@@HunterAnsorge-ok9jk not completely, some of GSC game world branched off to make 4A games after the disastrous development processes of shadow of Chernobyl and clear sky. Gsc still has some original devs while some are still working at 4A.
Escape from Tarkov was inspired by Stalker, a Stalker Mod was inspired by Tarkov... we have come full circle Gentleman.
the first mod that combined maps from the original stalker parts was probably Stalker Lost Alpha. I recommend you take a look at STALKER OGSE, STALKER OGSR, True Stalker and many older mods. The Golden Ball has an incredible atmosphere, OP 2.2 is the most hardcore, and GAMMA - this mod rules. Greetings to the author and all Zona fans

Gamma usually steals the show but EFP seem to have its own things like cover and different gunplay
GAMMA steals the show mostly because the attention Drewski has drawn to it, many of GAMMA players are totally new people who never even heard about the OGs.
Gamma is updatet almost daily, and EFP is on life Support

Excellent video, thumbs up, I also really enjoy your Hell Let Loose tips/vids you do too. Getting into my mid 30s now, my desire to play super fast paced cracked out online pvp stuff where I'm left in the dust if I'm not playing it religiously like some do on some hella stimulants goes lower and lower...words really can't even do justice to how much I'd take Stalker Anomaly over Apex or Fortnite,etc lol. Nonetheless Hell Let Loose or Squad 44 (previously Post Scriptum), and even regular Squad. I'm just liking somewhat slower more tactical stuff now. I've been playing vanilla Anomaly for awhile now off and on, sat down the past few days and really grinded it and am going to finally do the main story now, when I finally finish it I'll definitely try EFP and Gamma out. Crazy how something for free can have SO much replay value, what these modders have done truly puts a lot of modern game companies to shame
Thanks mate! Totally agree. I'm also in my mid 30s and in a similar situation. Although, I do appreciate Rainbow Six Siege since it's also very tactical and - while competitive - more about holding angles than quick movement.

stalker isn't a tactical shooter, no matter what mods you install. and surely single player tarkov is the ultimate tarkov-like sp experience?
The devs only named the modpack Escape from Pripyat, because of some of the nice additions inspired by Tarkov, but it isn't Tarkov, devs even said they DON'T want their modpack to be Tarkov.
STALKER is a shooter where you have to use tactics to survive.

People like you misrepresenting stalker and never having played a real stalker game are responsible for the toxic tarkov larper subcommunity that plagues stalker today
I love the idea of STALKER but I just can't deal with the anomalies and mutants. I would love a modpack that just focuses on the fighting between factions with creatures and anomalies being much rarer sightings that are more like things to keep your eyes peeled for rather than shit you run into every 200 yards
thats a skill issue + play normal tarkov then newgen boy
im actually pretty sure that they have something like that where you can disable mutants idk about anomalies though

No its not Gamma is just survival and crafty all alone while EFP is more fight orientated and about gun fights ,and it is pain in ass to install Gamma,and always some kind of error i install EFP in 15 min

Depends on the zone you're going for.
GAMMA feels like a strait upgrade to anomaly in many ways but it's fat different from OG stalker. And a lot of people think it's a bad version because of it. If you want a more modern interpretation of stalker you go here.
EFP is an easier install, it's more combat oriented by far. So if it's mainly the combat you want, you go there.

Dude EFP is useless, I installed it and after 6 mins of gameplay I uninstalled it, I just couldn't walk 20 meters. The walking is so damn slow made my patience run out and the sprinting is even slower than the walk it's crazy and there was no missions after I selected story and I spawned in the outskirts in the tree apartments, nothing was on my PDA as story quests. Immediate uninstall. Pointless. Idk what's the hype about it why people love it so much
Both epf and gayma are useless. Og veteran stalker fans like us plays all trilogy games with mods and lots of soup mods like stalker soup, op2.1, 2.2, narodnaya solyanka, new arsenal etc etc
