut Ball.
Badum-tss.
2:31 "Who wants to re-capture Pokemon they already caught"
I dunno, maybe to pick the one that's the best out of all of them stat wise and release/WT the others? Plus it would help in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire with the DexNav.
Its really useful because wonder trade trade something you learn is cool later don't worry repeat ball is you friend for a very cheap bribe
Look at the date of the video 😂
Drew Sukova im gonna give you a list
of all the feks i give.
LOL jk
TheDiego908 i was joking! here im gonna edit it now.
oh sorry then
HAVE A PREMIER BALL!!!!!
Gameoyeah YOU GET A PREMIERE BALL!
YOU GET A PREMIERE BALL!
EVERYONE GETS A PREMIER BALL
YOU GET A PREMIER BALL!!!
STOP GET AWAY FROM ME
I was always so baffled by the moon ball. Do we really need a ball that is only useful in such specific and unlikely circumstances?
best ball is heavy ball for catching legendarys it has a 55% catch rate for dialga 1% health sleeping
Good to know!
So yeah...
@@markspencer1686 I caught a gible with it I'm a legend B)
I like catching team members in premier balls. They just look nicer than an ordinary Pokeball.
Rin Okumura that's what I always do.
i once caught Dialga with a Nest Ball
i caught it wwith quick ball
on blk2 my latios took to many ultra balls that o had to reset the game and get time balls for it
i got tapu lele in dusk ball
during the day
Lucy Herrick same man best balls re the best
Ok.... I'm not kidding... But I have caught 1/2 of all legendary Pokemon I could catch... With a Premier Ball.
Same here I caught a Zapdos with it
I caught palkia and reshiram with premier balls
BlueBlaze 413 I caught the Regi’s with Premier Balls
In OR/AS I caught Deoxys with a Premiere Ball
Makes sense cuz of how prestigious the legendaries are so give them the proper ball to be in
I like the regular Pokeball because it's the most satisfying one, knowing you caught that Arceus without any sort of crutch.
i never did that and neither did 60% of the people here

Lesbian Ball
X5 Modifier against Pokemon of the female gender (if you have a Female Pokemon in your team) and allows the ability for the Female Pokemon caught to breed with other females
lol
Blue balls: able to capture any male Pokemon that hasn't mated before.
SEXIST!
a little.
Make a rare Ball for rare pokemon.
Ore a new Ball for when you meet new pokemon WHO isnt in the pokedex.
ya man or gal
But... Repeat ball is great for shiny catching.
Exactly my point!
Repeat Ball isn't useless. It's just situational.
+Shayne Robyn Your parents REALLY liked the letter "Y"
or they truly believed in the incredulous idea that spelling names daftly will automatically make you special.
Robert Paulson Woow, talk about needlessly rude. It's a pseudonym playing on my actual name. Also, the same could be said for you and the letter o, see how ridiculous it is to insult people over vowels?
+Shayne Robyn if i want a shiny ill breed so i can atleast USE it in competitive
The repeat ball would be really good in pokemon go.
the repeat ball should be good for eecee
xDH4NNYx _64 it would be good for shiny hunting.
I don't know, I bought 80 premier balls for 15,000 pokebux and it made me instantly popular.
And thanks to false swipe I actually get to have a nice stylish ball to put all my pokemen in. Unlike that awful looking ultra ball or dusk ball.
The repeat ball is actually pretty nice when catching the same pokemon over and over again until one has good IVs
Take a shot everytime he says "ball".
no thanks
He said it 73 times I might be wrong though
Tipping_Player Games well you know what to do
Bullet The Beagle no thanks
Everyone: No thanks I like living
Russians: *Pathetic*
" To Kurt, its thanks the kurt that we cant have nice balls" im sorry but Im WAY too immature for this😂😂😂
I actually like the heal ball. It looks nice and it's useful for the first couple hours of a game before you've got a full team of six.
Premier Ball was actually the ball that caught me Cresselia, and it's on my main team, being level 100! :)
Beast Balls on a normal Pokemon only have a 0.1x catch rate.
Leppa Then how did I catch a Tauros in one?
You must have been lucky.
because they are only for ubs
Leppa I love the design of those balls
This list was made before Sun and Moon
Ball Ball: Steals all the oppnent's balls.
REAMIBES THEIR MANLINESS
*1)* A Pokéball with a 1.5× catch rate that inflicts minor, non-KO'ing damage if it fails.
*2)* A Pokéball that has an increasing chance of catching Pokémon with higher IVs.
*3)* A Pokéball that increases its catch rate every time it is used in the same battle.
For #3 they already have the timer ball. It's practically the same because its catch rate increases with every turn.
IAm19CharactersLong That face works so well with your comment
Love how its 6 years later and his video is still in my recommendations.
The Repeat Ball is actually not bad when encountering a shiny in a chain.
oh yeah i never thought about that
Grudge The Incredibly Kawaii Banette or catching Ditto's for breeding
The repeat ball had got to be the only good ball to catch Pokemon you've already caught: If it's a shiny Pokemon in a chain of Pokemon you've caught
Grudge The Incredibly Kawaii Banette Or trying to do that freaking annoying Unown side quest in D/P/Plt or HG/SS.
Grudge The Incredibly Kawaii Banette Or to catch eevee for its different evolutions.
See, I'm actually OCD with my Pokeball designs, so I need to catch everything I can with either a standard Pokeball or a Premier Ball if it's special.
...Except Nebby. Nebby gets a Luxury Ball.
When nurse joy puts in 5 Pokeballs and then an ultra ball... Ugh, I hate it!
Nebby may get a Luxury Ball.
My Shiny Umbreon(shiny chain) may get a Luxury ball.
But everyone else is stuck with Ultra Ball.
oh good it isn't just me... aside from my ingame pokemon I try to catch everything in a luxury ball. Now that balls are viewable in battles I feel the need to try to make them all match. x_x
yeah, nobody cares
Ultra moon I caught nebby with a moonball for theming
2:36 For shiny hunters, who hunt for low levelled shinies, but I agree, that using an ultra ball is a bit better, if you aren't lvl 100 and the hunted pokemon is lvl 3.
"Who likes catching Pokemon they already caught before?"
Me, catching and expanding my Shinx group: U-Uhm
Don't Forget About Shines And Breeding
Also Why Are You Doing That?
Seconds Ball: Catch rate: 1 and a half times
If one capture fails to capture the target pokemon, A second capture will activate immediately.
Price: 750
I kinda want something like this:
There's a new dimension, with an exclusive ball.
In said dimension, it's practically a Master Ball.
In the regular world, it's just a regular Poke Ball.
Dream ball(and any kind of ball on the dream world) meets those requirements
How about a Light Ball? 3.5x catch rate when daytime, 1x catch rate when night, and in a cave. Thumbs up if you like. (I know, you hate it...)
Needs a better name but I like the concept
yeah the light ball is an item that boosts pikachu's electric attacks so the name would not work but I agree it is a good concept
Sun ball?
How about the Dawn Ball? Since it would rival the Dusk Ball.
Take the effects of that "light ball" and strap it too the "dawn ball". LIke you said, it'd counter the dusk ball.
Over 7 years. I remember watching this before I went to school in 5th grade one morning. I’m now about to start my senior year of high school. Time just flew right by me, didn’t it?
"its KURT kurt who wont let us have nice balls" -TheJayWIttz 2013
The Cold Ball: Has a 3x catch rate on ice and water pokemon (4.5 if it has both the typings).
The Tree Ball: Has a 2.5x catch rate on grass, ground, and rock (3.5 if has 2 of either grass, ground, and rock type)
The Trap Ball: Like a normal pokeball with a 1.5x catch rate. If it fails to catch then the pokemon can not flee or use moves like Teleport for the whole battle (helps with shinies and pokemon like Abra, then you can try to catch it with something like an Ultra Ball)
that trap ball is an amazing idea though
*****
i used a normall pokeball and caught full health abra O_O
i was shocked in comma for 5 days then
then i saw that abra only has teleport and forgot that it can learn good moves when evolved into kadabra boom 10 days of comma
Repeat Ball is the most useful ball aside from the Master Ball now especially against G-Max Pokemon
lol, balls.
2:08 IT'S THE GAY BALL.
