    Growing up I was always a fan of Mike Tyson the fighter, but now as I've grown up, I'm a fan of Mike Tyson the Man. Such humility and humbleness. We can all learn something from him.

      I think Mike talks about how people are connected to their past and history. To be successful you must study your past but understand the past successes of the successful. Notice how he mentions that to be successful you can't really expect to do right by morality. Think about that for a second? He explains that a lot of his success happened because he colored outside the lines.

    ...it made me think about my father who is still alive and I realized at that moment that I still have time to connect with him and to stop blaming and start forgiving...

      True, live like it’s your last day. I had fear of loosing my grandma that I always made sure to hug her multiple times and tell her I love her. Even then I still miss her today and wish I would have hugged her one more time.

    It's very sweet what Cus did for Mike. If you've heard Mike talk much in the past, you'll know he pretty much thinks himself ugly, but often has a bit of a big ego in other areas, so Cus bolsters his self esteem about his looks and makes him humble in other areas, to try and put him on an even keel, this shows a lot of love and an insightful mind.

    To me Tyson is one of the most interesting human beings I’ve ever seen and even though he may come across as a brute sometimes this man is incredibly smart. His life is full of anecdotes that I find very entertaining. Great job Mr. Patrick.

      Might be one of his best interview's. Mike said something profound about generational wealth, that also Pat talks about. What's interesting is we are losing are inheritance of this great country. You can just tell that young people don't appreciate the sacrifices made to get us here.     Patrick, I was watching Tyson clips and realised what a challenging person he is to interview. His intensity and energy can change on a dime and it often flustered the interviewers. Your ability to keep him calm and engaged, was masterful! Well done mate!

      Tyson didn't like fake reporters asking him gotcha questions, trying to get Mike excited and change character instantly, just to give them boosted ratings.
      Patrick was asking him genuine questions, and stepped back to let Tyson tell his story.

    Growing up in Ocean hill Brownsville Brooklyn, NYC and seeing anyone that has Achieved to do something to make someone else look at life and see that you can do something Great with themselves it makes a great to see !!!     It’s absolutely amazing to be able to witness how someone who was as wild and feared as Mike, evolve into one of the greatest, most humble and openly honest people of our time. Mike truly has no idea the amount of people that he inspires, by being so honest about his life story. Not to mention, his sense of humor is freaking HILARIOUS!!

      I love how much he loves and respects his wife. Every interview I've watched, he speaks of his wife several times. He admires her and she's stuck by him through thick and thin. I think she was instrumental in helping him turn his life around. It's wonderful to see that he now knows real love in his life, and has.someone he knows he can count on.

    Patrick is such a nice guy which is why I really enjoyed this interview. I like his style. Also, Mike Tyson is always interesting. He used to scare me to death in his younger days. I'm glad he's living the good life, he deserves it. He was the greatest boxer in the world.

      I grew up watching Mike in the 80's. I understand now what the story of Holyfield. He wanted HIM as an opponent. He seemed ANGRY at that point. He wanted the championship so bad he'd take a major risk.

      That is one of the most crazy but on the nose statements about Tyson, I never knew what it was but the person being interviewed is one of the most intimidating persons alive and he’s in his mid fifties almost twenty years since he was champion amazing !

    Im so happy I discovered this human ( beyond the boxer ).
    I’m a female of 32, going through a very dark period, facing childhood pain, I relate so much with this man..
    I did not have parents and grew up with that hunger.. and always missed having a mentor, an guide, a guardian.. someone who would inspire wisdom, warmth and strength at the same time.
    Mike you got them 3 and thanks god’s after that fight in Netflix, I’m just here to learn from you.
    I cry listening to you and all I would want is to hug you so much..
