- Next generation of drumming.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) - บันเทิง
This is what a professional crazy person is like without blowing up in your face :D This guys GREAT!
So many different sounds, and so much control over all of them!
WOW
Frikken' cool! I really enjoy listening to a talented rhythmist. THANK YOU
BEAM-US UP SCOTTY! YOUR BLESSED WITH SOUND HAPPIER NEW EARS.....YAAAAA--GOSAYFORMAN!!!!!!
lol I hit my hips all the time as a drummer and my dads always like "I'm not paying for your hip replacement"
5:11 he whacks his hand and the "OW" is in rhythm lmao
llmmmaaaoo such a cool guy
Would be fairly strange if it was any other way.
Hahaha
He's such a nice human being, I just wanna be friends with him and discuss life. I just saw a drum talk on Drumeo youtube channel, and I just was amazed on his view on life and music and so on.
I live in the same city as him... Talented dude... But shows it off way to much. Broke one of my friends drum heads at a birthday party while showing off. Didn't say anything. Just left :/
He’s my uncle. Great guy. Super nice.
Excellent Han Bennink tribute.
Fantastico, la vera ricerca timbrica e sonora. Sono estasiato. BRAVO
Masterful & creative !
love this guy!!
WALTER PERKINS!!!!!!!!!!!! Did that stuff years ago! Very good.
I love the innovations
He is as beautiful of a person as he is a musician.
I slap myself in the face for a living
The world didn't know it before this video came out, but this guy, J Rabb, and Benny Greb were triplets when they were born........Maybe they can reconnect, perhaps? Great stuff!!
If the three play together I'd be happy to die right after that, for my life will be complete.
This guy is awesome!!!!!
We are the musical instruments
5:13 AU xDD killer!!
Great!! Who said you need to play an instrument to be able to play music? Wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing!
Ellie Meli -&^
Yeah, I'm sure this guy would be able to perform a 2-hour show with only a fork and and frying pan...
The Body is an instrument.
Singing? The body can make an amazing amount of different noises. It is an instrument and further more it’s a musical one.
The body is an electrical instrument with our senses being our receiver/amp and consciousness being both the composer and audience.
Maybe... I don’t know... I am pretty damn high but that doesn’t mean I’m not high.... wait.. i forgot the question?
LOVED IT MAN!!!!!!
How can I communicate you
Who else used their head as percussive instrument after this?
I did so when I was a child, stting on the loo. But I may do it again, now^^
Myself
Been doing that for ever , since childhood.I am now 51.
That's audio ART
Hermann Bläsing aka music
Amanzing.
going to steal all his ideas and textures and nobody is going to stop me.
He hasn't apologized for ripping off Han Bennik and Chris Corsano, so you should be totally in the clear
Alex Pandamann how did it go?
GENIUS!!!!
muy didactico che!!! ya veo a los pibes, llevando al ensayo este tipo de cosas!!!! quisiera ver la cara de los musicos con los que comparte la musica!!!!
So this guy gets paid to do this, where do I apply???
Check out his solo work at Drumeo and you would see you can't even get the application for his job son ..lol
Im a drummer.. and this is insane..
Okaaay... what does you being a drummer have to do with this being insane? Lol. Just wanted people to know you play the drums?
weird type of magician but I love it.
Does that man do the Log Jam too?
I'm I the only person that realized he was doing 32nd note splits between both of his feet and hands? Maybe it's because I'm a bass drummer.
Should probably be titled: different ways to to hit stuff.
aw man, that's hip! xD
I was enjoying everything until the 10 minute mark when the background feedback kept getting louder and I got too distracted to finish the presentation.
same
WOW !
Did he motorboat a snare?
It's what fuels his passion. He does it often.
That looks like a Matt Nolan ride.... ?
Sir I really wonder
....that moment when he plays his forehead... O.0
saw it... cool.
wow baye bareda
GENIUS!!
scun scun cuta scun cuta cuta ....prrrrr UPS
does he KNOW where that drumstick has even been?
matycee he just put his right foot on the drums and then put his mouth and did vrrrrrrrr on it!!haha
what the fuck the ride bending?!?!? fuck me!!
Using a bit of Indian technic to dampen the sound. Clever.
That started in India?
He is pretty cool when on a full kit but I find his rhytms a bit dull for someone who calls himself a rhythmist.
Y'all think this is genius, wait till you see him behind an actual kit...
ASMR done right lol
vs world
You're my soulmate
he doesn't have a story, not in his playing, not in his words
well this is what creative means
go to Australia
Jaylan Knapp whats that sposed ta mean?
Need a deesser and EQ
Han Bennink
Gimmicks and patchouli
You’re trolling is less original than anything he did
That poor cymbal...
Poo oops
Dude's hair is...uhh...it's...

what a pity
Hes talented but awkward somehow.
Donald Tarter same with John Mapes! He is a really great guy, but he’s a big doof
He’s less awkward in person though 😂 he’s my uncle
SlothRevolution must be fun family reunions! Seems he would have trouble standing still, he has great energy
Amy Mamabear yeah lol
SlothRevolution my 16yo son was one of the students selected to participate in John Mapes clinic at PASIC, my son was in heaven at Pasic
You can tell by the audience faces, They are not impressed
SO WEIRD OMG
Very annoying sound , please stop,
Sorry...but this too annoying
I'm shocked anyone saw any of this after a boring 30 second intro
