Some people I know pack with those GIANT ziplock bags, like 2-3 gallons, roll up your similar clothing types & fill up the bag, close it except for 1-2 inches, then starting at the opposite end, PRESS out & then SUCK OUT as much air as possible! Next seal it shut quickly. Basically you have now vacuum packed your clothing and removed wasted space. Continue this with other items such as toiletries. Removing the air will really compact your items, & gives you so much more packing space! Blessings!

You're going to enjoy Namibia. I'm from South Africa but visit my parents in Namibia every year. Lots of cultures in Namibia including Nama and Afrikaners as well as Germans. Namibia has a population of around 2milkion so its generally sparsely populated. The people are friendly and inviting and as you know, very religous - mostly protestant Christians. In South Africa we also get lots of American volunteers at our wildlife sanctuary and sometimes a Rican people think south africans are rude but please be assured that it's not the case. People are just generally more reserved and quiet. That's about all I wanted to say. Except for enjoy your trip. Enjoy Africa. And keep us updated.

That happened to me in Paris and I almost missed my connecting flight 😂 only because they didn't believe my name was really Heaven. So they went through every item in my luggage. Hopefully that doesn't happen again!
