I'm not sure what thought process led you to that. Atmospheric pressure is 14.7 psi. This engine naturally aspirated (14.7 psi) makes around 300whp. So 2 atmospheres with 0 parasitic loose from driving the blower would make 600whp. That would be 14.7 psi of boost. Knowing the blower takes energy to spin, and the air becomes hotter (less dense) as it's compressed. This number is right where it should be.
I’m disappointed in the power. I have the same setup but I’m running a novi2200 SL full bolt on but stock engine on 14psi mine made 596 on a dyno jet. Maybe it’s the intake manifold killing the top end power because most of these make 800 plus on good fuel. I’m running Eldebrock intake with long runners, it really made a difference on mid and top end power, but currently doing same engine with flat top pistons and ported heads and aftermarket valves. Excited to see what it makes later this year.
I dont remember. But that data wouldnt be very helpful for you anyway. This being a stroker it will have a different timing requirement thans a stock bottom end. Also other things like intake air temp have a large effect on what your total timing would be.
@@ForceEngineering I didn’t realize it was a stroker. I have a new set up now idk why I’m just seeing this. I have a 76mm bullet wheel and tuning at 20psi now.
Man those are some pathetic numbers for an F1A procharger and built 3V, should be in the high 700's to low 800's easily. My 3V made 680whp with a tiny ass 2.3L Edelbrock E-Force @ 16psi on a hot 93 degree day. Lol ! Something not right here imo.
Couple notes. This was at only 6k rpm, it would make more with more rpm. Also, you cannot compare dynos. That base tune that made 601 made 680 when owned by the previous owner on a different dyno. You can not compare dynos. Just did a video on this. th-cam.com/video/4Bm1AQI8uE0/w-d-xo.html
@ForceEngineering I get you can't compare dynos but it won't be 200 hp off from dyno to dyno. These are very low numbers for nearly 20 psi. With an F1a. I will show you some numbers soon. Just swapped in an F1A-94 12 rib on my 3V, 4 inch pulley, shooting for 1000-1100 whp. UPDATE: It made 1027whp SAE @22psi. DA 1400ft
Awesome!!!
Nice looking car
18 psi only got 600hp? I thought that would push up to 1000. Does this kit need to be reved really high to make solid power?

Not everyone wants a dyno queen 😮😊

What transmission. The 3650 cant handle that right?
It can but not for long depending how they drive
How much total timing? I’m running a basically stock 3V except for rods on E85 70mm turbo on 18psi with about 20-23 degrees of timing.

How much would this setup cost?
35-40k
