In today's video, we'll be seeing just how easy it is to LS swap one of these cars! I'll be dressing up the LQ4 and mating it to the transmission. This will be the first time we get a really good look at how the powertrain will look! Thanks for watching!

That wheel tire combo is CLUTCH!
Amazing resto-mod look. 👊🏻👌🏻
Doing work like this is so satisfying when you have the right parts, tools, and information to do it.
Couldn't agree more!
easily one of the top 5 projects on all of youtube
I absolutely love that the wheels have the old school look good choice
I have a 1993 4 door s10 blazer and a 1967 4 door Chevelle Malibu... me and you would get along real good😂
I mean to each there own but I like the way the factory LS looks on the valve covers.
Wow, I havent seen one of your vids in a while. You look completely different since the last time I saw you. You're defo rocking the beard dude.
A true work of art. 💙
Awesome Video Kyle!! 🔥🔥🔥
i am amazed at your channel and content transformation over the years. great job
The wheels look awesome 😍
I'm glad you got that Chevelle engine all sealed up it definitely should sound awesome kyle I enjoyed this episode
Can’t wait to see the next one for this project.
This is looking so good. Good job, Kyle!
Nice I love the all black. Can’t beat it
It looks amazing buddy! Love watching your videos!!
Looks awesome in all black!
Always an awesome day when the legend uploads. 🙌
By the way, I'm a 73 year old professional mechanic, used to build cars in my garage, but now just park in my garage.
Thanks pal! I appreciate the support!
Like your choice of tires on the chevelle project, have the same on my 2014 Impala.
I like the decision of cable throttle with Efi, haven't seen that done with a swap yet. Manual would be my choice but 4L80 will give you lots of upgrade potential.
Very nice my friend. Great job!!!
Awesome video Kyle!
Wow thats clean, i wish my garage was that nice and got that much space. Well atleast i have a garage :D
The wheels are cherry 👍👍👍
The car is coming together good
Watching this build i wish GM them selves would do this restomodding or would bring back modernized old desgins.
I wish I had the time for a project like this...
As much as I hate to ask you how's the 240 going?
Your really hated to ask but yet you asked anyways
@@josephbulkley2767 I use ask months ago about the progress on every video and now I realize it's starting to become annoying to Kyle so that's why I said I hated to ask him about it.
Sometimes the trickiest part of it all is getting the new motor mounts in once I get the engine in if the transmission clears the tunnel I'm good
your a-body build looks almost exactly like mine that’s so cool.
Great videos! I’m stuck at a point. The Allen wrench screw is stripped on the rocker panel seat. What’s your suggestion on removing it?
Your gonna be happy with tires im running the same on my challenger scat pack plenty of grip
Awesome! Thanks for the insight!
With ngk spark plugs you don’t need to use anti seize, they even have a tsb saying not to as it could cause issues with grounding.
Man, I'm digging those wheels that you've selected for the Chevelle! I can't wait to see her all finished!
You have to shim that oil pump before you tighten it down
Awesome video Kyle suckz that you had to redo the oil pan but at lease you correct your self before so etching big happened the motor looks sick all black like that what will make it stand out even more is with a chrome airfilter covor if you can find one thumbs up and shared ps great job
Did you have to modify the transmission tunnel to fit your ls transmission ? I want to get a chevelle and ls swap it , but i wanted to know if it was a way around the body work that i have seen others do on their channel to fit their transmission.
Thinking of buying the same wheel for my 68 chevelle did you use any offset for it or just straight up 18x8 and 18x9?
It's like looking at behind the scenes of an engine on the inside.
Can you let us know , the make and model of your red torque wrench . Thx , beautiful build . 😎
What’s the difference between the LQ4 and The LQ9
The LQ9 has a higher compression ratio
What size rim is that does it have back spacing what widest u can go on factory rear
Are you going to box in the rear portion of the frame?
Hey man shop looking great I'm kinda way behind on your video's but im catching up
Thanks!
Yes sir your very welcome
i like GM a bit more than your Nissan projekt (performance yes but not to much of Windtunnel-design)
A few "Gold painted parts in the Engine room" -perhaps
...and what you plan for interior?
What’s the part number for the headers ?
Some satin black ceramic coating would go well on those headers…
My inner safety manager in me is screaming.. " don't wear flip flops. while working on a engine. unless you don't like your toes"
Fuel injected, right?
Nice
noiice
Nice!! Lookin' good... :-)
How do you know if the wheels are going to clear without the body on?
Tried the wheels before body came off frame....
👍
What im curious about with the trans is why you went automatic and not manual by the way not judging or anything just legit curious
It's my wife's car and she didn't want a manual
@@saabkyle04 oh i see
Where is the original Engine for the Chevelle? @Sabbkyle04
Gotta shim that oil pump i believe
Naw, hand tight spin it over a couple of times. Then torque
I sure hope when you leave the lift(s) they are down on the locks. Would be ashamed to find a pancaked car in the am. Stay safe and be well
Never leave it on hydraulic fluid, if it blows a line, it will fall all the way to the lock....
I can take it and test it out for u
ЗдОрово!
Why aren’t you de burring the engine block.
Alot of time and effort for a car thats not going to be a show car
i can't stand people that working with sandals.
