- Going on a missions trip any time soon?? Well if you are come pack with me :) I will teach you all my best tips and tricks for how to pack for a missions trip!

Such a fun video! Literally my best advice is your first point...take a small suitcase! It is awful trying to lug around a big one when on missions! Praying for you guys! have a wonderful time - Est X

Aw, I really enjoyed watching this! I've kept my eye out for packing videos specifically directed towards missions traveling for awhile now, and yours is the first I've found. Good job! Because I've been traveling for awhile I was curious to see if you would mention anything I hadn't thought of, and that sheet caught my attention. Hadn't thought of that - but definitely something worth considering if you have the room! :) Also, love your well-used Bible.

Great video. I have always wanted to go on a mission trip. My church is small and we have never done one. I'm a 36 year old mom of three boys and pray I can do atleast one in my lifetime. Pray for me that one day it will work out for my family to go, thank you 💕

Unless you checked your bag you would not be allowed to take those massive size toiletries with you so perhaps next time downsize on those then you could keep the case with you if it fits within the cabin size guidelines and it is makes the case even lighter to carry.I completely understand you taking your bible but the other books could be read on a mobile or kindle and journals etc can be left at home if they are large and tiny note pads taken in their place and either copy the notes when you get home or even stick the pages into the journal upon return. Mission trips are costly for the church so you would save money by going hand luggage only by making a few changes ,bless you and hope you continue with your good work xxx

I love packing videos!! Lizziesanswers has done a few. Lizzie went to Pepperdine, and served in Thailand with Let's Start Talking. I never went on a missions trip, but I spent 3 weeks in Mexico. My friend and I went, and we stayed with our mutual friend there. I learned a lot about Catholicism. This was back in 1998.

I would strongly recommend NOT packing full sized toiletries of anything for a week. Even most small sizes will last you for a month! If you’re traveling by plane, you would have to check that bag. If you’re not sure a little bottle is enough, do a test before you go and see how much you use of a toiletry in one week. One of my favorite hacks for facial moisturizer is using an empty contact case, and filling it. I even use a different morning and night cream. But compare two full size bottles and one little contact case! So much better!

Is it cold there?
How thick should my jacket be?
R there any other things that r useful to take there?
is it humid there?

Did you already go? If not... going in the summer it’s pretty warm just make sure to bring a rain jacket. If you’re going in the winter bring a winter jacket (just in case) as well as a hoodie :)
