Thank you guys so much for 50K! I’m so stoked to have y’all along for the ride and I can’t wait to share what we’ve got coming this summer. Cheers, homies!
Thanks for these AWESOME videos !! Ya'll are living the life. I was in the Air Force and stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls in the early '60s for 3 years. There, I learned how to fly fish. Not a lot of fishermen back then, caught some monster trout. Nearly ever weekend we fished somewhere, from Bozeman to Glacier. Was in business for myself in Texas in the '70s, managed to take off for 30 days a year and return to the Big Sky Country. Now I'm 81 yrs old and watching your videos bring back all those memories from the land that I love, truly God's country. Thanks again and ROLL TIDE ROLL !!
I was stationed at Malmstrom from 1972-74. I too loved the country. Learned catch and release. Left in 1974 came back in 1978 and graduated from MSU in 1982. Just God's work. How 'bout them Dawgs!
Sir I’m 31 years old and you and what we call a Legend. I can only imagine all the good stories and times. I’m from and live in western Montana in the Flathead valley. Beaautiful
I know I am late to this party. But the trio is the deal. Fishing is fishing and you have terrific scenery, great friends, beer, good food what more do you need. What memories you are making. Cheers boys!
Makes me want to move to Montana so bad! Thennnn I realize that being wilderness and not urbanization is what makes Montana worth traveling to so I stay in California instead of ruining another state.
I can't remember an excursion I've enjoyed anymore than this one! Thanks so much. Your easy attitudes and comfortable friendships had me from the first launch to the last cutthroat!
Another thing I like is that you kept the bus old paint. Just drive like the way it was. Plus it's cool you tie flies, and sell it to the public! I'm just learning how to fly fishing, it's a challenging fishing experience!!!
Damn, I miss living in Victor. Big Sky Brewing hasn't changed.... Even in the dead of Winter, I would stop on the way home from work to fish the Bitterroot EVERY single day. I LOVE Montana!! 🎣
You can see the heart of what goes into making/creating/editing these vlogs! I'm hoping to be on this level one day, keep up the amazing work! Also, Montana is a DREAM adventure; ONE DAY!!
Phenominal film man! It's not easy to create a cohesive and engaging fly fishing film, so I really appreciate the effort! Had a blast watching and can't wait to get up to Montana one of these days!
Unbelievable production. Loved every aspect of the trip. As a married father of 3 (from Muscle Shoals, AL living in PCB, FL) I will have to vicariously live through you guys until retirement lol. Keep on keeping on!
My husband had this video on TV and I couldn't help but hear you giving a shout out to your supply vendors as you were waiting for a UPS shipment. Maybe you could give a shout out to UPS for coming through with your shipments in a timely manner also. They work diligently under pressure to make many people happy! Besides that our son works for them😂. Great video!
I have learned the hard way you have to have a certain type of people around you to do this. I have had small weekend trips when people wuss out. You guys are rockstars!
The crazy thing is I’m watching this being from that area in the begging so seeing you guys there and knowing exactly where y’all are at is crazy to me! Keep on fishin boys!!!
Dude, being a Montanan and living in the area that you guys visited, it was so so cool to see! You're doing awesome work and having fun along the way! Cheers, lads! -Brad, from Helena, Montana
I am from Montana and I have been a big fan of you guys since you did your last out West video and am happy that you guys show how beautiful Montana is. Keep up all the amazing work.
What an epic adventure. Enjoyed the camaraderie, the scenery, and the food looked awesome. Nothing like watching you guys making things happen to get my fishing juices flowing. Thank you for all of your hard work bringing this adventure to us. You all make it look so easy. Until the next adventure, tight lines, Cheers!
Its about 30 degrees today in Tennessee but after watching this and the new Alaska video I'm getting out and heading to the lake to fly fish. These videos are so inspiring
Awesome trip in a short bus! What a great way enjoy fishing trip with your friends 😀 😊!!!! I like how you turn bunk beds, as a storage as well!!! This is so cool, I love it!!!! God bless you and your Familys and friend's!!!!!!!
I saw you guys on the road last year driving by and thought, “damn, that’s sweet!” Then I happened upon Wild Fly and realized it was you. Only thing making it better was seeing a fellow Crimson Tide fan. RTR!
I am glad you included the slow days of fishing. That’s fishing, sometimes there are days you don’t catch 50 fish in a day, and you get skunked. However, that brown you caught on a dry fly on the Mo, Fish Of A lifetime. Good Job. On another note, Editing that film must have took an enormous amount time. Can’t wait to fish Montanna Again.
Wish I had friends that were down to go on trips like this lol instead I just fish on the weekends alone from time to time. You’ve inspired me to find some new fishing friends to share memories like these with! Such a cool video guys thanks for sharing
Awesome video. I have a 74 dodge sportsman 19’ rv I’ve been building for fishing and camping trips next year. I put solar panels on the roof with 2 100ah lithium ion house batteries for it and so far the solar power has been awesome. Plan on hearing it with a small wood burning stove. Built a kayak rack to hold 3 of my kayaks on the back bumper. Pretty excited to have it for an adventure rig for next year.
I have gone to Ennis, MT for a fly fishing trip, it was so much fun, definetly go to beartooth lodge the next time you go! They make all their flies in house along with custom leaders and fly lines. Sadly though, the madison river is gone, due to a dam breaking, so hopefully the next short bus diary shows the river full again!
Ive fished the Mo. Twice. Exactly like you said. Tuff. So I just relaxed by the dam, and puff! Got into some hogs! Just amazing. When you're trippin, don't give up. Go shallow and calm down.
Yeah your right you can't beat the view .you guys did a great job in getting great shots of fish . the country of Montana thanks I watch this hole thing start to fibosg meant to say finish had a few to many or not enough. How ever you want to look at it. Thanks guys gunna watch more
nice show guys! love the length too! bus idea: a pivoting boom with a diffuse light on it for evening cooking etc...u could also just attach your portable light to it.
You guys have a place to stay on the Blackfoot outside Missoula. I'm about a 1/4mi from a boat ramp and always have my finger on the pulse of the river.
Loved it! Hope we get to go out there someday. Hope to see you get the awning on. And we will be checking out the cooking series. All the meals looked amazing. Certainly not healthy, but, I bet they were delicious!
You were close to rock creek at that 24 hour gas station which has campgrounds and an amazing stretch of water...its almost a good thing you didnt stop because you wouldve wanted to stay another night
Thank you guys so much for 50K! I’m so stoked to have y’all along for the ride and I can’t wait to share what we’ve got coming this summer. Cheers, homies!
Congrats guys! Hard work pays off. keep up the awesome work.

Hour and 45 minutes of Short Bus Diaries. Couldn't get any better!

Please remind this to the populace of your state please and thank you lol
@@yeeyee7083 Im actually born in Montana so I do on a daily basis. Just came back to see how my comment aged.
North Carolina Series please! Big snowbird, deep creek in bryson city, and the cheoh for smallmouth! Love short bus diaries!
This is one the best travel/outdoor shows or documentaries I've ever seen. Honestly. It's perfect.
Never thought I'd watch a fishing film starring Bert Kreischer.😂 Awesome content my dudes!
I can't remember an excursion I've enjoyed anymore than this one! Thanks so much. Your easy attitudes and comfortable friendships had me from the first launch to the last cutthroat!
Im hooked with Fly fishing, now I’m hooked watching your videos. Keep em coming!!! Outstanding job guys
Imagine fishing with Danny McBride.
Dude sounds just like Danny Mcbride
Hahaha I was literally about to comment this
Hell I thought it was Danny. That’s the reason I subbed.
🤣🤣🤣
If Danny McBride and Bert Kreischer had a baby
Another thing I like is that you kept the bus old paint. Just drive like the way it was. Plus it's cool you tie flies, and sell it to the public! I'm just learning how to fly fishing, it's a challenging fishing experience!!!
Definitely drives me to spend more time adventuring out of my comfort zone. Awesome trip guys! The scenery itself is worth the trip
Love how the energy level changes the first time you hear, "oh you got a Bull!"
The synchronized cast at like 1:14:45 or so is just... "Chef's kiss"
Damn, I miss living in Victor. Big Sky Brewing hasn't changed....
Even in the dead of Winter, I would stop on the way home from work to fish the Bitterroot EVERY single day.
I LOVE Montana!!
🎣
I've seen the short bus diaries so many times that I feel like I've been there myself! 🙌🏼
Same here but that's not gonna keep me from enjoying all of this hour and 45 minutes masterpiece!
You can see the heart of what goes into making/creating/editing these vlogs! I'm hoping to be on this level one day, keep up the amazing work! Also, Montana is a DREAM adventure; ONE DAY!!
My favorite fly fishing video! Please make another short bus adventure.

Thank you for the great videos. It's so satisfying watching the HD clips of your catches👌🏼.
Just picked up a fly rod and reel, wanted to give it a try since I started watching your guys adventures. You guys rock.
Always listen to the pro guides. They simplify methods and don’t over complicate things like the so called experts. Nice job

The Mo has nice size fish...so it’s worth those tough times. A big Fatty on a Dry is worth any Agro.
Steve nice line dance when catching that trout 😂 lol

The dude looks like Bert Kreischer! This is an awesome video
Montanan here. Buddy drives pretty much the exact same Raptor. We've done a few instate fly fishing expeditions.
Thank you for posting this!
Cool. Your fishing my back yard. South fork of the Flathead. Cool watching you fish my fav runs
Suggestion…if you don’t want everybody and their dog in your spot, never name the river. I’d delete that comment if I were you.
Loved the episode! Northern Michigan is a second best to CO or MT. Pere Marquette, Pine, Betsie, AuSable, plus many others. Put it on your radar!!
Nice work boys & GIRL. Fun stuff.
Glad I found this channel just subbed! Sick video dudes, tight lines. 🎣🎣🎣
Excellent video. I enjoyed it very much.. Thanks!

That would be awesome! Hit us up and let’s make something happen -> scottie@wild-fly.com
SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!!! Keep it up boys
Epic…. Best hour and 45 screen time of my month. Y’all are living the dream!
Get a single row led light bar for each side of the bus, maybe mount on a lg storage rack for the top…..make cooking easier :)
so good! can’t wait to see vol 3
Loved it!
Loved it! Hope we get to go out there someday.
Hope to see you get the awning on.
And we will be checking out the cooking series. All the meals looked amazing. Certainly not healthy, but, I bet they were delicious!
