Awesome recipe and because I'm the broccoli casserole Queen...lol. I just wanted to suggest you saute the broccoli with some onions olive oil/butter and seasoning verses boiling, adjust your seasoning in your cheese sauce, of course. it will take this recipe to another level.

When I tell you my granddaughter walked down the the hall pasty room to go eat and had already been given a taste..home girl sang and danced down the the hall. FIVE stars this recipe is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤11 months
I had that last time for my old school's Thanksgiving Lunch as well as Roast Turkey, stuffing with gravy and cranberry sauce, mashed potato and pumpkin pie. Everything is so delicious makes me get hungry for this.

Might be a stupid question....I wanted to make this but as a "stovetop" version not as a casserole. Would I have to make changes to the ingredients as I cook this or is it fine to make it all the same & just stop where you put it in the oven?
This looks delicious, and I love the combo of broccoli and cheese! For our Thanksgiving vegetable of choice though: My parents are from northern Maine, so we like to have fiddleheads. You can't get them down where we live, so my Grandma always sends some down to us so we can have some for Thanksgiving meal (and we usually get together with two other families from Maine, so they all grew up eating fiddleheads)
@@martna1 Yeah, in North America it's mostly only found/grows around Maine and Canada, so I guess that's part of the reason why it's special to my parents, because it's a unique regional food they grew up with
