That ghoul quest in the beginning scared the shit out of me the first time because I went to leave and I couldn't. A second later I was getting mauled by an invisible creature
17:27 but on the locations like Garbage or bar, there is vide lvl gap because of the resources and quests, also combo and science armour doesn’t provide nearly enough bullet protection as battle armour, so you always can be evaporated in seconds(honestly you can be down in battle armour pretty quick too if you unlucky enough)

The PVP battles in Cordan/Roadside were epic, nightly fights by the railway bridge with tons of people. Shaman's Boomstick was like the god gun of those fights. Also the people you shot in the face but no damage have spawn protection.
i did my best to try and enjoy this game a couple weeks back but I couldnt handle the amount of runningback. Spent days trying to finish up in the second zone and just kept getting duped by enemy bandit duos/trios. Running 10 minutes back to my body/quest point over and over killed it for me. Im grateful to see you were able to enjoy yourself and I very much enjoyed this video. Might go back for a redemption arc after this. Love ya DEEF!
im sure youre talking about roadside that place has a lot of pvp due too the enemies bases not being too far and a lot of quest involve you running into the other teams base side once you get some gear and learn what routs you like the most youll have a better time also if you want to get out of therer fast just do quest but be wared the bar isnt that much better lol you really just gotta find the best way to move through shit lol
if youre a bandit tryna farm run to agrocomplex if youre a stalker run to black willows from youre base there you should be able to farm in peace but some time enemie players can get lost and wonder to youre side of the map if that happens run back u have home field advantage dont get discourage accept that you will and can die when you leave base
it gets really better later on in the game south is a lot of running back and forth but when you enter north most of the areas are really close to the spawn points so there is much less running back and forth
1:02:35 u cant do damage to players when they come from another "zone" as u can see when u leave from the bar It says at the top middle of the screen that u have 15-20 secs of spawn protection

The devs where also sneaky in how the set you up for pvp to since 1 of the resources you need for upgrades are dropped from the opposing factions NPCs. There not to far in to the point your not ever going to progress but still far enough in that you can easily run into a player going to do there own thing. Sadly people don't like dying so you more often then not will not be up for negotiations. Same quests even have you going to the same place so be prepared to have a stand off on who leaves the building first.
Yeah realised this after, the same protection I had the entire time after leaving a base. Guess I was in the throws of the action going on and forgot 😅
Honestly, 100% worth it. You can easily lose 50-60 hours in this without even realising, and then some. Longer if you're taking your time even more so.

From what i heard the game matches you with other players based on your gear score. So if you dont want to face enemies and just courier or something maybe using low tier weapons and armor would help.
No, using low level gear again won't help. If you equip the high level gear once, you reach a new level, and you can't go back even if you equip low level gear.
Just a friendly reminder, 50 hours in stalcraft is still considered a completely 'new player'. I'm 550 hours in and still plenty to learn and do 😂 still asking lots of questions in chat and on reddit. Great game, one of my favorites. Great content! There is definitely a vacuum for content if you decided to make guides, walk throughs etc, your content is of a great standard so it would be a big hit if you did. There is no dedicated wiki for quests etc so players are always interacting to gain info. My stalker character is called 'Valance_' 👍 He is end game frontier. I also have an endgame Mercenary lol.
It's called Silver Maple - The Farmhouse and it's on Epidemic sound. So if you're making vids, you can actually license the song for use in them! You can technically do it for free if you time a free trial with them right. Check link in the description (it's my affiliate link but it gives you 30 days free trial). My best tip is, the day you're going to launch the video, activate the trial then, and download the song off TH-cam or wherever beforehand to use in your video, so you're not running the trial before launching your vid. Means you've more time to launch more videos with music from ES!

Played this on launch and haven’t played since. Just wanted a fun co-op experience with a friend playing stalker but it just ended up being cod/battle field with a Roblox styled stalker coating. Not saying it was bad but it wasn’t what I wanted at all and I still wait day by day twiddling my Willy till the day I can play stalker with my friend

its really not that bad tbh if youve played the game and really thought it was cheater holding you back then ur just flat out wrong and are objectively playing the game wrong i am no way trying to disrespect you im just tryna get my point across that in my 400 hours of mostly pvp (and im in the north zones now in a clan) ive never ran into someone who im like oh yea hes for sure cheating but im sure cheaters exist on stalcraft but to be fair there on every game
im 90% sure cheater problem is basically fixed, every time they release the monthly ban list it get shorter and shorter and i dont believe i have met a cheater in game yet (500 hours)
You don't lose your guns or gear you're wearing, nor items or gear that are bound to you. But if you've been looting and collecting valuable items etc you'll lose that stuff. Definitely a less punishing way to play, though punishing in it's own way for sure

Highly recommend people go bandit instead of stalker. Way less stiff. People seem to have fun. They're chill cats who will meme and RP with you. Stalkers will frag your shelter during emissions and say nothing else waiting for it to pass. Guys seem to play for the grind, and have lost the easy way of fun.
@@theriveracis5172 I ran into a few nice Stalkers, never experienced people acting rude. I don't think that's so much a Stalker as it is an asshole, which sadly are rampant in any free online game. Made "peace" with a few Bandits in my time too. There's good players out there on both sides of the fence 🩵
@@deefactualI'm not saying they're mean necessarily. Just that they by large're in it for the grind. The example on the shelter thing is more to say they do the pragmatic check but don't actually say anything otherwise. People on the stalker side will definitely help you out, teach you new things and all. But it all seems a mile more serious, which I'd say boils down mainly to who would pick 'bandit' to begin with. I should add; I mean that starting out, try the bandit faction for a more 'lively' community. Nothing wrong with having a char in both after all. But for early on, community is great before you really 'click' to the gameplay.
The matchmaking does NOT work with gear level, it works by taking the highest rarity gear you've ever equipped, if you've equipped a master tier gun, you'll permanently be in master tier lobbies, regardless of if you unequip it and put on a shitty pistol. You'll still be in master tier lobbies. The gear score does absolutely nothing, it's just a number. (Coming from someone who's been playing for 2.5 years)
The game is open PvP and you can buy power with real money. I am playing this because i like the STALKER theme. But i also know that im food for paying players. Just to you know what are waiting for you.
Well, not really, often times players who vought their gear with the credit card get cucked instantly because their gear score skyrockets and the gear is not much different from the free stuff (often times it's even worse). You can get weapons and armor, but you can't card swipe your way with artifacts, which are one of the most important aspects of your 'power'. + you can't buy awareness, map knowledge and aiming skills. Been playing completely f2p and it's fine
It's a lot of fun! Surprised me tbh, and gun play feels nice too. As an old DayZ fan and stalker too, honestly feels like the right balance of survival with a little bit of horror peppered in. If you watch my moment with the ghoul, you'll know what I mean 😅

the game is a loooong running simulator also roadside should take u atleast a week to finish until ur ready for the bar

If you open your inventory you can press 1-9 and bind shit then hold c for a wheel makes it easier to bind weapons and swap to them faster.
I loved stalcraft before the stalcraft X update, stalcraft X is still amazing but the game beforehand just had something to it that I miss
this game is genuinely a little gem. Has better gun play than most AAA shooters.

There is definitely a vacuum for content if you decided to make guides, walk throughs etc, your content is of a great standard so it would be a big hit if you did. There is no dedicated wiki for quests etc so players are always interacting to gain info.
My stalker character is called 'Valance_' 👍 He is end game frontier. I also have an endgame Mercenary lol.

It's called Silver Maple - The Farmhouse and it's on Epidemic sound. So if you're making vids, you can actually license the song for use in them! You can technically do it for free if you time a free trial with them right. Check link in the description (it's my affiliate link but it gives you 30 days free trial). My best tip is, the day you're going to launch the video, activate the trial then, and download the song off TH-cam or wherever beforehand to use in your video, so you're not running the trial before launching your vid. Means you've more time to launch more videos with music from ES!

Played this on launch and haven’t played since. Just wanted a fun co-op experience with a friend playing stalker but it just ended up being cod/battle field with a Roblox styled stalker coating. Not saying it was bad but it wasn’t what I wanted at all and I still wait day by day twiddling my Willy till the day I can play stalker with my friend

I hear that, they've been hard on banning cheaters and I thankfully never ran into one during this particular week, haven't to date either! Knock on wood that's a very good sign.

its really not that bad tbh if youve played the game and really thought it was cheater holding you back then ur just flat out wrong and are objectively playing the game wrong i am no way trying to disrespect you im just tryna get my point across that in my 400 hours of mostly pvp (and im in the north zones now in a clan) ive never ran into someone who im like oh yea hes for sure cheating but im sure cheaters exist on stalcraft but to be fair there on every game
im 90% sure cheater problem is basically fixed, every time they release the monthly ban list it get shorter and shorter and i dont believe i have met a cheater in game yet (500 hours)
I have 140 hours in the game and I can barely recall seeing a single cheater in that time and even that was sometime at the end of 2023

What's the consequence for death? You don't lose any gear at all? That makes pvp much more palatable.
You don't lose your guns or gear you're wearing, nor items or gear that are bound to you. But if you've been looting and collecting valuable items etc you'll lose that stuff. Definitely a less punishing way to play, though punishing in it's own way for sure

Highly recommend people go bandit instead of stalker.
Way less stiff. People seem to have fun. They're chill cats who will meme and RP with you.
Stalkers will frag your shelter during emissions and say nothing else waiting for it to pass. Guys seem to play for the grind, and have lost the easy way of fun.
@@theriveracis5172 I ran into a few nice Stalkers, never experienced people acting rude. I don't think that's so much a Stalker as it is an asshole, which sadly are rampant in any free online game. Made "peace" with a few Bandits in my time too. There's good players out there on both sides of the fence 🩵

The example on the shelter thing is more to say they do the pragmatic check but don't actually say anything otherwise.
People on the stalker side will definitely help you out, teach you new things and all. But it all seems a mile more serious, which I'd say boils down mainly to who would pick 'bandit' to begin with.
I should add; I mean that starting out, try the bandit faction for a more 'lively' community.
Nothing wrong with having a char in both after all. But for early on, community is great before you really 'click' to the gameplay.
The matchmaking does NOT work with gear level, it works by taking the highest rarity gear you've ever equipped, if you've equipped a master tier gun, you'll permanently be in master tier lobbies, regardless of if you unequip it and put on a shitty pistol. You'll still be in master tier lobbies. The gear score does absolutely nothing, it's just a number. (Coming from someone who's been playing for 2.5 years)

The game is open PvP and you can buy power with real money. I am playing this because i like the STALKER theme. But i also know that im food for paying players. Just to you know what are waiting for you.

Well, not really, often times players who vought their gear with the credit card get cucked instantly because their gear score skyrockets and the gear is not much different from the free stuff (often times it's even worse). You can get weapons and armor, but you can't card swipe your way with artifacts, which are one of the most important aspects of your 'power'. + you can't buy awareness, map knowledge and aiming skills. Been playing completely f2p and it's fine

It's a lot of fun! Surprised me tbh, and gun play feels nice too. As an old DayZ fan and stalker too, honestly feels like the right balance of survival with a little bit of horror peppered in. If you watch my moment with the ghoul, you'll know what I mean 😅
